Abstract

Given the rising trend of Live Streaming Commerce (LSC) on social media today, this study analyzes the marketing strategies of three Indonesian fashion SMEs brands, namely Tenue de Attire, Rurik.id, and 3SECOND, which market their products on TikTok Shop. Employing a qualitative content analysis method, this research evaluates the implementation of the 7Ps of Marketing Mix concept (Product, Price, Place, Promotion, Physical Evidence, People, Process) and the theory of Social Media Engagement, focusing on hosts credibility and interaction during live sessions. The findings indicate that Rurik.id and 3SECOND are more effective in applying the 7Ps strategies and gaining viewers’ engagement compared to Tenue de Attire. Factors such as dynamic interactions, diverse product offerings, competitive pricing, and hosts’ credibility play a significant role in increasing viewer attention and purchase intention. This study concludes that the success of live streaming commerce lies on the effective integration of marketing strategies and digital communication methods, particularly on social media. It is expected to provide valuable insights for Indonesian SMEs in optimizing sales through digital platforms, especially TikTok Shop. Abstract

The film 3 Srikandi tells the true story of the struggle of three Indonesian female archery athletes at the Seoul Olympics in 2988, this film is an important example in the representation of stereotypes of women in the socio-cultural life of the Indonesian people which is packaged naturally in national cinema. The purpose of this study is to find out the representation of stereotypes of women reflected in the film 3 Srikandi through Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive research with a semiotic analysis approach method. The research data is in the form of fragments of sentences, dialogues and scene images that show the stereotypes of women in the film 3 Srikandi. The results of the study show that the film 3 Srikandi not only shows the story of the struggle of the three main characters but, on the other hand, it also shows many stereotypes of women who are still thriving in the socio-cultural life of Indonesian society, such as women often feel dilemmas when choosing between their careers and personal lives, women are figures who pay attention to physical beauty, women are figures who are synonymous with tenderness but On the other hand, they are able to do hard work like men, women are strong figures in facing any situation, women are figures who have high dedication and never give up if they have a dream, and women as figures who provide warmth and emotional support to fellow women.

Abstract

This study entitled “Analysis of Friendship Familiarity of Freshmen and Upperclassmen Friendships in Communication Science Students of Singaperbangsa University of Karawang (UNSIKA)” aims to analyze the level of friendship familiarity between freshmen and upperclassmen and analyze the factors that influence these differences. Social Penetration Theory and Phenomenology Theory are used to understand the dynamics of social relationships in an academic environment. The research methods used are case study, phenomenology, and descriptive. The results of this study show that freshmen are more explorative in friendships, while senior students are more selective and focus on relationship quality.

Abstract

User-Generated Content (UGC) plays a vital role in shaping consumer trust within the dynamic realm of e-commerce. This study explores the psychological mechanisms through which UGC influences trust, employing a communication psychology approach. Using qualitative interviews with frequent e-commerce users, the research investigates how UGC impacts trust and the psychological factors involved. Thematic analysis of participant responses revealed key themes, including perceived authenticity, community engagement, and content creator relatability. Participants emphasized that genuine and relatable UGC enhances transparency and trustworthiness, setting it apart from traditional advertising. Additionally, social proof and cognitive biases were found to significantly influence trust formation. Findings suggest that e-commerce platforms can enhance consumer trust by fostering authentic UGC and encouraging active community engagement. This research provides valuable insights into the interaction between digital content and consumer behavior, offering practical strategies for leveraging UGC, such as promoting genuine user participation and integrating UGC into marketing efforts. This study highlights the critical role of UGC in building trust in e-commerce, contributing to the theoretical framework of communication psychology while bridging the gap between theory and practice.

Abstract

Abstract (Bahasa Inggris) The study aimed to investigate the impact resulting from the prioritization of information and information exposure on cases of Acute Kidney Injury in Children, specifically examining the level of anxiety among young mothers who follow the Instagram account @mpasibayisehat. This research uses three theories, that is Agenda Setting Theory for variable X1 of prioritization of information; Cultivation Theory for variable X2 of information exposure; and Anxiety and Uncertainty Management Theory for variable Y of level of anxiety. The coefficient analysis results reveal that factor X1 yielded a t-value of 5.350, while variable X2 showed a t-value of 2.729. Additionally, the ANOVA table indicates that the calculated F-value is 219.652. This suggests a significant impact between each independent factor and the dependent factor. Furthermore, collectively, the independent factors also have a significant impact on the dependent variable. In this context, considering the coefficient of determination, the influence of variable X on Y can be measured at a substantial 81.5%. These findings illustrate that the observed influence falls into the category of very high impact. Abstract

THE ROLE OF INTERPERSONAL COMMUNICATION OF TEACHERS OF MALANG CULTURE IN INCORPORATING MALAY CULTURE VALUES, Malay Local Content is a subject or study material that contains content and learning processes about the potential and uniqueness of the Malays. Malay Local Content aims for students to understand the superiority and wisdom of the Malays. Riau Malay Culture is a mandatory local content for students from PAUD to SMP/MTs in Riau Province. this study intends to find out how interpersonal communication of teachers is when instilling Malay cultural values ​​to students. By involving 3 informants and informants, namely teachers, this study uses a qualitative research method with data collection techniques using observation, in-depth interviews, and document studies as well as descriptive data analysis techniques. then what can be concluded in this study is as follows: (1). Overall, the role of interpersonal communication of teachers in improving children's knowledge is concluded to be quite good. (2). The language used by teachers is very appropriate in communicating with their students. (3). Non-verbal communication carried out by teachers in interacting with their students is by using movements, additional objects, gestures, facial expressions, symbols and varying voice intonations. The findings of this research paper highlight the importance of teacher interpersonal communication in students’ cultural identity development
