Abstract

ABSTRACT (Inggris) This research discusses the importance of developing multicultural and pluralistic curricula in Islamic religious education to address challenges in today's ethnically, culturally, and religiously diverse society. Using a qualitative methodology with a literature-based approach, the study emphasizes education's vital role in character formation, particularly in building tolerance and coexistence among different religious adherents. The study notes a shift from a one-size-fits-all religious education approach toward an inclusive curriculum that incorporates different religious education curriculum models, fostering mutual respect among students of different faiths. This transition suggests several curriculum reform strategies: how educators, curriculum developers, and stakeholders can collaborate to design an environment that values diversity and enables positive engagement among students from various backgrounds. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the design, implementation, evaluation and follow-up of the implementation of environmentally friendly education in the formation of children's character and to explain the implementation model of environmentally friendly education in the formation of children's character at SMPN 1 Darul Aman. Then the method that the author uses uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the type of analysis descriptive research then in collecting data the authors use the instrument of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study include planning for environmentally friendly education programs in shaping the character of children at SMPN 1 Darul Aman starting with the formation of a school team, preparing a school environmental study, and preparing an environmental action plan that aims to shape the character of environmental care in students. The implementation of the program begins by providing socialization to all school residents guided by the implementation of environmentally sound policies, implementation of an environment-based curriculum, and the implementation of environmental activities. In addition, the implementation of the program is pursued through a habituation approach that creates habits or behavior for all school members in terms of automatic environmental care and maintenance and continues. Evaluation of environmentally friendly education programs in the formation of children's character at SMPN 1 Darul Aman can be seen from the attitudes and behavior of all school members in daily activities that have been carried out properly according to standards and plans that have been prepared and various programs so as to foster attitudes and daily behavior of residents the school has reflected the behavior of caring for the environment. Then the model or form of implementing environmentally friendly education in shaping the character of children at SMPN 1 Darul Aman is implemented in the form of active participation by all school members and has been going well and has provided benefits to school residents by creating a generation that cares about the environment. With this environmentally friendly education program, it is also hoped that students will be able to apply environmental care behavior in everyday life wherever they are as a form of embodiment of character or caring attitude towards the environment. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of religious tourism visits to the graves of Islamic figures in Aceh, particularly in Peureulak, on students' understanding of the history of Islamic education. The method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and questionnaires filled out by students after the visit. The results indicate that this visit significantly enhances students' interest in learning and their understanding of the history of Islamic education. Students reported profound spiritual and educational experiences, contributing to their awareness of the importance of Islamic education history within the cultural context of Aceh. Direct interaction with historical sites provides new perspectives, strengthening the connection between the theories learned in class and real-life practices. This research concludes that religious tourism can be an effective method for improving students' understanding of the history of Islamic education. It is hoped that these findings will encourage the integration of religious tourism experiences into the educational curriculum, enriching the learning process and inspiring the development of similar programs in other educational institutions to enhance the quality of education based on local cultural contexts.

Abstract

Eksistensi teologi Qadariyah dan Jabariyah dalam sejarah dan pemikiran pendidikan Islam klasik sangat penting diteliti. Sebab, tema ini merupakan tema sentris dalam sejarah dan pemikiran pendidikan Islam. Artikel ini mengangkat tema ini karena tidak ditemukan penelitian yang secara spesifik membahas eksistensi teologi Qadariyah dan Jabariyah dalam sejarah dan pemikiran pendidikan Islam klasik. Metode yang digunakan dalam artikel ini menggunakan studi literatur. Data-data tersebut dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif-interpretatif. Artikel ini menemukan bahwa kedua aliran teologi, baik Qadariyah maupun Jabariyah berperan secara eksis dalam sejarah dan pemikiran pendidikan Islam klasik, tetapi porsi keduanya tidak sebanyak aliran Asy’ariyah dan Maturidiyah, meskipun jika dibandingkan dengan Jabariyah, Qadariyah porsinya lebih signifikan.

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) develop Moral Card Media in PAI learning for class VIII students at SMPN 1 Rantau Selamat, East Aceh Regency. The results of this development are feasible and good to use, (2) To determine the level of feasibility and practicality of this Moral Card media in PAI learning at SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Selamat, East Aceh Regency. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method and the model used in the Moral Card media development process uses the ADDIE development model through 5 stages including (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, ( 5) Evaluation. The subjects of this research include lecturers who are media experts and material experts, as well as class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Selamat and also PAI subject teachers. The research object is moral cards in PAI learning. The instruments used to assess the suitability of the moral card include an assessment sheet for the suitability of material experts and media experts, and a practicality assessment sheet in the form of a questionnaire on PAI student and teacher responses to the moral card. Feasibility testing was carried out by two teams of experts, namely, media experts and material experts, the results were tested for practicality on class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Selamat. The results of the feasibility study showed that the media expert validation was 93%, the material expert was 89.47%, and the practicality test on class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Selamat got an average of 86.18%, and the teacher response was 95%. Therefore, this research succeeded in developing learning media in the form of digital-based Moral Cards in PAI learning in the material CHAPTER 7 Believing in the Prophets and Apostles of Allah to be a Digital Generation with Character that is suitable and practical to use as independent teaching material for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Selamat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji perbedaan perspektif antara Islam dan Barat dalam memandang ilmu humaniora dan keagamaan yang menjadi tantangan sekaligus peluang dalam merespons kompleksitas masyarakat global saat ini. Dengan menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR), studi ini menelaah 10 artikel terpilih dari 200 literatur awal yang disaring melalui tahapan identifikasi, screening, inklusi, hingga peninjauan penuh. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa perspektif Barat yang cenderung rasional, empiris, dan sekuler, dapat bersanding dan dikombinasikan dengan pendekatan Islam yang berbasis nilai spiritual, etika, dan wahyu. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan pentingnya integrasi pendekatan interdisipliner dan transdisipliner untuk membangun dialog antarbudaya dan keagamaan yang harmonis, serta menegaskan peran ilmu humaniora dan agama sebagai penghubung etis dalam membentuk kohesi sosial di tengah tantangan globalisasi dan teknologi. Studi ini menawarkan kontribusi praktis terhadap pengembangan pendidikan dan kebijakan sosial berbasis nilai-nilai moderasi dan keberagaman.

Abstract

Islamic education is oriented towards the formation of a perfect human being, a person who is balanced in spiritual, intellectual, and moral aspects. In the process of achieving this goal, the environment plays a very strategic role. The Islamic educational environment is not only limited to formal institutions, but also includes the family environment, society, and even the natural environment as a learning medium. This study aims to identify the role and contribution of each type of educational environment in supporting the formation of student character based on Islamic values. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method, reviewing various classical and contemporary literature related to Islamic education and environmental theory. The results of the study indicate that the family environment serves as the initial foundation in instilling faith and morals, the school environment or Islamic boarding school as a formal education system plays a role in intellectual development and spiritual skills, the community environment functions as a socio-religious reinforcement, while the natural environment encourages students to engage in contemplation and tadabbur as part of strengthening spirituality. The synergy between these four environments is crucial to forming students who are not only academically intelligent, but also faithful, pious, and have noble character. Therefore, the development of an ideal Islamic education system must consider holistic integration between environments. Keyword: Islamic Education, Educational Environment, Character, Students.

Abstract

Currently, many teenagers rarely follow the rules of the Quran and Hadith. They often neglect gadgets and play games. Many teenagers have also started dating, forgetting the sin of excessive dating. Their behavior and actions often go beyond Islamic law and the laws in Indonesia, particularly in Aceh. Many teenagers engage in premarital sex, premarital pregnancy, drug use, brawls, and even murder of their teachers or those around them. Adolescence is a time of intense attention seeking, especially from those closest to you. This attention requires guidance and direction from the right people to prevent undesirable outcomes. The Acehnese traditional council's role in this regard is crucial, including the implementation of the Sumang Opat book to prevent juvenile delinquency in Bener Meriah Regency. This study used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. This study aims to determine the implementation of the Sumang Opat book by the Acehnese traditional council in preventing juvenile delinquency in Bener Meriah Regency. The results of this study indicate that the implementation carried out by the Acehnese traditional council in Bener Meriah Regency using the Sumang Opat book in preventing juvenile delinquency has been quite good through various activities such as outreach among the community, schools and conducting seminars or becoming a director in a training or FGD.

Abstract

Education is a process of character building that emphasises not only the transfer of knowledge, but also ethical values in the interaction between teachers and students. In the tradition of Islamic education, Al-Zarnuji's book Ta'lim al-Muta'allim is an important reference that emphasises the importance of manners and ethical communication in the teaching and learning process. This study aims to examine the concept of communication ethics between teachers and students as described by Al-Zarnuji in the book, as well as its relevance to the context of modern education. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a literature study approach, without involving interviews or direct observation. The main source of this study is the book Ta'lim al-Muta'allim, supported by other scientific literature. The results show that Al-Zarnuji emphasises the importance of respect, humility, patience, and sincerity in communication between teachers and students. These principles are still relevant to be applied in today's world of education, especially in shaping student character and maintaining the quality of educational relationships in the digital age.
