Abstract

This study is motivated by the suboptimal management of educational services in madrasahs in meeting student satisfaction, as indicated by the gap between provided services and student expectations, particularly in administrative services, facilities, and service evaluation. The study aims to analyze educational service management in improving student satisfaction at MAN 3 Pekanbaru, covering planning, implementation, evaluation, and the level of student satisfaction. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method using observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation techniques. Data analysis applies to an interactive model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that service planning is systematic but still top-down, implementation is adequate in learning but weak in administrative and technological aspects, evaluation is not yet based on systematic student satisfaction measurement, and student satisfaction is relatively high in teacher interaction but low in administrative services and facilities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of training and human resource development in improving teacher quality at SMA Negeri 10 Muaro Jambi. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data was analyzed using reduction, display, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings reveal that training and development programs are implemented through qualification, certification, and Subject Teacher Forum (MGMP), supported by seminars, workshops, and technical training. These programs contribute to enhancing teachers’ pedagogical, professional, social, and personal competencies. The impact is reflected in improved teaching quality and increased stakeholder participation. This study highlights that systematic and sustainable training management is a key strategy in improving educational quality.

Abstract

Persaingan antar lembaga pendidikan di era digital menuntut setiap sekolah untuk merumuskan strategi pemasaran yang adaptif dan efektif dalam menarik minat masyarakat. Namun demikian, masih terdapat sejumlah sekolah yang belum mampu mengoptimalkan strategi diferensiasi pemasaran, sehingga kesulitan dalam membangun daya saing dan citra yang kuat di tengah masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji strategi diferensiasi pemasaran sekolah dalam meningkatkan minat masyarakat di SMK Negeri 1 Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi, yang kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi diferensiasi pemasaran diwujudkan melalui penguatan program unggulan yang selaras dengan kebutuhan dunia kerja, optimalisasi media digital sebagai sarana promosi, serta peningkatan mutu layanan pendidikan. Ketiga strategi tersebut terintegrasi secara sistematis dalam membangun citra positif sekolah sekaligus meningkatkan minat masyarakat. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa keberhasilan pemasaran pendidikan tidak semata ditentukan oleh aktivitas promosi, tetapi juga oleh kualitas program dan layanan yang responsif terhadap kebutuhan masyarakat secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the talaqqi method in Qur’anic extracurricular activities and to examine its effectiveness in improving students’ reading fluency. The research was conducted at MI Thoriqotul Hasan, involving the principal, supervising teacher, and students as research subjects. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the implementation of the talaqqi method is carried out systematically through planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. The method has a positive impact on students’ Qur’anic reading ability, as evidenced by improvements in reading fluency, accuracy of makhraj (articulation of letters), and understanding as well as application of tajwid rules. Additionally, students demonstrate increased confidence and learning motivation. Through direct interaction between teacher and students and immediate corrective feedback, the talaqqi method proves to be effective in enhancing the quality of Qur’anic learning. Despite challenges such as varying initial student abilities and limited instructional time, the method remains relevant and feasible to be further developed as a learning strategy in Islamic educational extracurricular programs.

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively examine public relations (PR) strategies in building and strengthening a positive institutional image through the optimization of social media at Special School (SLB) Prof. Dr. Sri Soedewi Masjchun Sofwan, S.H. Jambi. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, the research focuses on PR strategic practices in responding to communication transformation in the digital era. The utilization of social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube has reshaped communication patterns into more open, interactive, and professional forms. The findings reveal that PR strategies are implemented through four primary roles: as a communicator, a relationship builder, a management support function (back-up management), and an image creator (good image maker). These roles significantly contribute to enhancing public trust and strengthening institutional reputation. This study is expected to contribute both theoretically and practically to the development of public relations strategies, particularly within special education institutions in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the problems in Arabic language learning and to formulate strategies for addressing them in class 5A of MIN 6 Sukoharjo. The research employed a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design to gain an in-depth understanding of the experiences of teachers and students. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving the principal, teachers, homeroom teacher, and students as informants. The findings reveal that although the learning process has been implemented according to instructional stages, it still faces complex and multidimensional challenges. From the teachers’ perspective, the limited number of teaching staff results in a heavy workload, compounded using conventional and less innovative teaching methods. From the students’ perspective, low learning motivation, diverse initial abilities, and difficulties in understanding and memorizing materials constitute major obstacles. This is reflected in the low academic achievement, with most students not meeting the minimum competency criteria. Other contributing factors include dense and less contextual learning materials, limited instructional time, large class sizes, and insufficient learning facilities. External factors, particularly the low level of parental involvement, further affect the learning process. Efforts to address these issues include enhancing teacher competence, implementing varied and communicative teaching methods, increasing student motivation, simplifying and contextualizing learning materials, and strengthening collaboration between schools and parents.

Abstract

This study aims to reconstruct education quality policy in Indonesia by employing a meta-leadership approach as a strategic response to increasing global competitiveness amid technological disruption. The primary challenge lies in persistent policy fragmentation, particularly within cross-ministerial governance structures that operate under differing mandates and interests. This condition hinders the integration of digital transformation, the strengthening of character education, and the development of future-oriented skills. This study adopts a systematic literature review method using the PRISMA protocol to synthesize relevant literature on education policy, leadership, and digital transformation. The findings reveal that conventional leadership approaches are insufficient to address the complexity of policy management involving multiple actors and sectors. In this context, meta-leadership functions as an integrative mechanism by enhancing cross-ministerial coordination to align policies, reduce fragmentation, and improve implementation effectiveness. Furthermore, this study proposes a conceptual model of education quality policy that is integrative, adaptive, and collaborative.

Abstract

Basic education is a strategic foundation for human resource development and a fundamental right of every Indonesian citizen as mandated by the 1945 Constitution. The development of basic education policies in Indonesia is directed toward improving access, equity, learning quality, and educational relevance to social dynamics and contemporary challenges. This article aims to describe basic education development policies in Indonesia, analyze their implementation, and identify challenges and development strategies. This study employs a qualitative approach using the library research method. Data was collected through documentation studies of regulations, scientific literature, and relevant research findings, then analyzed descriptively. The findings indicate that policy implementation has been carried out through various strategic programs, including the compulsory nine-year education policy extended toward thirteen years, implementation of National Education Standards, development of the Independent Curriculum, equalization of educational access, strengthening educational governance, and improving teacher competencies. These policies have positively contributed to increasing participation in basic education. However, implementation still faces challenges such as disparities in educational quality across regions, limited infrastructure, low digital literacy, and uneven teacher distribution. Therefore, evidence-based policy strengthening, equitable educational facilities, continuous teacher competency development, and multi-stakeholder collaboration are essential to achieve quality and inclusive basic education in Indonesia.
