Abstract

Pastoral Letters are letters written as a form of shepherding. Then it can be said that pastoral letters are pastoral letters to God's people. Seeing this, pastoral letters are very important in the lives of Christians, especially the church. In this article, the author aims to explore and explain the practical instructions contained in pastoral letters for pastoral care. So the hope is that this article will have an impact on every church leader and family head to deeply solve internal problems of faith and Church management, and the church as an institutional institution discusses how the Church deals with these problems in the congregation. Surat-surat Pastoral adalah surat yang dituliskan sebagai bentuk penggembalaan. Maka dapat dikatakan bahwa surat-surat pastoral merupakan surat penggembalaan kepada jemaat Tuhan. Melihat ini, maka surat-surat pastoral sangatlah penting dalam kehidupan umat Kristen, khususnya gereja. Dalam artikel ini, penulis bertujuan mengeksplorasi dan memaparkan petunjuk-petunjuk praktis yang ada dalam surat-surat pastoral untuk penggembalaan jemaat. Sehingga harapannya adalah artikel ini berdampak pada setiap pimpinan gereja dan kepala keluarga untuk secara kedalam menyelesaikan masalah internal iman dan manajemen Gereja, serta gereja secara institusi kelembagaan membahas bagaimana Gereja menangani masalah tersebut di jemaat.

Abstract

Parables as a learning model delivered by Jesus were easily captured by the recipient in His day. What was taught by Jesus to His listeners through various forms of delivery. One form of delivery of Jesus' learning method related to Bible hermeneutics is a literary problem. All genres present in the Scriptures. The parable is clearly a genre that is typical of biblical literature. Parables are most often found in the Gospels because Jesus used this genre in his teaching very often. Why? Not without reason is called Jesus teacher. He is a master in the full sense of the word and he is aware of that his listeners - often very simple people - on more than one occasion have difficulty understanding the extraordinary secrets he preaches to them. That is why he applied different methods according to the principles of rhetoric in order to influence a wide audience. Because of the parable - a short story that conveys a comparison of some known life situation or picture - he can certainly more easily influence a large number of listeners and provide it with simple ways of sublime content about God's kingdom, love, mercy, and God's salvation. Perumpamaan sebagai model pembelajaran yang disampaikan oleh Yesus dengan mudah ditangkap oleh penerima pada jamannya. Apa yang diajarkan oleh Yesus kepada para pendengarnya lewat berbagai bentuk penyampaian. Salah satu bentuk penyampian metode pembelajaran Yesus berhubungan dengan hermeneutika Alkitab adalah masalah sastra. Semua genre hadir dalam Kitab Suci. Perumpamaan jelas merupakan genre yang khas literatur Alkitab. Peumpamaan paling sering ditemukan dalam Injil karena Yesus menggunakan genre ini dalam pengajarannya sangat sering. Mengapa? Bukan tanpa alasan disebut Yesus guru. Dia adalah Guru dalam arti kata sepenuhnya dan dia sadar tentang itu para pendengarnya - seringkali orang yang sangat sederhana - pada lebih dari satu kesempatan memiliki kesulitan memahami rahasia luar biasa yang dia khotbahkan kepada mereka. Itulah mengapa ia menerapkan metode yang berbeda sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip retorika secara berurutan untuk mempengaruhi khalayak luas. Karena perumpamaan - cerita pendek yang menyampaikan perbandingan dari beberapa situasi kehidupan yang dikenal atau gambar - dia tentu bisa lebih mudah pengaruhnya sejumlah besar pendengar dan memberikannya dengan cara sederhana konten luhur tentang kerajaan Allah, kasih, rahmat, dan keselamatan Allah.

Abstract

Nabi Elia merupakan salah satu nabi yang unik dan dipakai oleh Allah sebagai penyambung lidah Allah. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menggali apa yang menjadi karya Allah bagi nabi Elia dan bagaimana implikasinya bagi umat tuhan masa kini. Dimana dtemukan bahwa Allah menyertai nabi Elia dengan kuasa dan kerendahan hati. Hal ini menjadi pembelajaran bagi umat bagaimana sebagai umat Tuhan harus bersikap dan bagaimana dalamkehidupannya harus dipenuhi oleh kuasa Allah.

Abstract

High quality education is very important for the progress of a society or nation. John Fitgerald Kennedy, former President of the USA 1961-1963, said "The development of a nation can not be swifter than the development in education. That is, if we want to advance our society and nation, then we must advance and improve the quality of our education. On the other hand, experts believe that science is power and education is a future investment (knowledge is power and education is investment in the future). So not the act of educating is very important and essential so the purpose of writing is how the act of educating in Christianity is aimed at the life of God's people themselves as a whole. Pendidikan yang berkualitas tinggi sangat penting artinya bagi kemajuan suatu masyarakat atau bangsa. John Fitgerald Kennedy, mantan Presiden USA 1961-1963, mengatakan “The development of a nation can not be swifter than the development in education. Artinya, kalau kita ingin memajukan masyarakat dan bangsa kita, maka kita harus lebih dahulu memajukan dan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan kita. Di pihak lain, para pakar berpendapat bahwa ilmu pengetahuan adalah kekuatan dan pendidikan adalah investasi masa depan (knowledge is power and education is investment in the future). Maka tidaklah tindakan mendidik merupakan hal yang sangat penting dan esensial sehingga tujuan penulisan adalah bagaimana tindakan mendidik dalam kekristenan adalah bertujuan untuk kehidupan umat Tuhan itu sendiri secara utuh.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the plurality of religions in the Christian view and how they are implicated in Christian Religious Education. The method used is quantitative description, where the authors collect material from various sources of writing that relate to religious plurality and Christian views view it. The result of this writing is the discovery of the first theocentric approach, namely religions that exist in a shared environment and life that all come from one common root or ancestor, and from the same God. Second, christocentric, which prioritizes the discussion of the relationship of Christianity with plurality or other religions by highlighting Jesus as a measure. The implication is first the curriculum and specifically the material or teaching material needs to be adapted to the context. Second, the speakers as resource persons, whoever they are, who are involved in the teaching of PAK, need to have at least adequate knowledge, insights and skills about the condition of plural religious communities and pluralism into general principles and characters.

Abstract

Why are some leaders successful, while others fail? The truth is that there is no "magic combination" of characteristics that make a leader successful, and different characteristics matter in different situations. This does not mean, however, that we cannot learn to be effective leaders. We just need to understand the different approaches to leadership, so that we can use the right approach for our own situation. This paper offers how to build entrepreneurial Christian leadership in achieving the success of a leader. The conclusion is that entrepreneurial leadership is a personal strength of a leader. It is very necessary that the soul of leadership in every human person. Mengapa beberapa pemimpin yang sukses, sementara yang lain gagal? Yang benar adalah bahwa tidak ada "kombinasi ajaib" dari karakteristik yang membuat seorang pemimpin yang sukses, dan karakteristik yang berbeda penting dalam situasi yang berbeda. Ini tidak berarti, bagaimanapun, bahwa kita tidak bisa belajar untuk menjadi pemimpin yang efektif. Kita hanya perlu memahami berbagai pendekatan kepemimpinan, sehingga kita dapat menggunakan pendekatan yang tepat untuk situasi sendiri. Tulisan ini menawarkan bagaimana membangun kepemimpinan Kristen entrepreneurial dalam mencapai keberhasilan seorang pemimpin. Kesimpulannya bahwa kepemimpinan entrepreneurial adalah suatu kekuatan pribadi dari seorang pemimpin. Sangat diperlukan sekali jiwa kepemimpinan pada setiap pribadi manusia.

Abstract

Facing the development of science and technology, Christian Religious Education provides an understanding for adolescents to utilize technology and stay away from its negative effects. The mission of Christian Religious Education means to provide a comprehensive change in spiritual life in the midst of a pluralistic society. Therefore, Christian Religious Education teachers in the church must be sensitive to the conditions, development and needs of youth. This study aims first, to improve the professional competence of Christian Religious Education teachers in churches to foster Christian values for Christian teenagers. Second, Christian Religious Education teachers realize that the growth of adolescent faith helps build good and appropriate teenagers levels. Third, Christian teenagers will take part in the ministry when they become mature in faith by using descriptive qualitative methods. Menghadapi perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi, Pendidikan Agama Kristen berperan memberikan pemahaman bagi remaja untuk memanfaatkan teknologi dan menjauhi dampak negatifnya. Misi Pendidikan Agama Kristen ialah memberikan perubahan kehidupan rohani yang menyeluruh ditengah-tengah masyarkat majemuk. Karena itu, guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen di gereja harus peka terhadap kondisi, perkembangan dan kebutuhan remaja. Penelitian ini bertujuan pertama, meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen di gereja untuk menumbuhkan nlai-nilai kristiani remaja Kristen. Kedua, guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen menyadari bahwa pertumbuhan iman remaja turut dipengaruhi oleh pengajaran yang baik dan tepat sesuai level remaja. Ketiga, remaja Kristen akan mengambil bagian dalam pelayanan ketika sudah menjadi dewasa iman dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriprif.

Abstract

This article describes the problem of how the Bible as the word of God is interpreted contextually for theology in Indonesia. The method used in this article is to explore contextual theological models and to have a reciprocal, constructive and dialectical dialogue between the Bible and dogma (the universal tradition) as well as the actual beliefs of the community (local traditions). The result of this research is that the meaning of God in the Bible will have a liberating and humanizing power if the meaning of God is not applied directly but in dialogue with the actual beliefs of the community where the Bible is read and preached.

Abstract

The location of the lecturer competency research was carried out at the PGRI University of Semarang. Based on preliminary research observations there has been a decrease in lecturer competence. Therefore the aim of this research is to determine the most dominant competence, the level of competence implementation between Christian and non-Christian lecturers, and the most dominant level of functional positions. This research uses quantitative research methods. From the results of data analysis carried out with Confidence Interval at the 5% significance level, the lower bound and upper bound values ​​were obtained in the medium category so that they were in accordance with the first hypothesis. From the results of the analysis using linear regression, the personality competency dimension (D3) has about 42%. These results indicate that pedagogical competence is the most dominant dimension because it is closely related as a competent teaching staff in teacher colleges. The level of implementation of Christian lecturers and non-Christian lecturers is in the medium category. But with the analysis of the score acquisition, the score for the implementation of Christian lecturers' competence was higher, namely 99.10%. Based on the results of the analysis using Linear Regression and Binary segmentation on the fourth hypothesis Head Lector becomes the most dominant functional background category category, being able to improve 0.637 times. Efforts or policies need to be made to improve the quality of lecturers. Lokasi penelitian kompetensi dosen dilaksanakan di Universitas PGRI Semarang. Berdasarkan observasi awal penelitian telah terjadi penurunan kompetensi dosen. Oleh karena itu tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kompetensi yang paling dominan, tingkat implementasi kompetensi antara dosen Kristen dan dosen non-Kristen, dan tingkat jabatan fungsional yang paling dominan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Dari hasil analisis data yang dilakukan dengan Confidence Interval pada taraf signifikansi 5% dihasilkan nilai lower Bound dan upper Bound pada kategori sedang sehingga sesuai dengan hipotesis pertama. Dari hasil analisis menggunakan regresi linier dimensi kompetensi kepribadian (D3) memiliki sebesar 42 %. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi pedagogik sebagai dimensi yang paling dominan karena berkaitan erat sebagai tenaga pengajar yang kompeten pada perguruan tinggi keguruan. Tingkat implementasi dosen Kristen dan dosen non-Kristen pada kategori sedang. Tetapi dengan analisa perolehan skor, skor implementasi kompetensi dosen Kristen lebih tinggi yaitu 99,10%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis menggunakan Regresi linier dan Biner segmentation pada hipotesis keempat Lektor Kepala menjadi kategori latar belakang jabatan fungsional paling dominan, mampu memperbaiki sebesar 0,637 kali. Perlu dilakukan upaya atau kebijakan untuk meningkatkan kualitas dosen.

Abstract

Whether the entry of world religions into Indonesia is driven more by puritanical economic, political, or missiological (da'wah) motives, has colored the uniqueness of each, and has influenced the thickness or thinness of tolerance levels towards the presence of "the other." How to read economic, political, or missiological relations in these relations which are not as simple as imagined. So the article has the aim of understanding how the development of world religions and the history of their development in the archipelago at a glance. The method used is an evaluative literature study, where each discussion of religions ends with an evaluation of their development. Masuknya agama-agama dunia ke Indonesia pakah itu lebih didorong motif ekonomis, politik, atau motif misiologis (da’wah) yang lebih puritan, telah mewarnai kekhasan masing-masing, dan mempengaruhi tebal atau tipis tingkat toleransi terhadap kehadiran “yang lain” (the others). Bagaimana membaca relasi ekonomi, politis atau misiologis dalam relasi ini yang ternyata tidak sesederhana seperti dibayangkan. Maka artikel memiliki tujuan memahami bagaimana perkembangan agama-agama dunia dan sejarah perkembangannya di Nusantara secara selayang pandang. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur evalutif, dimana setiap pembahasan agama-agama diakhiri dengan evaluasi dari perkembangannya.
