Abstract

This research aims to examine the application of green construction principles in construction management, with a case study on the construction project of the Governor's Office of West Sulawesi Province. The method used in this research is Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) to assess the performance and importance of green construction attributes, and SWOT analysis to formulate performance improvement strategies. The results showed that the performance level of green construction implementation reached 93%, which indicates that the existing performance needs to be maintained but also requires some improvement in certain aspects with the percentage of conformity level, namely the provision of green open areas 87%, environmentally friendly energy innovation 87% and water management 87%. From the SWOT analysis, internal factors have a value of 2.34 and external factors 2.41, which places this project in quadrant I, signaling the potential for aggressive development. Recommended strategies include strengthening green technology innovation and resource optimization through cooperation with external parties (SO strategy), as well as resource optimization and review of sustainability initiatives (WT strategy). With the implementation of these strategies, it is expected that green construction on this project can significantly contribute to operational efficiency and environmental sustainability. This research also encourages government policies to make green construction a standard in tendering construction projects to support sustainable development in Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to shadow the weighting of very important criteria to improve the quality of the production process at UD. Hasil Bumi; performance satisfaction from suppliers to improve the quality of the production process at UD. Hasil Bumi. The research methodology uses the SUR (STANDARDIZED UNITLESS RATING) method. The number of respondents for this analysis is 3 worker actors from UD. Hasil Bumi. SUR respondents are suppliers of 3 CV brands. Supplier performance using the SUR method, stated as the most superior in providing performance to UD. Hasil Bumi is CV. C under the control of Gunawan Ariawan. The value obtained from the total sub-criteria with a total SUR value of 2.04.

Abstract

PT Emitraco Transportasi Mandiri is a reasonably large company engaged in the service sector, especially in trucking, warehousing, and container depot services. In running its business, the company faces many dangerous things, especially in production process activities that can potentially cause work accidents. Production activities ranging from the stuffing process, stripping containers, and arranging containers and goods in the warehouse are the primary sources of risk for work accidents. Therefore, this study was conducted using risk assessment analysis to reduce the potential risk of work accidents. The study's results showed that with the results of the FMEA analysis, the highest RPN value was obtained in the activity of the emergence of depot branches with an RPN value of 351. Then, based on the results of the FTA analysis on the potential risk of work accidents, 11 priority essential events were produced, which were strengthened by the MOCUS method analysis, resulting in 6 basic event combinations. The proposed improvement solution for the company is to conduct periodic monitoring during the container arrangement process by considering the predetermined SOP..

Abstract

The production of plastic glass AMDK waste continues to increase in Indonesia along with the high consumption of bottled drinking water, creating challenges in an efficient recycling process. This research aims to design and prototype a plastic glass ring cutter using a Value Engineering approach, supported by QFD-based requirement analysis and material selection through the AHP method. The tool is designed to improve cutting efficiency, user comfort, and operational safety. Test results showed that the tool was able to reduce cutting time by 58%, produce more uniform cuts, and significantly lower the risk of injury. Main materials of aluminium and stainless steel were used to ensure durability and portability of the tool, making it an ideal solution for the informal sector. This research makes a real contribution in supporting a safer, more efficient and user-friendly plastic waste recycling process.

Abstract

XYZ is one of the industries engaged in the fabrication sector. The workplace is not too large, making the production area full of machines and piles of equipment so that it can cause danger to workers and the company. This study aims to ensure that all workers at PT. XYZ know the procedures for using hand grinders properly and correctly, and comply with all regulations when using work tools. This study uses the HIRARC method to identify the problems experienced. Based on the results of the analysis of the study referring to the occupational safety and health (K3) of hand grinders in the fabrication industry at PT. XYZ shows that there are still many activities that can pose dangerous risks. The solution is to redesign K3 management at PT. XYZ by conducting socialization of the dangers of work accidents and conducting direct and continuous supervision of workers about the importance of using personal protective equipment. So that in the future it is expected to increase productivity in the fabrication industry at PT. XYZ.

Abstract

Rivania Muslim Store is a garment company that focuses on producing Muslim clothing, this company faces operational risks that can affect the smooth running of its business. This study aims to analyze operational risks using the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) approach to identify, assess and manage the risks faced by the company. This data was obtained from interviews with business owners and analysis of supporting documents. The results of the study identified five main risks, namely computer errors, production errors, lack of machine maintenance, machine damage during production, and limited labor. These risks are described based on their severity, high risks such as computer errors, lack of machine maintenance and product defects that impact the company's operations.

Abstract

The wooden batik production process at Sanggar Peni Krebet supports the preservation of local culture and economy, but workers face the risk of musculoskeletal disorders due to unergonomic working positions. Based on the NBM questionnaire on 15 workers, the highest complaints occurred in the right upper arm (100%), right wrist (100%), and waist (88%). Analysis with the RULA and REBA methods showed that the batik activity is very high risk (RULA 7, REBA 11), requiring immediate improvement, while boiling has moderate to high risk (RULA 5, REBA 9), requiring investigation. Ergonomics Facility Design (EFD) recommends redesigning the boiling stove, chair, and table to suit body posture, ergonomic working position, and a strainer with comfort grip. The tool design should improve comfort, safety, and efficiency, using lightweight and strong materials. This implementation is expected to improve safety and productivity in the batik industry.

Abstract

The implementation of a construction project anywhere and in any form will never be free from risks, whether small-scale or large-scale risks. The smaller the potential risk, the more profitable the project will be, both in terms of costs and construction implementation. The larger the scale of a project, the greater the potential risks that arise which, if not handled properly, will hamper project implementation. One of the projects that was used as the object of study was the Implementation of the PKK, Dekranasda and UMKM Center Office Building Project for Makassar City. This project has a risk of delays so risk management analysis will be carried out with a formulation to obtain mitigation that suits the needs of the workplace. Data collection was carried out by identifying factors from previous research, a preliminary survey was carried out to determine factors that were relevant to the project conditions. After the relevant factors are distributed, a questionnaire is distributed to obtain data on the object's perception of the factors in the questionnaire. So the collected data is processed and analyzed using the SPSS 25 application using logistic regression analysis. The results of research using logistic regression analysis show is one main factor that influences the risk of delays in project work, namely schedule preparation. If the schedule preparation factors are carried out poorly then the chance of delays is 74.95%.

Abstract

The construction project of the PKK Office Building, Dekranasda, and UMKM Center in Makassar City has a strategic role in supporting economic growth and improving public services. The purpose of this study was to analyze the productivity of heavy equipment used in this work. The results showed that the excavator and mobile crane heavy equipment in the 8th year, the truck mixer in the 5th year, while the dump truck and concrete pump in the 4th year, each had a value smaller than per year. Productivity analysis showed that the Komatsu PC 200 Excavator heavy equipment had a total cycle time of 11 minutes, the 4 m³ type Dump Truck was more efficient with a cycle time of 5.6 minutes compared to the 8 m³ type, and the XCMG QY25K Mobile Crane showed high efficiency with a total cycle time of 3.124 minutes. Meanwhile, the Truck Mixer had the longest cycle time, which was 136.7 minutes, so it requires better time management

Abstract

The problem of baby diapers waste is currently an environmental issue globally. Especially in big cities, one of which is the city of Surabaya. Because diapers waste is difficult to decompose naturally, it requires innovative and sustainable management optimization. By implementing circular economy programs through the Diapers Waste Bank and non-governmental organizations, it is hoped that it will be able to reduce the pile of diapers waste and improve the economic welfare of the local community. This study aims to predict the reduction of diapers waste piles and the economic value of diapers waste within a period of 13 years, Data from 2020 to 2033 by optimizing the effectiveness of the Waste Bank and involving community participation in recycling programs and as customers. With a dynamic system modeling approach, it is known that the increase in diapers waste reduction in 2033 will be able to reach 1,2085.68 tons with an initial value of 64.98 tons with an effectiveness rate of 57% and a customer growth rate of 45% and an economic value of around 10 billion rupiah. If the optimization reaches 80%, it can achieve the zero waste target.
