Abstract

The literature on branding of educational institutions is still under development, so far there has been no research showing university branding. Research that has quantitative variations that have branding with other variables in the context of business organizations. This study aims to explore the formation of branding in vocational higher education institutions in the tourism sector.  Data were taken using Focus Group Discussion and interviews from tourism stakeholders.  This study uses thematic analysis, namely open coding and axial coding.  The results show that there are main attributes in the formation of branding, namely identity, alumni, management aspects, quality of human resources and products and competitiveness.  With the formation of these branding attributes, this research contributes to the measurement of tourism vocational education branding

Abstract

This research was conducted to answer doubts over the competence of students in the field of auditing at D4 Public Financial Accounting Study Program, Bengkalis State Polytechnic. This study aims to compare learning outcomes and student competencies and learning business performance in the audit course for one semester. All students who have taken the audit course become the population as well as the sample in the study to ensure that the results obtained in the study will represent the whole student without exception. Based on the SPSS output on the Mann Whitney nonparametric statistical difference test, the sig result is 34.8%. The sig number of 34.8% is certainly greater than the alpha value of 5%. Thus, it is clear that based on the evaluation of the learning outcomes of the audit course between class A and class B students of the Bengkalis State Polytechnic Public Financial Accounting Study Program, there is no difference. This proves that the teaching methods that have been applied in the lecture process have improved students 'skills and knowledge in the field of audit, both in class A and in class B. A good lecture process or knowledge transfer even though it is in a different class will have an impact on increasing the knowledge and competence of students in auditing the financial statements of a company

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of independence and learning motivation on student achievement in accounting expertise program at SMK Negeri 1 Sidrap. The population in this study were 66th grade students of the Accounting Skills Program, amounting to 66 students. Data analysis used descriptive analysis, classic assumption test, instrument test and hypothesis test with non-parametric statistics. The results of this study indicate that learning independence and motivation influence student achievement with a significant level < 0.05. The coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.538 or 53.8 percent. This means that students who have high independence and motivation to learn in accounting subjects will be able to improve student learning achievement itself by 53.8 percent while the remaining 46.2 percent is influenced by other factors beyond observation in this study. The increase in student achievement is dominated by learning independence with a coefficient of determination of 0.471 or 47 percent

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana pendidikan ekonomi yang berlangsung disekolah dapat menumbuhkan karakter peduli lingkungan pada siswa, serta merumuskan nilai-nilai peduli lingkungan yang dapat  diinternalisasi dalam materi pelajaran ekonomi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan dengan mengacu pada pendekatan sistem menurut Dick dan Carey. Tahapan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari tahap analisis kebutuhan awal, identifikasi materi ekonomi yang akan dikembangkan, proses pengembangan, tahap kompilasi dan produksi, serta tahap uji coba dan revisi produk. Hasil  penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakter peduli lingkungan perlu diintegrasikan kedalam materi pelajaran ekonomi sehingga terbentuk pemahaman, sikap dan perilaku peduli lingkungan yang diimplementasikan dalam berbagai kegiatan ekonomi manusia seperti kegiatan produksi maupun kegiatan konsumsi. Secara sederhana, kegiatan ekonomi yang dilakukan oleh manusia akan berdampak pada lingkungan, baik sebagai penyedia sumber daya pemuas kebutuhan maupun sebagai objek yang terkena dampak dari aktifitas ekonomi manusia

Abstract

Media Pembelajaran online saat ini memang sangat bermanfaat , melihat perkembangan teknologi sangat pesat. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan produk untuk pembelajaran berupa media pmbelajaran online untuk matakuliah Strategi Belajar dan Mengajar Akuntansi dengan nama produk “Hi, Learning Models” yang akan diunggah pada suatu platform pembelajaran. Produk yang dihasilkan sudah melalui proses validasi sehingga dinyatakan layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran pada matakuliah Strategi Belajar dan Mengajar Akuntansi. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model pengembangan Borg and Gall yang telah disesuaikan dengan kondisi lapangan. Tahapan yang digunakan meliputi (a) analisis situasi awal, (b) pengembangan rancangan “Hi, Learning Models”, (c) membuat produk, (d) uji validitas, (e) revisi I Media Pembelajaran online Hi, Learning Models, (f) Uji coba lapangan terbatas (g) revisi II Media Pembelajaran online Hi, Learning Models II, (h) produk akhir. Validasi media pembelajaran online dilakukan oleh dua subyek yaitu ahli materi dan ahli media. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini disarankan kepada dosen akuntansi khususnya, untuk memanfaatkan media pembelajaran online dalam proses pembelajarannya melihat bahwa saat ini teknologi sangat berpengaruh pada seluruh aspek kehidupan, khususnya pembelajaran. Di sisi lain, harapan peneliti bahwa nantinya akan dikembangkan pula media pembelajaran online dengan bentuk lain dan untuk matakuliah juga materi lainnya.

Abstract

Keputusan dalam menentukan pilihan perguruan tinggi melalui identifikasi pengaruh dari tujuh variabel mencakup budaya, kelompok rujukan, keluarga, bauran pemasaran, persepsi, motivasi dan sikap merupakan objek dalam penelitian ini. Subjek penelitian adalah calon mahasiswa angkatan 2020 dan mahasiswa angkatan 2019 dengan total sampel sebesar 342 responden dengan metode proportionate stratified random sampling pada dua stratum sampel. Hasil analisis secara simultan menunjukkan bahwa seluruh variabel dependent berpengaruh secara serempak terhadap keputusan akademik sebesar 89,5 persen. Secara parsial, hasil penelitian menunjukkan setiap variabel dependent berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan akademik dengan proporsi variabel dominan adalah keluarga, budaya dan persepsi

Abstract

The aims of this study to determine the direct and indirect effect of independent learning on critical thinking skills with learning motivation as an intervening variable. This research is a quantitative research with a survey approach. This type of research is ex-post facto, with the sampling process using simple random sampling. The method of analysis used the normality test, linearity test, multicolonierity test, heteroscedasticity test, T test, path analysis, and descriptive analysis. The results showed that independent learning has a positive and significant direvt effect on learning motivation by 78,3 %. Learning motivation has a positive and significant direct effect on critical thinking skills by 61%. Learning independence has a positive and significant effect directly on the ability to think critically by 28,9%. Learning independence has a positive and significant indirect effect on critical thinking skills with learning motivation as an intervening variable of 47,8%. This shows that the good independent learning of students and good motivation to learn, it is able to improve the critical thinking skills of good students.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze Efect Of Investment to economic growth in Java island and Sulawesi island in 2006-2013. The research used the secondary data, time series and cross section of the eight provinces, namely Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, East Java, North Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi, South Sulawesi and Southeast Sulawesi. The data used comprised the investment index and economic growth index. The data were then Analyzed using Structural Equation Model (SEM) processed using Amos and SPSS econometric software. The results showed that the effect of investment on positive economic growth was significant on Java and positively insignificant on Sulawesi Island. That means that each increase in investment by one percent increases economic growth by 0.479 percent on Java and on Sulawesi Island investment has no effect on economic growth. The investment spread in Java is more stable from year to year and from region to region. Different things on the island of Sulawesi, investment is not stable, sometimes very high and sometimes also very low in other years

Abstract

This research is a type of quantitative research that aims to determine and analyze how educational qualifications, work experience and work discipline influence the performance of teachers at Frater Makassar Senior High School. The independent variables in this study are educational qualifications, work experience and work discipline while the dependent variable is teacher performance. The population in this study were all teachers of SMA Frater Makassar consisting of ASN status teachers, permanent foundation teachers, contract teachers, and apprentice teachers as many as 41 teachers, while the sample used saturated sample techniques, namely the entire population was used as the research sample. Research data obtained by using a questionnaire, observation and documentation. The data analysis method used was validity test, reliability test and spearman rank correlation test. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive analysis (average score, standard deviation, variance and percentage), classical assumption test (normality test, linearity test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test) multiple regression test, t-test, f-test and determination coefficient delta test (ΔR2). The results showed that educational qualifications, work experience and work discipline simultaneously affect teacher performance, the amount of influence given is 24.2%, while the remaining 75.8% is explained or influenced by other variables not selected in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine; 1) The efforts made by students in developing entrepreneurial potential; 2) The effect of knitting training on the entrepreneurial potential of UNIWARA Students; 3) The results achieved by students with knitting training. This research is a qualitative and data collection technique using interviews. Knitting training plays an important role for students, one of which is to develop skills and explore potential in depth. The results of this training make students enthusiastic about participating in knitting training, because the benefits of this activity can be implemented by creating a knitting product that makes a profit if the product can be sold successfully. The effect of knitting training to develop students' entrepreneurial potential, namely: 1) Increasing the potential for student creativity; 2) Being able to know the potential that exists within oneself; 3) The results of knitting training can be implemented in the community; 4) Creating a work of knitting results; 5) Generate a profit side for works that are successfully sold; 6) Changing the mind set about job opportunities. Based on the results of the research, the researcher gave several recommendations as follows: 1) For students, it is hoped that they will continue to seek experiences at a young age with all the things that can be used. develop creativity. 2) For the next researcher it is suggested to look at other factors that influence entrepreneurial interest such as personality or environment. Alternatively, analyze the factors of interest in knitting training.
