Abstract

Fracture of the femoral neck is a common type of trauma in the elderly, with risk increasing with age. Hemiarthroplasty is a procedure that replaces the femoral head and part of the femoral neck with a prosthesis while leaving the acetabulum intact. This procedure is preferred due to its relatively short operative time, rapid patient mobilization, and low morbidity. One common intraoperative side effect is nausea and vomiting, which can be influenced by spinal blockade, hypotension, psychological changes, sudden abdominal movement, and opioid use. This study employed a descriptive observational design involving five patients undergoing hemiarthroplasty under spinal anesthesia. Non-pharmacological adjuvant intervention through acupressure at the Neiguan (PC6) point was applied for 10–15 minutes, with nausea scores measured using the Visual Analog Scale for Nausea and hemodynamic monitoring every 5 minutes. The results showed a significant reduction in nausea scores, averaging 65%, with individual scores decreasing from 5–8 to 1–4. This intervention proved to be safe, effective, and capable of improving patient comfort during surgery

Abstract

The study aims to investigate learning objectives, practice questions,and critical thinkingskills related to the animal life cycle curriculum for fourth-grade students at SDNPembantaian 1 Sungai Tabuk. Using both qualitative and quantitative researchapproaches,the study conducted Classroom Action Research (CAR) in four meetings with18 fourth-grade students as subjects, even during the 2023-2024 semester. The researchfindings showed that instructor activity increased from a score of 17 to 30 for meetings1-4, student participation increased from 28% to 100% in meetings 1-4, the criticalthinking component increased from 28% to 100% in meetings 1-4, and learningoutcomes increased from 50% to 100% in meetings 1-4.

Abstract

Keberadaan Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara Tuntungan memberikan pengaruh bagi masyarakat sekitar terutama dibidang sosial dan agama. Sebagai mahasiswa yang menjadi potensi bagi kelanjutan pembangunan masyarakat. Kontribusi yang dilakukan mahasiswa di lingkungan masyarakat sekitar seperti mengajari anak anak mengaji di mesjid, suasana mesjid lebih ramai dan banyaknya kegiatan keagamaan yang diadakan oleh mahasiswa UINSU di daerah Tuntungan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada studi ini adalah metode kualitatif. Penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam penelitian lapangan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya dampak sosial yakni mengalami perubahan sudut pandang masyarakat. Terutama dalam kegiatan keagamaan yang diselenggarakan mahasiswa UINSU sangat berperan penting bagi kehidupan masyarakat.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Times Game Tournament Method on the Numeracy Skills of Fourth-Grade Students at Sidorejo 02 Public Elementary School. Data collection methods were conducted through tests, observations, and documentation. The population in this study was all fourth-grade students at Sidorejo 02 Public Elementary School, totaling 13 students.This study employed a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design in the form of a one-group pretest–posttest design. The subjects in this study were all fourth-grade students at Sidorejo 02 Public Elementary School. Data were collected through numeracy ability tests administered before (pretest) and after (posttest) the implementation of the Times Game Tournament learning model. Data analysis was carried out with prerequisite tests to ensure normality and hypothesis testing through paired sample t-tests. The results showed that the average value of students' numeracy skills increased from a pretest value of 58.84 to a posttest value of 81.92. The results of the paired t-test showed a significance value (Sig. 0.000 < 0.05), which means there was a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Times Game Tournament learning model has a positive effect on improving the numeracy skills of fourth-grade students at Sidorejo 02 Elementary School.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of Pancasila Education Learning using Pop-Up book media for fourth-grade students at SDN Lambangan, with emphasis on Pancasila values content. The main aspects examined include the implementation of Pop-Up book media in learning activities, student engagement during the learning process, their responses to the use of this media, and obstacles encountered in its application. The methodology applied is a descriptive qualitative approach involving the School Principal, Fourth Grade Teacher, and fourth-grade students of SDN Lambangan as informants. Information collection was carried out through direct observation, structured dialogue, and review of related documents. Information analysis was conducted through stages of data simplification, information visualization, and conclusion formulation. The findings indicate that the application of Pop-Up book media significantly strengthens student engagement, learning enthusiasm, and activity during learning. The majority of students (88.1%) gave very positive appreciation to this learning media, indicating increased curiosity and enthusiasm for the learning substance. Pop-Up book media has proven successful in encouraging students to participate actively, especially in group discussion activities, and helps them appreciate Pancasila values more deeply. Nevertheless, this study also found several challenges in its implementation that need to be anticipated, particularly related to resource availability and the diversity of student learning styles. Thus, the use of this innovative media has great prospects for creating a more interactive and enjoyable learning atmosphere for students.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the numeracy ability of grade V students of SDN 1 Pinoh Utara in solving the Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) questions. The research uses a qualitative method with a case study design. The research subjects consisted of 20 students of class V and one homeroom teacher. Data was collected through a 4-question test based on three numeracy indicators and an unstructured interview with the teacher. The results showed that 6 students (30%) were in the high category, 11 students (55%) in the medium category, and 3 students (15%) in the low category. Students are good at using mathematical numbers and symbols and analyzing information in the form of tables. However, the ability to interpret results and make decisions still needs to be improved. These difficulties are influenced by a lack of familiarity with contextual questions, reading skills that are not optimal, and exercises that focus more on calculations. Therefore, numeracy learning needs to be developed through context-based questions, problem-based learning, and the habit of writing down reasons in writing.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the inhibiting factors that cause a lack of interest in reading and writing in grade III students at Reformasi Plus Private Elementary School. This study is a qualitative study with a descriptive approach. The subjects were grade III students, their homeroom teachers, and their parents. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that various factors may contribute to low interest in reading and writing among students. Internal factors, such as lack of learning motivation, limited initial understanding, or low self-confidence, can be among the obstacles. In addition, external factors such as lack of family support, a less conducive learning environment, or less engaging learning methods can also play a significant role. Based on these issues, teachers should be able to understand the difficulties experienced by students early on. This is done so that teachers have more accurate information to address and improve the learning system provided.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in the subject of Akidah Akhlak in developing students’ critical thinking skills at MAN 2 Mojokerto and to identify its supporting and inhibiting factors. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through non-participant observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis process included data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings indicate that the implementation of PBL enhances students’ learning activities in analyzing problems related to Akidah Akhlak material, fosters critical thinking skills, and encourages active collaboration and group discussion. Students demonstrated high enthusiasm and active participation during the learning process. Supporting factors include teacher readiness, the use of varied instructional strategies, and school environment support, while inhibiting factors consist of time limitations and differences in students’ abilities in understanding the given problems.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of using the Team Assisted Individualization cooperative learning model on the learning outcomes of Indonesian Language in the Explanatory Text material for sixth grade students at SDN. This research was conducted at SD NEGERI 104202 Bandar Setia, located on Jln. Terusan, Dusun V Bandar Setia, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province, in the even semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. This study used a quasi-experimental design and a nonequivalent control group design. The sample size was 40 students, determined using total sampling. The results of the study were obtained from the Independent Sample T Test with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The N-Gain test results obtained an N-Gain Score of 0.5500, and the N-Gain test score in this study was classified as moderate. Meanwhile, the N-Gain percent score was 54.9991, which according to the N-Gain test classification, means that this study was quite effective. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the use of the Team Assisted Individualization cooperative learning model had an effect and was quite effective on the Indonesian language learning outcomes for the Explanatory Text material in grade VI of SD Negeri 104202 Bandar Setia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat penerapan implementasi teori kontruktivisme dalam pembelajaran IPA materi siklus air pada siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri Sawah Besar 01 Kota Semarang yaitu dengan cara mengaitkan pengetahuan sebelumnya dalam pemberian pembelajaran. Subyek pada penelitian ini di tujukan pada siswa kelas V SDN sawah besar 01 Kota Semarang. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah dengan cara wawancara dengan kepala sekolah, dan guru. Selain itu, pengumpulan data dari hasil observasi pada guru kelas dan dokumentasi dan angket siswa. Sebagaimana dengan dalam metode kualitatif pengambilan dan pengolahan data dengan triagulasi yaitu dengan cara mereduksi data yang kemudian di analisis hasilnya sehingga dapat menjadi ulasan deskriptif. Berdasarkan penelitian yang ada dapat di simpulkan bahwa pada SDN Sawah Besar 01 sudah menerapkan atau mengimpestasikan teori konstruktivisme pada pembelajaran ipa materi siklus air yang dimana sekolah ini menerapkan teori konstruktivisme sebagai stimulus atau pematik dalam pembelajaran yang lebih mendalam, dengan menerapkan teori konstruktivisme pada pelajaran ipa pula peserta didik lebih paham dan dapat mengikuti pelajaran dengan baik di karenakan dalam pematik atau demostrasinya guru mengaitkan pengetahuan yang telah di ketahuinya dalam kehidupan sehari – hari selain pada pematik dalam pelajaran ipa juga selalu terkait dengan lingkungan sekitar yang menambah siswa tertarik dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Hal ini di dukung oleh pelitian sebelumnya yaitu pada penelitian nurfatimah sugrah yang berjudul implementasi teori belajar konstruktivisme dalam pembelajaran sains dan pada penelitian yang di lakukan oleh deni nur latifah yang berjudul implementasi teuri pembelajaran konstruktivisme pada pembelajaran PAI di SDN 05 tubanan –kembang – jepara. Yang pada penelitian itu mendapatkan bahwa implementasi atau penerapan dalam teori konstruktivisme perlu di terapkan dalam pembelajaran di sekolah.
