Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of trait-based leadership of school principals in managing teachers’ trait-related challenges in elementary schools. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach with a literature study design. Data were obtained from scientific journals, books, and relevant research reports published in the last ten years. Data analysis was conducted using interactive analysis techniques, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that principals’ leadership traits such as integrity, emotional stability, openness, decisiveness, and empathy significantly influence their effectiveness in managing diverse teacher characteristics. Teachers’ trait-related challenges include resistance to change, low adaptability, lack of collaboration, and varying professional commitment. Effective leadership implementation is reflected in the principal’s ability to model positive character, build constructive communication, and foster a supportive school climate. The study concludes that trait-based leadership remains relevant in elementary school management, particularly when integrated with contextual and relational approaches.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the principal’s situational leadership in enhancing teachers’ readiness to manage students with special needs at SD Kristen 01 Salatiga. The research employed a qualitative approach using a case study design. The participants consisted of the principal and six classroom teachers with varying levels of teaching experience. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, academic supervision observations, and document analysis of the Special Assistance Program and students’ academic progress reports.Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model of Matthew B. Miles, A. Michael Huberman, and Johnny Saldaña, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The findings indicate that the principal applied four situational leadership styles directing, coaching, supporting, and delegating adaptively according to teachers’ developmental levels (D1–D4). The implementation of these leadership practices contributed to the improvement of inclusive pedagogical competence, differentiated instruction skills, equity based flexible assessment, and the strengthening of a collaborative culture within a professional learning community. Despite challenges such as time constraints and variations in teachers’ psychological readiness, situational leadership proved to be an effective strategy in fostering a sustainable inclusive school culture. This study affirms that context-based adaptive leadership is a key factor in strengthening inclusive education practices at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This study examines the concept of character-based education through the principle of uswah hasanah (good example) in Hadith Tarbawi and its implementation in the digital era. The problem addressed is the moral crisis and the weakening of exemplary values in modern digital-based education. The purpose of this study is to analyze selected prophetic traditions linguistically and contextually and to formulate practical strategies for implementing exemplary-based Islamic education in digital environments. This research employs a qualitative library research method using classical hadith sources and contemporary educational literature published within the last eight years. The findings indicate that the prophetic traditions emphasize two fundamental principles: the integration of learning and teaching (khayrukum man ta‘allama al-Qur’an wa ‘allamahu) and consistency in good deeds (adwamuha wa in qalla). These principles remain highly relevant in digital education through ethical online conduct, consistent value transmission, and authentic digital content creation. The study concludes that digital media should function as a strategic platform for expanding prophetic exemplary education.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of using the Think Pair Share cooperative learning model on IPAS learning outcomes in the Cultural Heritage material for Grade V of SDN. This research was conducted at SD NEGERI 104202, located on Jln. Terusan, Dusun V Bandar Setia, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province, in the even semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. This study used a quasi-experimental design and a nonequivalent control group design. The sample consisted of 45 students selected using total sampling. The results of the study were obtained using an independent sample t- test with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the use of the Think Pair Share cooperative learning model has an effect and is quite effective on IPAS learning outcomes in the Cultural Heritage material for fifth grade students at SD Negeri 104202.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of a love-based curriculum from the perspective of educational service marketing at MTs Darul Hikmah. In the increasingly competitive landscape of Islamic educational institutions, schools are required not only to provide academic achievement but also to offer distinctive values that strengthen their institutional positioning. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving the principal, teachers, students, and parents. The findings indicate that the love-based curriculum is implemented through humanistic learning interactions, empathetic communication, persuasive disciplinary practices, and a family-oriented school culture. Teachers play a central role in building emotional connections with students, creating a supportive and comfortable learning environment. From a service marketing perspective, the values of love are reflected in the elements of people, process, and institutional image, which contribute to building trust and parental loyalty. The study concludes that a love-based curriculum functions not only as a pedagogical approach but also as a positioning strategy that enhances the competitiveness and reputation of the institution.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of digital ethics awareness on the civic behavior of students of the Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) Study Program at the University of Lampung. The research method used in this study is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The subjects of this study were PPKn students at the University of Lampung from 2022 to 2024 with a sample of 76 respondents. The data collection technique used a questionnaire and was strengthened by interview techniques. Based on the results of the study, it shows that digital ethics awareness influences the civic behavior of PPKn students at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Lampung. Based on a simple linear regression test, the RSquare value obtained was 0.109. This indicates that digital ethics awareness contributes 10.9% to the formation of student civic behavior, while the remaining 89.1% is influenced by other factors outside this research variable. The meaning of this 10.9% figure indicates that knowledge and internalization of digital ethical values ​​​​of PPKn students at the University of Lampung have become the basic foundation for behaving in the digital space. However, this low percentage also reveals the reality that digital citizenship behavior (civic behavior) is a very complex phenomenon and does not only depend on the normative understanding of individuals alone.

Abstract

Students’ ability to write procedural texts at the elementary school level remains relatively low, particularly in organizing steps systematically, understanding text structure, and applying appropriate language features. This condition indicates the need for contextual and meaningful instructional innovation. This study aims to analyze the use of packaging media as an alternative instructional medium to improve elementary students’ procedural text writing skills. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using a library research design. Data were collected through a systematic review of relevant scholarly journals, books, and academic sources published within the last ten years. Data analysis was conducted using content analysis and comprehensive synthesis of previous research findings. The results indicate that packaging media possess authentic, contextual, and multimodal characteristics aligned with the structure of procedural texts, including objectives, materials, and sequential steps. Previous studies also demonstrate that the use of concrete and visual media enhances students’ understanding of text structure, ability to organize steps logically and systematically, as well as learning motivation and participation. Therefore, packaging media have strong potential as an innovative and effective instructional medium for improving elementary students’ procedural writing skills

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in shaping the religious character of eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 3 Banjar Margo, as well as to identify the strategies, supporting factors, and challenges encountered in the PAI learning process. This research is motivated by the declining practice of religious values among junior high school students, such as low discipline in worship and a decreasing attitude of respect toward teachers and parents.The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, using observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The research subjects consisted of the principal, Islamic Religious Education teachers, and eighth-grade students. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing with verification to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the implementation of teachers’ roles in fostering students’ religious character.The results indicate that Islamic Religious Education teachers play a strategic role in developing students’ religious character through several main functions: (1) exemplary behavior (uswah hasanah), (2) habituation of worship and positive morals, (3) providing advice and religious motivation, and (4) managing a spiritually conducive learning environment. Supporting factors include the principal’s support, routine religious programs (such as congregational prayers, Qur’an recitation, and religious activities), and parental involvement. The challenges faced involve students’ inconsistency in worship, the influence of social media, and limited instructional time for PAI.This study concludes that the success of religious character formation is highly influenced by the integration of teachers’ exemplary behavior, a religious school culture, and collaboration between the school and family. Thus, PAI teachers are not only transmitters of religious knowledge but also moral mentors and spiritual role models who directly contribute to nurturing Islamic values within students.

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh media pembelajaran K-pop terhadap minat belajar peserta didik kelas I di SD Supriyadi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif quasi eksperimen dalam bentuk non equivalent control grup design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah kelas I, peneliti menggunakan sampel dua kelas yaitu kelas I A berjumlah 28 orang sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas I C yang berjumlah 27 orang sebagai kelas control. instrumen angket berjumlah 10 soal. Pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, angket dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan Uji Paired Sampel T-test menggunakan bantuan SPSS. dengan penelitian ini menghasilkan perbedaan antara minat belajar yang signifikan dengan menggunakan media K-POP. Peneliti mengunakan angket dengan menggunakan skala likert, dengan penelitian ini didapatkan perbedaan yang signifikan antara minat belajar yang menggunakan media K-POP dan tanpa menggunakan media K- POP. Hasil menggunakan Uji t-test sig. (2- tailed) sebesar 0,000 yang menggunakan taraf kepercayaan 95%. Diperoleh nilai sig. 0,000 kurang dari 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05). Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ho ditolak hal ini berarti terdapat perbedaan minat belajar peserta didik yang signifikan antara dengan menggunakan media K-POP dan tanpa media K-POP kelas I di SD Supriyadi

Abstract

Holistic Integrative Early Childhood Education (PAUD HI) is a comprehensive and integrated service approach designed to fulfill the essential needs of early childhood. The implementation of PAUD HI does not only focus on educational aspects but also includes health, nutrition, caregiving, protection, and child welfare. This study aims to determine how the implementation of PAUD HI serves as a strategy in strengthening child protection services and fulfilling children’s rights at TK Isriyati Sugito. This research employed a qualitative approach using a descriptive method. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects included the principal, teachers, and related parties involved in the implementation of the PAUD HI program. The data were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of PAUD HI at TK Isriyati Sugito has been carried out through various integrated programs, such as child-friendly learning activities, health and nutrition monitoring, collaboration Layanan with parents, and the implementation of child protection policies within the school environment. These strategies are able to strengthen protection services and ensure the fulfillment of children’s rights in aspects of growth and development, participation, and a sense of security within the school environment. Therefore, the implementation of PAUD HI becomes an effective strategy in supporting optimal child protection and the fulfillment of children’s rights. Schools are expected to continuously improve coordination with various stakeholders to ensure that the services provided are increasingly high-quality and sustainable.
