Abstract

The light source that comes from sunlight entering directly into the room, especially in the morning and afternoon, is called natural lighting. SNI 03-2396-2001 states that ideal natural lighting during the day, from 08:00 to 16:00 WIB, should provide evenly distributed light throughout the room without causing glare. The standard illumination for martial arts training rooms ranges from 300 lux (minimum), 350 lux (medium), and 500 lux (maximum). The aim of the research is to evaluate and optimize natural lighting in sports spaces, particularly the Hapkido room on the second floor of the BTC (Bagoes Training Center) Gym in Seputih Raman, Lampung. The quality, orientation of window openings, and the distribution of light entering the building through windows are important factors in utilizing natural lighting. With larger window sizes, there is a need to control the amount of light entering the room. A quantitative method is used in this research. Data is collected through observation, literature review, light intensity measurements in the field, and simulations of current conditions using DIALux Evo. Data analysis uses mathematical formulas. The results show that lighting at BTC (Bagoes Training Center) Gym lacks light intensity and does not meet the standard. As a result, athletes feel less comfortable during training. At BTC Gym, lighting intensity has been adjusted to meet the lighting standards through several changes, such as lowering glass reflectance, altering window sizes, changing the type of window glass, and reducing sun shading. The lighting level has been improved, and the room now meets the SNI 03-2396-2001 standard. The Daylight Factor should be between 2% and 5%, with TUU between 0.5 and 0.8, and TUS between 0.3 and 0.5. A Daylight Factor above 10% can cause glare, uneven light distribution, and excessive heating, which requires design modifications to ensure optimal natural lighting.

Abstract

Organizational development is a structured approach oriented towards systematic change to improve organizational effectiveness. This study was conducted at BKPSDM Surabaya City Government, focusing on diagnosing problems and designing interventions based on goal setting to improve the alignment of organizational and individual goals. This study uses Cummings & Worley's (2015) organizational development model, which consists of five main stages: entering and contracting, diagnosing, planning and implementing change, evaluating, and institutionalizing. The diagnosis process was conducted using the Organizational Diagnosis Questionnaire (ODQ) developed from Weisbord's Six Box Model (1976), including six main components: purpose, structure, leadership, relationships, rewards, and helpful mechanisms. The diagnosis results showed that the purpose component had the lowest score, indicating employees' weak understanding of the organization's vision, mission, and strategic goals. Based on these findings, a goal setting intervention was designed collaboratively to increase employee engagement, role clarity, and synchronization between personal and organizational goals. The intervention design included group goal setting, meetings between superiors and subordinates, creation of individual action plans, and periodic evaluation of achievements. The findings suggest that a participatory OD approach can provide an effective framework for building a more adaptive, transparent, and long-term results-oriented goal-setting system in public sector organizations

Abstract

Peran generasi saat ini diperlukan untuk terus melestarikan dan menerapkan tradisi agar tidak terkikis di era teknologi modern. Generasi ini termasuk Generasi Y dan Generasi Z. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perspektif tradisi penguburan ari-ari dari sudut pandang generasi milenial Y dan generasi Z. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik triangulasi yaitu teknik triangulasi sumber. Teknik triangulasi peneliti, dan teknik triangulasi metode. Hasil analisis kemudian disajikan dalam bentuk naratif untuk memberikan gambaran umum tentang topik yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa modernitas dan globalisasi mempengaruhi perspektif kedua generasi terhadap tradisi penguburan ari-ari. Namun meskipun nilai-nilai budaya masih dihormati, telah terjadi perubahan dalam perspektif yang lebih logis dan fleksibel. Generasi Y cenderung menghargai dan mempertahankan tradisi sebagai bagian dari identitas budaya mereka. Generasi Z cenderung mencari cara untuk mengadaptasi tradisi ini agar lebih relevan dengan kehidupan modern. Terlepas dari perbedaan perspektif, kedua generasi menunjukkan minat untuk memahami dan mengeksplorasi tradisi ini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi sejarah kompleks situs Beji Antaboga, arsitektur kompleks situs Beji Antaboga dan nilai-nilai karakter pada kompleks situs Beji Antaboga yang dapat diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dan jenis penelitian studi kasus dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sejarah kompleks situs Beji Antaboga yang diyakini sebagai candi Maha Rsi Markandeya dan penemuan mata air pada tahun 1991 yang disebut sebagai Tirta Tri Murti. Ada simbol atau bangunan dari enam agama dan satu kepercayaan, yaitu, Hindu, Islam, Kristen, Katolik, Budha, Konfusianisme dan Kejawen yang hidup berdampingan dalam satu daerah dengan karakteristik arsitektur bangunan yang mencerminkan masing-masing agama dan kepercayaan. Nilai-nilai karakter seperti toleransi, spiritualitas, gotong royong, kerukunan dapat ditemukan di kompleks situs Beji Antagoga, nilai-nilai tersebut perlu diterapkan sejak dini dalam kehidupan sehari-hari agar dapat meminimalisir perilaku intoleran yang dapat memecah belah Bangsa Indonesia.

Abstract

The use of digital money in various circles has differences both in frequency and reasons for use. The study aims to determine the use of digital payments based on the field of work and the field of work that utilizes digital payments the most in Samarinda City. The research used a survey type of research, with a descriptive quantitative approach. The sample size was 96 respondents who were residents of Samarinda City with groupings based on field of work. Data collection was done through distributing questionnaires. The research used descriptive analysis and calculation of data percentages, which were processed through the Microsoft Excel application. The results showed that the use of digital payments in Samarinda City provides convenience for people from various occupational groups. People already feel the security, speed, convenience, and efficiency of transactions in using digital payments. 60% of people in Samarinda City based on the field of work in a week use digital payments several times to fulfill their needs.

Abstract

This research is motivated by students’ low interest in history lessons, which is often caused by monotonous teaching methods. The research questions include: (1) How is the experience of learning history at the Soeharto Museum? (2) What materials and media are presented? and (3) What are the effectiveness and challenges of history learning in this museum? The objectives of this study are: (1) to describe the history learning experience at the Soeharto Museum, (2) to identify the materials and media used, and (3) to analyze the effectiveness and challenges encountered. This qualitative research was conducted through interviews with museum managers and visitors, non-participant observation, and documentation. The findings show that: (1) the Soeharto Museum is effective as a medium for historical education that is both empirical and affective, through collections, visual narratives, documentary films, and guided tours; (2) the materials and media, including interactive storytelling, discussions of values, national songs, and reflection activities, are tailored to visitors’ age levels, thus engaging cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains; (3) the museum’s effectiveness is evidenced by positive responses from visitors and educational institutions, and by the adoption of similar methods by other museums. This experience- and emotion-based approach aligns with constructivist theory, although the main challenge remains maintaining relevance in the digital era. The museum addresses this through technological innovation and communicative educators.This research highlights the importance of collaboration between schools and museums to make history learning more contextual, reflective, and adaptive. The Soeharto Museum serves as an effective educational medium by integrating traditional and digital approaches to foster nationalism and historical awareness among younger generations.

Abstract

This study examines the important role of maritime power and trade in supporting the political and economic supremacy of the Majapahit Kingdom during the reign of Hayam Wuruk (1350–1389 AD). Using historical literature research methods, this study went through four stages, namely heuristics, verification, interpretation, and historiography. The results of the study show that Majapahit successfully integrated a strong maritime defense system with a structured trade network. The kingdom strategically positioned its naval forces in various maritime zones and optimized river infrastructure, particularly the Brantas and Bengawan Solo rivers, to connect inland production areas with major ports such as Canggu, Tuban, Gresik, and Surabaya. Additionally, Majapahit applied the diplomatic principle of Mitreka Satata in establishing peaceful and stable relations with regional and inter-regional kingdoms, such as China, India, and Southeast Asian nations. This approach created a safe and profitable trading environment. As a result, Majapahit emerged as a dominant maritime and commercial power in the 14th century, demonstrating that the maritime and trade sectors were the cornerstone of the kingdom's prosperity

Abstract

Based on the researcher's experience during the implementation of School Field Introduction 2 (PLP 2), it was found that learning was not yet optimal, as teachers only used one textbook and did not use supporting media or modules. The objectives of this study are: (1) to design and develop a digital flipbook-based learning module aimed at enhancing the learning interest of Grade XI students at SMKN 1 Kasihan, and (2) to evaluate the quality of the developed module in terms of feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness. The research adopts a Research and Development (R&D) approach, employing Robert Maribe Branch’s ADDIE model, which consists of five sequential phases: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data collection was conducted using two main instruments: questionnaires and written tests. The collected data were analyzed quantitatively. The findings reveal that: (1) with respect to product feasibility, the developed digital flipbook learning module has a “Very good” feasibility level with a score of “4,4”, (2) in terms of practicality, the developed digital flipbook learning module has a “very good” practicality level with a score of “4,71”, (3) in terms of effectiveness, the developed digital flipbbook learning module has an “Effective” level of effectiveness with a score percentage of “76,66%

Abstract

Compulsive dance is an art that originated from Banyuwangi, an area located at the eastern tip of Java Island, which is inhabited by the Osing, Javanese, Madura and Balinese tribes. This article explains the history of compulsive dance by raising several main problems as follows; First, What is the background of the emergence of compulsive dance art in Banyuwangi?; Second, How is the development and function of the art of gandrung dance in Banyuwangi?. The research method in this article is the historical method. Based on the results of research, gandrung dance is an art that emerged in the colonial era, used as a means of indigenous communication to fight against the colonial government. Then after the independence era, gandrung dance has become a phenomenon and has its own attraction for the audience, because of the charm of its attractive and dynamic form of presentation. This charm and attraction has encouraged the local government and the people of Banyuwangi to support and develop the gandrung dance as a cultural characteristic of the Banyuwangi people. This has also shown that the art of gandrung dance in its development has changed from the colonial era to the independence era.
