Abstract

Matematika selalu berkaitan dengan pelajaran lain bahkan pada permasalahan yang berhubungan pada kehidupan sehari-hari dan tidak lepas dari operasi hitungnya. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk menggambarkan proses pembelajaran di kelas V dalam mempelajari operasi hitung pecahan, kesulitan dalam melakukan operasi hitung pecahan siswa kelas V, tingkat kesulitan penyelesaian operasi hitung pecahan siswa kelas V, dan pemberian solusi yang dapat mengatasi kesulitan menyelesaikan operasi hitung pecahan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang mendeskripsikan keadaan atau menjelaskan dan memaparkan data hasil penelitian. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 39 siswa dikelas VB. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pembelajaran masih berpusat pada guru dalam menjelaskan secara langsung melalui papan tulis, kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan soal ditunjukkan dari hasil tes, siswa kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan soal operasi hitung dikarenakan faktor kefokusan dalam belajar, kurang memahami cara menyamakan pecahan yang berpenyebut tidak sama, perubahan bentuk pecahan dan penyederhanaan pecahan. Peningkatan cara mengajar dalam penerapan model, penggunaan variasi metode dan penggunaan media pembelajaran menjadi suatu solusi yang dapat dilakukan guru dalam mengatasi permasalahan serta bimbingan orang tua dalam mendampingi siswa belajar di rumah.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan mengenai pembiasan pendidikan islam dalam membentuk karakter religius siswa kelas V di SD Islam Almadina Semarang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi; wawancara; dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu Reduksi data (Data Reduction), Penyajian data (Data Display), dan Verifikasi Data/ penyimpulan (Conclusions Drowing). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya pembentuka karakter religius melalui metode pembiasaan yang sudah diterapkan dan dijalankan di SD Islam Almadina Semarang diantarannya: (1) berdoa sebelum dan setelah pembelajaran; (2) hafalan surat-surat pendek; (3) pelaksanaan sholat dhuha; dan (4) menerapkan budaya 5S (Salam, Senyu, Sapa, dan Santun). Dengan adanya kegiatan pembiasaan yang sudah dijalankan tersebut implementasi dari cara-cara yang digunakan untuk membentuk karakter religius siswa kelas V di SD Islam Almadinah Semarang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan peserta didik dalam menulis teks ulasan. Hal tersebut terjadi karena kurangnya kreativitas pendidik dalam menggunakan metode pembelajaran. Penggunaan metode yang diterapkan secara tepat kepada peserta didik akan membuat peserta didik lebih termotivasi dalam pembelajaran di dalam kelas, metode yang tepat untuk diterapkan kepada peserta didik yaitu think-pair share. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menguji kemampuan penulis dalam merencanakan, melaksanakan, dan mengevaluasi pembelajaran menulis teks ulasan berfokus pada struktur teks berbantuan media videoscribe pada siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Baleendah; untuk menguji kemampuan peserta didik sebelum menggunakan metode Think-Pair Share pembelajaran menulis teks ulasan yang berfokuskan pada struktur teks berbantuan media Videoscribe pada kelas VIII SMPN 1 Baleendah; untuk menguji kemampuan peserta didik setelah menggunakan metode Think-Pair-Share pembelajaran menulis teks ulasan yang berfokuskan pada struktur teks berbantuan media Videoscribe pada kelas VIII SMPN 1 Baleendah; dan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan peserta didik menulis teks ulasan berfokus pada struktur teks sebelum dan sesudah diterapkannya metode think-pair share berbantuan media videoscribe di kelas eksperimen dan kontrol yang menggunakan metode student-teams achievement divisions. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Data yang didapatkan yaitu pretest dan posttest peserta didik dari kelas eksperimen maupun kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian ini penulis mampu merencanakan, melaksanakan, dan mengevaluasi pembelajaran menulis teks ulasan berfokus pada struktur teks berbantuan media videoscribe dengan rata-rata nilai perencanaan 3,8 dan rata-rata nilai pelaksanaan 3,4, nilai termasuk kategori A; kemampuan peserta didik sebelum menggunakan metode think-pair share pembelajaran menulis teks ulasan berbantuan media videoscribe yang memiliki nilai pretest pada kelas eksperimen yaitu 6 dan pretest kelas kontrol yaitu 0; kemampuan peserta didik setelah menggunakan metode think-pair share pembelajaran menulis teks ulasan berbantuan media videoscribe yang memiliki nilai posttest pada kelas eksperimen yaitu 100 dan posttest kelas kontrol yaitu 82; terdapat perbedaan kemampuan peserta didik dalam menulis teks ulasan berfokus pada struktur teks sebelum dan sesudah diterapkannya metode Think-Pair Share berbantuan media Videoscribe di kelas eksperimen dan kontrol menggunakan metode student-teams achievement divisions.

Abstract

Students' learning styles in learning vary, so it is important for teachers to know the learning styles of their students. There are students who feel that mathematics is difficult to understand and understand, and teachers do not know student learning styles. One of the characteristics of learning that is related to the acquisition, processing, and transfer of knowledge is the student's learning style. The purpose of this study is to determine students' learning styles when learning mathematics. Learning style is a very important form of learning. Information related to the characteristics of student learning styles, it is very important for teachers to improve the quality of learning. The research method is qualitative research. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. Data validity was carried out through technique and source triangulation. The data analysis technique used consists of data acquisition, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the learning style of grade 1 students at SD Negeri Petompon 02 Semarang in learning mathematics, which showed visual characteristics had visual characteristics, namely students could understand problems by reading, which they themselves could not. The auditory learning style means that students understand better when the teacher reads the questions, knows how to convey information obtained from their work orally. A learning style with kinesthetic characteristics, namely students prefer to solve problems in groups, cannot concentrate on solving problems if they have to sit still for a long time. The results showed that the learning style of grade 1 students at SD Negeri Petompon 02 Semarang was a learning style. visual, auditory, kinesthetic and the most dominant learning style is the kinesthetic learning style.

Abstract

Class action research (CAR) is a research approach aimed at addressing various issues that arise in the classroom environment or learning process. Its goal is to find solutions that can improve these conditions to be more effective and efficient achieving desired outcomes. In this study, class action research used to improve the learning outcomes of first-grade students at SD Negeri Barang 1 in the subject of mathematics, specifically on the topic of addition. In this research used Kurt Lewin's model, which consists of four stages: (1) planning, (2) acting, (3) observing, and (4) reflecting. During the initial observation process, it was found that the learning outcomes of first-grade students at SD Negeri Barang 1 were still very low, with only one student able to achieve the standard grade. The first cycle implementing the class action research, percentage of students who achieved the standard grade reached 54.5%, falling under the high to very high category. The second cycle, which implemented problem-based learning as the instructional model, significant impact are shown on improving student learning outcomes. In the second cycle, 81.8% of students were able to achieve the standard grade, falling under the high to very high category. In second cycle, percentage of students who had not reached the standard grade was 18.2%, categorized as a satisfactory grade. This indicates that the instructional model can have a significant positive impact on student learning outcomes. The use of appropriate learning media based on students' developmental stages and the fulfilling role of the teacher as a facilitator also contributed to the improvement of learning outcomes, engagement, motivation, and enthusiasm of the students

Abstract

The teacher is the most important element in the world of education. In teaching and learning activities, teachers must be able to develop strategies so that students are able to participate in these learning activities, so that the objectives of learning activities can be achieved. It is good classroom management that the teacher can apply so that learning activities run according to purpose. This study aims to determine that teacher’s role in carrying out classroom management planning, the implementation of strategies carried out by the teacher of effective classroom management, and the indicators used to measure the success of classroom management and the evaluation results by the teacher. The research method used is descriptive qualitative by conducting interviews and observations of class IV, V, homeroom teachers and principals at SDN Cisaat Tengah District of Serang, as well as grade IV students. The results of this study indicate that the teacher’s role in implementing classroom management in grade IV is quite good. Where the teacher has been able to apply his role as a good teacher in managing the class, implementing strategic apporoaches and classroom management techinques quite well. But indeed there are still afew shortcomings where the teacher is still very lacking in applying the discussion and debate method.

Abstract

Application of the Numbered Head Together Type Cooperative Learning Model to Increase Student Learning Activeness in Indonesian Language Learning Class X MIPA SMA Negeri 12 Makassar The research aims to determine the process and results of applying active speaking students in class X MIPA SMA Negeri 12 Makassar and to find out the results of increasing students' speaking activeness class X MIPA 4 SMA Negeri 12 Makassar uses the Numbered Head Together cooperative learning model. This research is a classroom action research, there are two cycles in its implementation. Each cycle has four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The subjects of this study were 25 students of class X MIPA 4 SMA Negeri 12 Makassar. Data collection is done by test. In the planning stages of cycle I and cycle II, the learning implementation is the same, the difference is in the learning steps. If the learning steps carried out in cycle I are not optimal or have an effect on the achievement of learning outcomes, then cycle II student achievement is better or said to be complete with the learning outcomes achieved after the application of the cooperative learning model shows the results that in cycle I completeness is 70% and in cycle II completely classical by 89% of students who are active in speaking. The conclusion from the results of this study is that the Numbered Head Together learning model can increase student learning activity in Indonesian language class X MIPA 4 SMA Negeri 12 Makassar.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve students' speaking skills in social studies class IV at SDN Tanah Tinggi 09 Central Jakarta. The type of research conducted was classroom action research which was carried out in 2 cycles. The learning model used in this research is Digital Storytelling (DST). The instruments used in improving the achievement of research are teacher activity observation sheets, student activity observation sheets, interviews and documentation. The conclusion of the research that has been done shows that there is an increase in the speaking skills of students after applying the Digital Storytelling model. This can be seen from the completeness of teacher and learner activities above 80%. In cycle I, the teacher's activity was 74% which in cycle II increased to 81.5%. In the activity of students in cycle I, it was 75%, which in cycle II increased to 85%. From the observation data obtained in the learning process, a model is needed that can motivate students to improve students' speaking skills.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low ability of mathematical knowledge of flat building material in fourth grade students of SD Negeri 3 Sukarapih. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of mathematical knowledge ability of flat building material through the PBL model; This type of research uses Classroom Action Research with planning, implementation, observation, and reflection steps. This PTK was carried out with two cycles. Cycle I was conducted on 3 May 2023 and cycle II was conducted on 10 May 2023. The research was conducted in class IV SDN 3 Sukarapih with a total of 23 students consisting of 11 boys and 12 girls; The results showed an increase in mathematics skills. The improvement was known by the test results in Cycle I and Cycle II which showed an increase in the average score and percentage of classical completeness. The average student score in the initial condition (pre-cycle) was 69 with a classical completeness of 35% (8 students) out of 23 students who achieved a score ≥ 75 (KKM score). Cycle I was 76 with a classical completeness of 65% (15 students) achieving a score ≥ 75. Cycle II was 82 with a classical completeness of 87% (20 students) achieving a score ≥ 75. There was an increase in the percentage of learning completeness by 22% from cycle I to cycle II; the conclusion is that the PBL model can improve mathematics skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of using Google Classroom application learning media on the learning outcomes of students in class X SMA Negeri 12 Makassar. This type of research uses a quantitative approach, with a Pre-experimental design research method, a design that includes only one group or class that is given a pre and post test. The research design used in this study is Pre-Experimental one group pre-test post-test design, this is done on one class or one group without a control or comparison group. The research procedure includes the preparation stage, the implementation stage, grouping and analyzing data, concluding the research results. The Sig. value of 0.000 <0.05 was obtained, thus it can be decided that the average pretest and posttest are different. Because the value of Sig. <0.05, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means that there is an effect of using learning media based on the google classroom application on aspects of the ability to write argumentation paragraphs and improve the learning outcomes of Indonesian language students in class X MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 12 Makassar.
