Aphorisme is a journal of Arabic Language, Literature, and Education. Its journal exists to accommodate contemporary issues related to Arabic Linguistics, Arabic Literature, and Arabic Learning written by lecturers, researchers, students, artists, writers, and practitioners in the fields of Arabic Language and Literature. The language focus published in this journal are Arabic, English, or Indonesian. This journal is published by the Study Program of Arabic Language Teaching Faculty of Tarbiyah INSURI twice a year (January-July). It has got both P-ISSN 2722-6786 and E-ISSN 2722-6794.

Abstract

This research explores one of the branches of science in semantics, namely Tadhad in the Arabic Language (Antonym). It also explains the various contradictions in Surah Ar-Rum and their classification based on the meanings that some interpreters interpreted in its verses. This type of research is qualitative research using a literature research approach. The data used in this study are antonym forms based on the perspective of Muhammad Ali Al-Khuli with the research data source, namely Surah ar-Rum. The data analysis technique that researchers use is in the form of documentation using content analysis. Researchers use this method to assist in achieving research goals. The result of this research is that there are nine types of antonyms. The antonymy words contained in Surah Ar-Rum amount to 17 verses. Of the 9 kinds of antonyms that exist, in these verses there are 4 kinds of antonyms, namely, Ungradable Antonym is found in verses 7, 19, 24, and 41, and Gradable Antonym is found in verses 8, 22, 25, 26, 36 and 54, Converseness Antonym is found in verses 6, 17, 23, 29 and 40, then the last one is Affinity Antonym contained in verse 18.

Abstract

This research aims to explore and explain the evaluation of Arabic language listening skills tests based on Bloom's Taxonomy, primarily focusing on utilizing the 'al-Arabiya Baina Yadaik' books in the first two volumes. This study utilizes a qualitative approach, specifically a descriptive analytical method, when the data is derived from literary sources. The primary focus of the data is 'Al-Arabiya Baina Yadaik Volumes 1 and 2, the books that serve as the focal point of analysis to understand content related to listening skills in Arabic. The data was obtained through an in-depth study of the content of 'Al-Arabiya Baina Yadaik books. The data collection method involves a comprehensive analysis of the text to identify question structures and difficulty levels according to Bloom's taxonomy. The analysis results indicate that listening skills tests based on Bloom's taxonomy, 'al-Arabiya Baina Yadaik' Volumes 1 and 2, suit beginner learners. In Volume 1, the remembering level (C1) has five types of test questions (33%), while the understanding level (C2) has 11 types (67%). In Volume 2, Remembering (C1) has one question (10%), Understanding (C2) has five questions (50%), Analysis (C4) has two questions (20%), and Evaluation (C6) has two questions (20%). This research contributes significantly to developing Arabic language listening skills tests and offers valuable guidance for educators in selecting appropriate teaching materials.

Abstract

This research is an effort to improve fiqh learning using the probing prompting learning model to increase effectiveness in the learning system at the vocational school level. Through this approach students can develop a deep understanding of fiqh concepts more interactively and reflectively. Students need to understand religious concepts more maturely at the vocational school level. This study used an experimental research method consisting of an experimental class and a control class with the technique of collecting learning outcomes using an instrument test in the form of a Posttest only and the analysis used is Mann Whitney to analyze ordinal data which may be relevant in the context of driving questions and student responses which can be measured ordinally or qualitatively, to differentiate student responses between groups that use probing prompting and the control group, which produces asymp.sig <0.05, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Then the results obtained by the researchers used the Mann-Whitney test with SPSS 25, namely 0.00 <0.05, which means that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted that it can be concluded that the Probing Prompting Learning learning model is effective for class X student learning outcomes at SMK Muhamadiyah Sambungmacan, Central Java.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the semantics meaning and interpretation of the word al-khair according to Wahbah az-Zuhaili. This study uses a type of library research, where the discussion and interpretation of the verses of the Qur'an are studied from books and library documentation which has an object according to the study's title. The research method used is descriptive to collect comprehensive data on the data needed by the author, then compile it using primary and secondary data. The method of analysis is by analyzing and drawing conclusions and the values ​​obtained after studying the verses of al-khair according to Wahbah az-Zuhaili. The result of the analysis semantics of al-khair words in terms of the Qur’an says that its action in the world is all good deeds between the servant and His Lord. At times, the term 'al-khair' in the Quran means all the worldly benefits that people desire.Then, it is followed by the meaning of reward, indicating the rewards from Allah. Other times, the term 'al-khair' comes with the meaning of one of the blessings in this world, and blessings refer to the rewards in the Hereafter.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the application of the direct method in the Arabic Camp program at MI PAS Baitul Qur'an Gontor. This research uses descriptive qualitative research, and case study data to implement direct methods in the "Arabic Camp" program. Research data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation of data sources in research. The data taken comes from teacher interviews, exam documentation scores, and other related documentation using the Miles and Huberman model data analysis techniques. The research results show that applying direct methods in the Arabic Camp program can improve students' language skills. Because, during this program the participants are accustomed to listening and using Arabic both during learning and in other activities. Apart from that, some problems arise from factors such as students, teaching staff, or time/atmosphere in the Arabic camp program. From this it can be concluded that the direct method applied at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah is under child development theory which is aligned with children's language learning abilities, which is said to be the same as a mother teaching her child their first language.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the method of metonymy included in Surat An-Nisa so that the researcher noticed that one of the holy Qur’an’s surah, Surah An-Nisa, is full of the provisions of Sharia law. It organizes the internal and external lives of Muslims, and talks about important matters related to women, the home, and the family, but most of the provisions discuss women’s issues and then explain the husband‘s rights over her husband and vice versa. Also, from the standpoint of rhetoric, this surah is full of the style of metonymy, which should be left out of the politeness of human feelings and moral matters, as most of what this surah explained are the matters of the family and women. The researcher wanted to identify the style of metonymy in Surat An-Nisa and its benefit in developing moral values among female students at the university. The method of completion of this research was on the analytical descriptive approach, the way for the researcher to analyze the method of the metaphor in Surah an-Nisa with the extraction of the hidden meaning of the rhetorical and ethical response to each method and the current research has proved that the method of the metaphor in surah an-Nisa of verse 1 to 107 contained fifty examples of the metaphor. This proved that the meanings of the verses showed the greatness of Allah’s power, the relation with justice, the relation with the characteristics of the ummah, and some words that we can’t mention, the metaphor contained in Surah an-Nisa verses 1 to 107 had its significant effect in the development of moral values ​​among students at the University of Ar-Raayah.

Abstract

This study aims to explain increased student learning outcomes and activeness by applying the Index Card Match strategy to the Nahwu lessons. This research is called Classroom Action Research. This research was carried out twice with four steps: planning, preparation for teaching in class, implementation of the teaching process in class, observation of students' conditions, and reflection by researchers to analyze the results of observations. The research location is the Al-Khair Ponorogo Modern Islamic Boarding School in class 2, with 20 students. In collecting data, researchers interviewed school principals and teachers to obtain information regarding student and school conditions. In the observation, the researcher recorded the conditions before and after implementation. In tests prepared by teachers related to nahwu. The data analysis used is quantitative and qualitative. The results of this study show that student learning outcomes increased by 20%. And increase student activity with a ratio of 12.5% ​​increase in student activity.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the results of a survey of researchers at the Islamic boarding school Majlis Tafsir Al-Quran Mojogedang, which applies the Kuliiyatul mu'alliminal Islamiyah (KMI) system, which requires students to discipline in official languages combined with the philosophy of the "Compassion" approach in formal and non-formal teaching and learning processes. This study aims to describe the pattern of the "Compassion" approach in Arabic learning in this cottage. Descriptive qualitative research with field research methods is used to achieve this goal. The subjects in this study were lodge leaders, KMI directors, teachers' Language Section (LAC), santri Language Section (CLI). Data is collected through observations, interviews, and documentation after the data is obtained, analyzed, and conclusions are drawn. The conclusion drawn from this study is that the Compassion Approach in language learning has been the foundation since the beginning of the Language learning system, starting from Planning, Organizing, Actuating, controlling, and Evaluating, the formation of a mature language system is the love of the lodge towards the students represented by the entire Language Advisory Board. Language activities such as Ilqa al-Mufrodāt, Muḥādaśah, Muḥādarah, Language Court, and Language Extracurricular Activities have become a means of "affection" for students in MTA Islamic boarding schools where these activities there is a pattern of compassion education patterns that have been arranged in such a way as responsibility, example, and non-violence.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the differences in phrases between the Koran and Arabic in linguistic and literary contexts. The method used is a comparative analysis of phrase structures in the two languages, by reviewing aspects of syntax, semantics and pragmatics. The research results show that although the Koranic language has the same roots as Arabic, its use has its own characteristics that reflect the beauty and excellence of the Koranic literature. There are 17 differences found between these two languages including the use of words, sentence patterns and language conventions that are unique to the language of the Koran. It is hoped that this research will provide a deeper understanding of the language of the Koran as well as contribute to the study of Arabic linguistics and literature in general.

Abstract

This research is to (1) describe the application of the curriculum for teaching speaking skills in the Arabic language teaching book for the second intermediate grade of the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs in 2020. (2) to describe the advantages and disadvantages of the curriculum for teaching speaking skills in the Arabic language teaching book for the second intermediate grade. (3) knowing how to analyze the curriculum for teaching speaking skills in the book on teaching the Arabic language for the second intermediate grade. This research is based on descriptive analysis methods. This research indicates that the book's approach to teaching speaking skills includes four elements: objectives, content, teaching methods, and evaluation. Data collection techniques used in this research include the collection of data sources, data collection, data analysis, and interpretation of results. As a consequence of this study, the book's speaking skill teaching methodology consists of four components: objectives, content, teaching strategies, and evaluation. These are the outcomes of the examination of the book's speaking skills training method: that the information is acceptable based on the criteria of excellent content, the listening, speaking, reading, and writing abilities are presented in a good order, Data analysis techniques used in this research: Data limitations, data display, and conclusions, and the core and fundamental competencies meet the requirements of good competence. With a disclaimer that neither at the middle nor after the semester does this book assess speaking abilities due to its usage of an intermediate language.
