Abstract

Learning difficulties are conditions of students who face difficulties and inability of students in learning by examining the background, the form of symptoms and causes of difficulties. The aims of this research are 1). to analyze the form of learning difficulties in mathematics on flat material in class IV 2). To analyze the factors that cause learning difficulties in mathematics on flat shapes in class IV. This research method is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques of interviews, documentation and assisted math tests. Data analysis used according to Milles and Huberman. The results of this study are that there are 4 forms of student learning difficulties, namely, 1) Students have difficulty understanding the concept of flat shapes, 2) Students have difficulty relating to the practical principles of flat material, 3) Students have difficulty dealing with symbols, namely the formula area and circumference of flat shapes, 4) Students have difficulty understanding the language of mathematics, namely understanding the shape of the story. Factors causing these difficulties are influenced by 2 factors, namely internal and external. Internally, namely the attitude of students learning students who are lazy when studying and student learning motivation is low so that students are less enthusiastic and less curious. Externally, namely, 1) Teachers with monotonous methods and unattractive media, 2) the environment is clean and comfortable but the classrooms lack maintenance, 3) facilities and infrastructure, namely facilities that are less supportive such as lack of learning books and projectors, while infrastructure is a lack of practicum buildings, 4) family environment, namely students lack guidance at home due to family economic conditions.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the learning carried out SD Negeri 1 Tunjungan during Covid 19 is carried out online so that School Literacy Movement cannot be carried out.This literacy practice made students less interested in reading,lazy to learn to read. Early of 2023 the school literacy movement began to be implemented again SD Negeri 1 Tunjungan Study aims to determine the implementation of School Literacy Movement at the habituation stage SD Negeri 1 Tunjungan to find out the impact of the School Literacy Movement on students' interest in reading SD Negeri 1 Tunjungan.study uses a qualitative method.By using observation,interview,questionnaire and documentation.subjects of study class III students SD Negeri 1 Tunjungan.Data was processed by triangulation technique.Triangulation techniques is used to test the credibility of data which is done by checking the data that has been obtained from the same source using different techniques.results showed that the implementation of the school literacy movement SD Negeri 1 Tunjungan has been running well.This is evidenced by the results of distributing questionnaires,documentation and interviews with class III teachers and principals.Results of the questionnaire calculation of students' reading interest show the percentage of indicators of students' needs reading 91%,action find readings 81%, the pleasure reading 90%,the desire always read 75%, following what has been read 72%.Based on the results of study,the suggestion that can be concluded is schools improve facilities and infrastructure that support School Literacy Movement activities such as reading corners,libraries and reading books that can attract students to increase students' interest in reading.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research uses development research. This research is motivated by the unavailability of snakes and ladders educational game tools as learning media in mathematics. Snakes and ladders educational game tool media is good to use because it can make it easier for educators to carry out learning, students can also learn while playing so that the process of learning activities feels fun and not boring. Based on the research results, it was obtained that the material validation was 90.38% with the criteria of "very feasible". The media expert validation results were 100% with the "very feasible" criteria. The results of the educator's response were 91.17% included in the "very interesting" category. The results of student responses to product trials with a percentage of 96% fall into the "good" category and can already be said to be "interesting". The average learning outcomes of mathematics using the snake and ladder educational game tool with a score of 85 from 37 students who took part in the product trial, and obtained an effectiveness of 100%. All students have achieved the minimum score and everything is complete.

Abstract

This research was driven by the desire to investigate the impact of subtheme 3 on student learning outcomes. Even though independence activities have been carried out, there are still many fifth grade students at SDN 01 Sitiung who have not achieved Minimum Competency (KKM), especially in the sciences field, especially theme 7 sub-theme 3. This research seeks to determine the effect of the Mind Mapping learning approach on student academic achievement by comparing their learning outcomes before and after its implementation.This type of research is a Pre-Experimental Design with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population of class I-VI students at SDN 01 Sitiung, the sample used by class V students at SDN 01 Sitiung was 25 people. The data collection method used in this research is saturated sampling. The use of written test techniques, especially test sheets, for data collection purposes is a common practice in educational research. The statistical analysis methodology used in this study includes the Normality test and Hypothesis test using SPSS..The results of the analysis of the hypothesis test data on the paired sample test with a significant level of 0.05, show that the sig (2-tailed) result is smaller than the test data or equation 0.002 <0.05, then H0 is rejected. The criteria for testing the hypothesis, it was concluded that there was a significant influence of the Mind Mapping learning model on the learning outcomes of sub-theme 3 science material in class V SDN 01 Sitiung.

Abstract

Family education is an important part of behavioral education. In general, family education is carried out through the introduction of religious and ethical values which include manners, customs and behavior that must be carried out in everyday life. The aim of this work is to show and discuss the role of Islamic religious education in the family and society. This writing method is a literature study with a descriptive and research approach. From this it can be concluded that the role of Islamic religious education is: (1) the foundation in the family to shape the behavior and morals of children and know the boundaries of good and bad, (2) form people who believe in Allah SWT and fear Him SWT, (3) the most important foundation and role. in moral education for the development of Indonesian society as a whole.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The Covid-19 pandemic changed the curriculum to learning, methods, namely online learning (online) which after running there is Learning Loss. Overcoming this, the Ministry of Education and Culture establishes an independent curriculum as a recovery, in which it strengthens the profile of Pancasila students as the embodiment of Indonesian student who are globally competent and have 21st century skills, namely 4C skills creativity, critical thinking, communication, collaboration. In society, communication is important as a daily identity and in elementary schools it requires attention to learning speaking skills through Indonesian language subjects. The purpose of this study to describe the speaking skills in storytelling in the independent curriculum learning Indonesian language class IV Al Maraghy and the factors that influence the speaking skills in storytelling in the independent curriculum learning with qualitative research methods. The research data used observation, interviews, and documentation at Unggulan Muslimat Elementary School. The result showed that speaking skills in storytelling in Class IV Al Maraghy in the independent curriculum learning had different skill, namely high, medium, and low abilities. The factors that influence speaking skills in storytelling are internal factors such as motivational factors, and self-confidence factors. While external factors such as mother tongue factors, environmental factors, and teachers factors.

Abstract

This research is motivated by several factors, namely: the media provided by the school does not meet the needs of students, the surrounding environment is not maximized, and the lack of media use in materials that should involve media. The formulation of the problem proposed in this study is whether realia media has an impact on student IPAS learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of realia media on the learning outcomes of IPAS on buying and selling material for grade IV students. This research method is a quantitative approach with the type of experimental research, namely research conducted to test the validity of experimental variables. In this study, researchers sampled the entire student population. The data source of this research comes from a sample of 52 students. Based on the results of hypothesis calculation, the value of Thitung (-19.896) < Ttabel (2.009) is obtained. In accordance with the statistical hypothesis that has been made before the research, it can be concluded that there is an effect of realia media on the learning outcomes of IPAS grade IV students at a significance level of 5% (a = 0.05).

Abstract

Geometry at the elementary school level brings various benefits to students. Firstly, it is a critical stage in the development of spatial abilities. Geometry helps students understand the world around them in different ways. This study aims to analyze the difficulties in solving geometry problems among elementary school students. The research design used is quantitative research with data collection techniques using tests and documentation. The research subjects are fifth-grade students of SD Islam Al Azhar 34 Makassar, consisting of 30 individuals. The research sample consists of 5 students. The results of the study indicate that visual-spatial understanding, perception, interpretation, and mathematical communication skills play a crucial role in students' understanding of geometric concepts. Student A needs to be introduced to the concept of classifying plane figures to improve their spatial understanding, while student B needs a deeper understanding of the types of plane figures. Student C needs to develop mathematical communication skills and pay attention to the instructions of the problems in order to accurately transfer their understanding of concepts. Student D has adequate conceptual understanding but needs to improve their accuracy in solving the final steps. Student E has good conceptual understanding of solving geometry problems but needs to be reminded of the importance of completing all solution steps accurately. An approach that includes introducing the concept of classifying plane figures, deepening understanding of the types of plane figures, developing mathematical communication skills, and paying attention to problem instructions needs to be implemented to enhance students' understanding of geometric concepts and their ability to solve problems accurately.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see how the impact of using smartphones, the religious character of students and the efforts of teachers in instilling religious character in students. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type, the informant selection technique was carried out by means of purposive sampling. Data collection techniques with in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation studies. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman models. The results of this study are in accordance with the formulation of the problem (1) the impact of using smartphones on the religious character of students, (2) the efforts of teachers in instilling religious character in students. Based on the formulation of the problem, it can be formulated that the impact of smartphone use greatly influences the religious character of students. As for the impact of using a smartphone, namely (a) likes to rebel or fight, (b) lack of interest in learning, (c) lazy to pray, (d) arrogant, (e) likes to be alone. These efforts were carried out by the teachers to shape the personality of students to be better, and have good character as well.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the role of competence of teacher motivators in enhancing student motivation in elementary schools. Through observation and interviews conducted at UPT SPF SD Inpres Karuwisi 2, it was found that teacher motivators have a significant impact on student motivation in learning. By implementing effective strategies such as providing praise and recognition, actively involving students, and maintaining communication with parents, teacher motivators are able to create a positive and motivating learning environment. This is supported by motivational theories from experts, such as Self-Determination Theory, Hierarchy of Needs Theory, Goal Setting Theory, and Social-Cognitive Theory. With competent teacher motivators, students experience improved motivation in learning, become motivated, confident, and achieve better academic performance. In conclusion, the competence of teacher motivators plays a crucial role in enhancing student motivation in elementary schools and positively influencing the overall development of students' potentials.
