Abstract

Hypertension is a deadly killer without symptoms if it doesn't get proper treatment, it is commonly referred to as a silent killer. The prevalence of hypertension in South Sumatra is very high, with the 4th highest incidence on the island of Sumatra. The health problem in OKU Regency with the top number of the top 10 types of diseases is hypertension. The partner problem from the results of the preliminary study is that the delivery of hypertension treatment services, Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) prevention service activities, and the provision of information/education are not yet optimal. The achievement of capacity-building activities for health extension workers was only 35% in 2019 in the Sekarjaya Village area. The results of interviews with health cadres obtained data that there was a lack of capacity building for health cadres in carrying out Integrated Development Post (POSBINDU) activities. The solution carried out by the service team is the development of health cadres with training and field assistance for the implementation of the Integrated Development Post (POSBINDU). The methods used are lectures, discussions, questions and answers, demonstrations, and demonstrations. Another activity is assisting the implementation of the Integrated Development Post (POSBINDU) in the UPTD Sekarjaya Health Center assisted area. The activity was attended by 30 cadres selected by village heads representing 6 (six) villages. The results of program implementation were an increase in cadres' knowledge of 27.5%, an increase in skills of 17.9% from the results of the pre and post-tests on cadres, and an increase in community visits to the BINDU Post by 92% at the end of the activity.

Abstract

Development of Curcuma Caesia (Black Turmeric) Cultivation as a Local Superior Traditional Medicinal Plant which was carried out in Kekuyang Village, Ketol District, Central Aceh Regency. Our motivation for carrying out this activity, based on the search results, found a lack of understanding of community literacy regarding traditional medicinal plants that can be used as income, namely black turmeric, the minimum amount of fertilizer available, the number of farmers, the number of pesticides and the number of seeds also affect the productivity of black turmeric, in addition to land use which can be used as a location for the biodiversity of medicinal plants has not yet been found. It is hoped that the purpose of this service can provide community understanding regarding the mapping of the biodiversity of local superior traditional medicinal plants, provide public understanding of the benefits and efficacy of black turmeric as a traditional medicinal plant, then form conservation groups, carry out conservation by cultivating rare medicinal plants throughout the region so that the area has a branding as a center for the conservation of medicinal plant biodiversity and makes the conservation center a center for medicinal plant education with a conservation group as the main tutor as well as a center for the medicinal plant business. The implementation method is by way of roadmap mapping, carrying out the stages of activities starting from identifying needs, briefly describing the target audience, planning forms of intervention, establishing partnerships with parties outside the village, mapping success, and measuring and implementing the program. The results of the activity show that the great potential that Kekuyang Village has to expand black turmeric production is supported by the condition of the fertile area, the participation of farmers, and also the support of residents and village apparatus in this program which is very responsive and supported by Reje (village head) to advance the area by introducing all over the world and also accepting all forms of investment in potential agriculture.

The high number of Covid-19 cases in Medan city also had an impact on the delay in Integrated Healthcare Center (IHC) activities, routined monthly activities, that are managed and organized from, by, for, and with the community in the implementation of health development. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of IHC during the pandemic in Tegal Rejo Village of Medan Perjuangan Subdistrict in 2021. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis methods. Key informants in this study were 3 Cadres of IHC and triangulation informants used for validity were 2 Village Midwives in the local sub-district. The result of this research is that Cadres of IHC already know what their duties are and have done socialization, but only to mothers and the elderly who come to the integrated healthcare center. The conclusion is that there is no change in the IHC schedule during the Covid-19 pandemic, socialization is given to mothers and the elderly who come to the IHC, but it has not been given to the general public. Facilities and implementation of IHC during the pandemic are by health protocols such as washing hands, and using masks and hand sanitizers for integrated healthcare center employees.

Abstract

Development planning is a stage of activities organized by the village government by involving the community in the utilization and allocation of village resources in order to improve the quality of human life. The direction of village development must be oriented towards increasing the welfare of the village community and based on the applicable laws and regulations. The preparation of development planning documents must contain the aspirations of the village community and be in accordance with village conditions. The problem that occurs in Ulak Kembahang II Village is that they still do not understand the importance of preparing the RKPDes (Village Government Work Plan) and APBDes (Village Budget) due to limited information, level of knowledge, and skills in compiling these documents. Therefore, the purpose of this community service activity is to carry out mentoring and training for village officials and elements of the village community in order to increase knowledge and skills in the process of preparing the RKPDes and APBDes documents and be able to compile these documents independently and actively participate in accordance with laws and regulations applicable. The results of the evaluation of this community service activity showed an increase in understanding and knowledge about the mechanism for preparing the RKPDes and APBDes documents by 28 community service participants consisting of village officials, community elements, youth organizations, BPD, BUMDes management, and PKK administrators with an average level of understanding an average of 86.4 percent.

Abstract

Mamaca is a tradition of the Madurese community in the form of reading texts in the form of poetry by singing them so that mamaca must use beautiful or archaic language. The stories in the Mamaca text come from babad stories, stories of prophets, stories of historical figures, as well as stories taken from fictional stories or figures that are filled with petotor or advice. Based on the various contents of the text, making mamaca is very important for strengthening the character of young people, one of them in Situbondo. Mamaca is one of the intangible inheritances (WTB) in Situbondo. The problem that then arises is the difficulty of regenerating the mamaca tradition. Through the piloting of the Mamaca School in the Arjasa Situbondo District, it is hoped that the Mamaca tradition will continue to grow rapidly among the younger generation. With the acceptance of the mamaca tradition in the younger generation, it is hoped that character education can be carried out through this tradition.

Abstract

The purpose of holding this community service is to facilitate understanding and solving a little problem experienced by MSMEs in general and Exotic Dieng MSMEs in particular. The concern of this community service is the calculation of the Cost of Goods Manufactured for products that are quite popular with domestic and foreign tourists. The method used in accompanying the calculation of the cost of goods manufactured is the Full Costing method with the addition of the Joint cost allocation method, this is done because these MSMEs still combine production costs, cannot separate various types of costs, and have not understood the importance of allocation to joint costs incurred so that the cost of goods mentioned is only a range without a certainty. The results obtained about the cost of goods of candied Carica cup packaging and glass bottle packaging are Rp. 1,333.28 and Rp. 7,204.51, respectively. With the use of the full costing method in determining the cost of goods manufactured and the joint cost allocation method, it is clear the number of production costs obtained. Although the results obtained are smaller than the range stated by the owner of this MSME, we are of the view that there should still be a review of the calculations that have been obtained at least once a year, this is a form of vigilance or beware of inflation, especially in raw material.

Abstract

The radicalism of terrorism in Indonesia is increasingly seen as dangerous. The incident of self-bombing in a Christian house of worship in 2018 in East Java involving four children who were still at school is clear evidence of the resurgence of terrorism. The highlight is that the child was still at the primary stratum level. This service has the aim of participating in solving this problem using a form of service too early Islamic education forums, namely the Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPA) using the theory of religious moderation as a basis. The program on the agenda is teaching and learning activities at the TPA. With the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method lasting for one month, namely February to March 2020, the activity concludes that the activities carried out can create a moderate religious understanding of TPA residents, or at the very least, can strengthen religious moderation. Raising awareness that loving the motherland is a must and an obligation as enlightenment regarding acts of radicalism and terrorism is a heinous thing. Apart from this, the servant is aware that there is much that must be done in making changes toward moderation.
