Jurnal Natural Science ini memuat artikel yang membahas aspek pendidikan Fisika, metode, model pembelajaran IPA Fisika, inovasi-inovasi pembelajaran, perangkat pembelajaran, dan aspek fisika murni. Tim redaksi menerima artikel ilmiah dari hasil penelitian, laporan studikasus, kajian dan tinjauan pustaka. Terbitnya jurnal pendidikan ini menjadikan suatu indikator bahwa prodi Tadris IPA Fisika sangat peduli terhadap perkembangan dan inovasi-inovasi pada bidang sains terutama pendidikan Fisika. Selain itu adanya Jurnal Natural Science menunjukkan bahwa para dosen Tadris IPA Fisika sudah membudayakan meneliti dan mempublikasikan hasil penelitian. Jurnal studi pendidikan fisika juga mengajak pihak lain berpartisipasi dalam penerbitan jurnal baik universitas local maupun tingkat nasional dan bahkan internasional. Abstract

Fisika merupakan salah satu ilmu alam yang penting untuk dipelajari. Agar fisika lebih mudah dipahami oleh siswa maka diperlukan media pembelajaran fisika yang cocok dengan materi yang akan dibahas dan juga melalui praktikum. Media pembelajaran fisika berupa alat peraga dapat dirancang dengan memanfaatkaan arduino sebagai pemrosesnya. Bagian penting pada arduino yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam perancangan media pembelajaran fisika adalah timer, counter, interupsi timer dan ADC. Dengan timer dan interupsi timer dapat dirancang timer digital yang membatu dapat menjelaskan materi yang berhubungan dengan gerak. Dengan memanfaatkan adc 10 bit dari arduino ditambah dengan sensor sensor digital maka akan dihasilkan alat alat ukur digital yang otomatis dan menunjang dalam media pembelajaran fisika berupa praktikum nantinya.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) produce practicum worksheets (LKPD) development products on science learning in Madrasah Tsanawiyah (2) produce practicum based LKPD on science learning with valid, practical and effective product quality. This research is a research and development (R & D) research with 4-D models by Thiagarajan and Sammel. The results of this study are: (1) produced practicum-based LKPD in second semester science VIII science learning. (2) the average value of product validity from all aspects 91% with a very valid category. The product practical value is 88% with a very practical category. And the average value of product effectiveness is 86% with a very effective category to increase students' interest in learning science.

Abstract

The background of this research is student understanding about natural  phenomena is quite low. Students curiousity about dinamic electricity and its relation with environment and technology, and its utilization in our daily life has not developed. One of the approximation to reach the purpose is Science Environment Technology And Social (SETS) approximation. This research purpose is to develop a valid, practice an effective high school physics learning equipments based on SETS especially on dynamic electricity. McKenny model is used as development model, consist of preliminary, prototyping stage, and assesment stage. The research showed that the handout for high school physics based on SETS can be categorized as valid, very practis, and very effective so it can be implemented on the learning process.

Abstract

An analog multimeter mechanical sensor test has been conducted on the design of the ampermeter and voltmeter.Research background of the multimeter damage found in the measuring electronic circuit has burned some of its components but did not experience damage to the mechanical sensor.The research objective is to find out how to predict the voltmeter ampermeter measurement based on the addition of resistance to the analog multimeter mechanical sensor.Based on testing  was found that the amount of electric current that can be passed by the sensor is 163.84uA and the resistance in the sensor is around 1 Kohm.When the sensor is used as a voltmeter by adding Rm in series, it can be determined the voltmeter measurement with the equation 0.1849Rm + 0.1988 (V) with an error of 1.16%.However, when the sensor is paralleled with a resistor, the ampermeter measurement can be determined by the equation 198.81 / Rs + 0.1638 with an error of 0.39%.Large resistance in the meter sensor is not the same there is a difference of 138.56 ohms.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena pendidik masih menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung dengan metode ceramah dan sesekali menggunakan media power point yang masih berpusat pada pendidik, dan sedikitnya sumber pembelajaran fisika berbentuk e-learning yang bisa diakses secara luar, kapan saja, dimana saja dan muatan materi yang sangat padat sementara waktu pembelajaran yang diberikan di dalam kelas hanya sedikit. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: 1) untuk mengembangkan e-learning berbasis inquiry terbimbing berbantuan aplikasi edmodo terhadap keterampilan abad-21 peserta didik 2) untuk menghasilkan e-learning berbasis inquiry terbimbing berbantuan aplikasi edmodo terhadap keterampilan abad-21 peserta didik yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D). Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan plomp meliputi: 1) Penelitian pendahuluan (Preliminary research), 2) pengembangan prototipe (Development of prototype phase) dan 3) Fase penilaian (Assesment phase). E-learning berbasis inquiry terbimbing berbantuan aplikasi edmodo pada materi suhu dan kalor serta termodinamika sangat valid dengan skor rata-rata 90,44% dengan persentase uji kelayakan isi sebesar 86%, kelayakan media 93,33% dan kelayakan bahasa 92%, dimana praktikalitas oleh pendidik 94,67% dan peserta didik

Abstract

The purpose of this research to know the implementation of learning mastery strategy in using visual media to give the student score are better than conventional learning. The design of this research was quasy experiment with randomized control group only design. The population of this research were all of student’s class XI - XI  MAN 1 Padang period 2016-2017. In determining experimental class and control class used cluster random sampling technique. The data was analyzed hyphotesis testing and t-test because the data was normal and the group of data has homogen varians.based on the research finding, it can be conduded that experimental class is more increase than control class. In spiritual aspect, experiment class got three criteria very good and one criteria good whereas control class got four criteria good. In social aspect, experiment class got one criteria very good and three criteria good where as control class got four criteria good. In attitude aspect, experiment class got four criteria very good whereas control class got three criteria very good and one criteria good. In cognitive aspect, experiment class still achieve mean score 79,59 where as the mean score of control class was 75,75. Based on analyzed of t-test in post test got t-calculate=1,90, where as t-table = 1,67, it means that  was rejected and  was accepted. The result of the research showed that the implementation of learning mastery strategy using visual media was better and in crease the score of student physic than conventional learning.

Abstract

Student worksheets (SWS) is one of the teaching materials that can activate learners, help find the concept and make it easier to understand the subject matter. Based on the results of observation obtained information that the teacher used the teaching materials of printed books and gita but not yet the availability of teaching materials that already contain learning steps in accordance with K-13. In response to these conditions developed teaching materials in the form of  SWS Based Guided Inquiry. The purpose of this study is the production of teaching materials in the form of SWS Based Guided Inquiry on Momentum, Impulse and Collision materials  valid, practical, and effective. This study was conducted 4-D model, define, design, develop, and disseminate. SWS Validity Test obtained value 90 % with very valid category. Practicality by 6 learner was obtained by value 89.02% with very practical category, practice by 20 learner was obtained by value 86.02% with very practical category and by teacher obtained result 89.16 % with very practical category. The effectiveness obtained result with value 92.22% with very effective category. Based on research  obtained  conclusion of SWS based guided inquiry on the material of mementum, impulse and collision valid, practical and effective.

Abstract

This analysis aims to develop learners worksheets based on Creative Problem Solving (CPS) with authentic learning to improve creative thinking skills. The steps of the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) model are 1) Understanding the challenge, 2) Generating ideas, 3) Preparing for action and 4) Planning your approach. In the learning model of Creative Problem Solving (CPS) aims to increase creative thinking skills of learners by using authentic learning. Type of research is developmental research (research and development) using a 4-D model. The research phases are define, design, development and (disseminate). One step in define phase is the learners’ analysis that is limited to creative thinking skills analysis. The respondents selected in this study are students of class X MIPA 3 which consists of 35 students which are in SMAN 2 Padang. The analytical instrument used in this study is by using a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques performed is in the form of scoring using Likert scale. For each item of statement provides 4 (four) alternative answers. Based on the analysis of data that has been done, research results can be stated, that is the average level of Creative Thinking Skills of learners is 48.6%, where 47.4% of learners are able to think fluently ( fluency ) ; 48.3% of learners are able to think flexibly ( flexibility ) ; 45% of learners are able to think originally ( originality ) ; and 53.7% learners are able to think in detail ( elaboration ). Overall, the levelof Creative Thinking Skill of learners is still in the low category. The suggested suggestion based on the result of field study is the condition of the learners is good, by using Creative Problem Solving (CPS) model, it is expected that the learners' learning result can be improved on the harmonic vibration material to improve the creative thinking skill of the learners in authentic learning contained in learners worksheets.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the need for learning media that can be used anytime and anywhere in increasing students' independence, so design learning media in the form of mobile learning-based learning media on the android platform. This study aims to (1) to develop mobile learning-based physics learning media on the android platform using the App Inventor application, (2) to produce physics learning media based on mobile learning on the android platform using the App Inventor application to improve student learning independence which is valid, practical and effective. This research uses the research and development (R & D) type of research and development, with a 4-D model starting from defining, designing, developing and disseminate stages. Media learning based on mobile learning on the android platform tested its validity by 1 linguist, 2 material experts, 2 media experts, tested practicality by 2 physics educators and 20 students and tested the effectiveness of 39 students. The instrument used was a questionnaire using a Likert Scale. The results showed that (1) the physics learning media based on mobile learning on the android platform was very valid according to 5 validators with an average value of 92.12%. (2) physics learning media based on mobile learning on the android platform is very practical in terms of content, presentation, benefits, and opportunities for the use of instructional media according to 2 physics educators with an average value of 81.25% while according to 20 students of class XI with the acquisition of scores on average 85.25% and (3) physics learning media based on mobile learning on the android platform are effectively used according to 39 students of class XI with an average value of 83.01%. Based on the results of data acquisition shows that the physics learning media based on mobile learning on the android platform can improve the learning independence of students with very valid criteria, very practical and very effective to use in XI class physics learning.

Abstract

Thesis is a scientific paper compiled by undergraduate students to complete their education. Many methods are used by students to obtain data or information in the preparation of this thesis. This form of activity is often used by students to obtain data by conducting field research. However, this type of research cannot always be carried out, especially in a co-19 pandemic emergency. Literature research is the right way to produce scientific work. But not all students are ready to do this library research. One reason is that there are no guidelines and examples they can guide to conducting this research. So the purpose of this writing is to provide guidelines for students and lecturers to carry out library research in the field of education.
