Abstract

The Student Organization Capacity Building Program (PPK Ormawa) was implemented in Jehem Village due to its significant potential for natural and cultural tourism, which remains relatively unknown to tourists due to limited promotion and digital information access. Although designated as a tourist village, the lack of technological infrastructure and information management poses a primary challenge in attracting visitors. Technological innovation was selected as a solution to enhance the village's image, as digital technology allows tourism information to be more widely accessible to potential visitors and facilitates more efficient management. This program combines observation and interview methods to identify the village's needs and potential, as well as technology diffusion and substitution methods in its activities. Community engagement involved creating a tourism website, conducting social media management training, and establishing a Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) responsible for managing tourism activities. Outcomes achieved include increased tourist visits and the enhancement of local human resource capacity in utilizing digital technology for tourism promotion. The sustainability of this program is expected to be achieved through ongoing management by Pokdarwis, along with the maintenance of the established digital facilities.

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out to improve students' abilities in product presentation for entrepreneurship, in line with the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum. The method used in this training involves designing a pitch deck according to the Kawasaki Rule and presenting the product (pitching). The result of this community service activity is a pitch deck presentation video for a business product that has been designed and uploaded to YouTube. From the training activities and the outputs produced, students demonstrated that this training and practice improved their abilities in presenting business products, as measured by the pitching results and pitch decks created based on an analytic assessment rubric. The assessment rubric consists of 2 categories (pitching and pitch deck) with a total of 7 indicators, namely duration, content, delivery method, slides, digital media, cohesion, and language use.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide counseling to the UMKM Association of Komunitas Sukses Berjamaah Indonesia (KSBI) in South Jakarta regarding the application of the Kaizen ethos in improving the quality and success of their culinary business based on local wisdom. This counseling aims to provide an understanding of the concept of Kaizen ethos and encourage KSBI members to apply it in their culinary business. In this activity, an interactive approach method was used through discussions and case studies to understand the potential for improving local wisdom-based culinary businesses. The participants were invited to identify problems, challenges, and opportunities in their culinary business, as well as to utilize local wisdom as an added value in the business. Key Kaizen principles, such as elimination of waste, quality improvement, employee engagement, and continuous improvement cycle, were explained and applied in the context of KSBI's culinary business. Through the delivery of implementation strategies and successful case examples, participants were given practical guidance to apply the Kaizen ethos in their culinary business. In addition, Q&A and discussion sessions provided an opportunity for KSBI members to share their experiences and obtain solutions to the questions and problems they faced. The results of this activity had a positive impact on the members of the UMKM Community Sukses Berjamaah Indonesia (KSBI) in South Jakarta, focusing on continuous improvement and utilization of local potential, the participants managed to improve their operational efficiency and the quality of their culinary products. Awareness of the importance of innovation and adaptation to market changes has also increased, thus opening up opportunities to expand markets and strengthen the competitiveness of local wisdom-based culinary businesses through the application of the Kaizen ethos.

Abstract

The purpose of this service is to provide support and assistance to children with autism through the implementation of Social Behavior Therapy and Classical Conditioning Therapy. The methods used in implementing this service involve counseling based on counseling service cards, seminars, workshops, and pre-tests and post-tests to measure the effectiveness of the program. The results of the service showed that 85% of parents and caregivers were satisfied with the program, and there was a significant increase in the social skills and adaptive behavior of children with autism. The sustainability of this program is supported by intensive training for caregivers and parents, which ensures consistent application of therapy. This program is expected to be a model for other communities in implementing behavioral therapy for children with autism, creating a more supportive and inclusive environment for them in the future.

Abstract

One of the national health problems that requires special attention and handling from various parties, namely from the central government, regional governments, and the family level, is stunting. Sukamulya Village is one of the villages in Rancaekek District, Bandung, West Java, located in the Citarum River watershed (DAS), which runs a stunting prevention program with three hamlets in it. Currently, one of the targets of stunting education is teenagers. The problem faced when targeting teenagers as targets for education and agents of change, especially in Sukamulya Village, is that the material on stunting has not been packaged with the approach style of teenagers who enjoy technology-based information. In addition, teenagers consider this unimportant because the education provided is too dull and delivered by people they feel are too old (the same age as their parents). So, a training activity was carried out to make an animated video series based on artificial intelligence (AI) called Sukacanting, a method of stunting education and public speaking training to improve public speaking skills in providing stunting prevention education. With the training and creation of AI-based animated videos, several Posyandu cadre youth have improved their skills in creating, managing, and developing health education videos and public speaking skills.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to optimize spatial arrangement and display layout to enhance consumer appeal for the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) of the Komunitas Sukses Berjamaah Indonesia (KSBI) in South Jakarta. Lecturers from IBI Kosgoro 1957 participated in this activity, focusing on improving the effectiveness of spatial arrangement and displays, which will positively impact sales and the growth of the MSMEs. This activity began with an outreach to KSBI members on the importance of an attractive spatial arrangement and display to capture consumer attention. In this outreach, the IBI Kosgoro 1957 lecturers shared knowledge and practical experience on effective spatial design and marketing strategies through appealing displays. After the outreach, an analysis of the spatial arrangement and displays at KSBI was conducted to identify areas that needed improvement. The lecturers and their team collaborated with KSBI members to redesign the layout and displays, making them more attractive and functional. They considered factors such as product arrangement, lighting, visual merchandising, and efficient space management. Next, the implementation of changes to the layout and displays was carried out in collaboration between the IBI Kosgoro 1957 lecturers, their team, and KSBI members. They worked together to plan and execute the necessary changes. The IBI Kosgoro 1957 lecturers provided guidance and recommendations to KSBI members in optimizing their spatial arrangement and displays. The results of this activity are expected to enhance consumer appeal towards KSBI MSMEs. With effective spatial arrangements and attractive displays, MSME products are expected to be better showcased and catch the attention of consumers, ultimately boosting sales and business growth for KSBI members. This community service activity also provided KSBI members with knowledge and skills in managing their spatial arrangements and displays. They can apply design principles to increase the effectiveness of their spatial arrangements and displays in the future.

Abstract

Indonesia yang mayoritas penduduknya beragama Islam memiliki potensi yang besar menjadi pusat pengembangan keuangan syariah, termasuk pembiayaan mobil syariah. Namun, perkembangan pembiayaan mobil syariah sendiri masih relatif kecil. Salah satu permasalahan yang menghambat perkembangan pembiayaan mobil syariah adalah rendahnya tingkat literasi keuangan syariah masyarakat. Selain itu, masyarakat juga masih menganggap pembiayaan mobil syariah sama dengan pembiayaan mobil konvensional. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan pelatihan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman pembiayaan mobil syariah di masyarakat. Agar lebih efektif, pelatihan tersebut sebaiknya ditujukan ke pihak-pihak yang memiliki pengaruh di masyarakat, seperti pengurus masjid. Dengan pelatihan tersebut diharapkan pemahaman pengurus masjid terkait pembiayaan mobil syariah dapat meningkat, dan pengurus masjid dapat meneruskan pengetahuan mengenai pembiayaan mobil syariah ke masyarakat luas. Untuk melaksanakan pelatihan tersebut, tim pengabdian UPN Veteran Jakarta selanjutnya bekerja sama dengan Forum Silaturrahim Takmir Masjid Kementerian/Lembaga dan BUMN mengadakan sosialisasi pembiayaan mobil syariah bagi pengurus masjid. Metode kegiatan pengabdian ini menggunakan metode ceramah sebagai metode untuk sosialisasi pembiayaan mobil syariah, yang selanjutnya dilanjutkan dengan sesi tanya jawab. Selanjutnya diharapkan pengurus masjid dapat meneruskan pengetahuan mengenai pembiayaan mobil syariah kepada masyarakat luas sehingga pemahaman mengenai pembiayaan mobil syariah di masyarakat juga meningkat.

Abstract

Agro edu-tourism is an alternative to community economic development, especially in rural areas, which can increase the income and welfare of local residents through the tourism and agriculture sectors. Sindulang Village is one of the villages that has great potential in the agricultural and tourism sectors. With this great potential, the Sangga Buana University Community Service team together with partners from local millennial groups aim to make the agricultural land area in Sindulang Village an Agro Edu Tourism object towards a sustainable Smart Village. One of the important factors to achieve the realization of the objectives of this activity is by improving the quality of human resources of partners. Several problems were found that became obstacles to the realization of agro edu tourism development in terms of knowledge about the agricultural production process, digital marketing-based marketing, and Tourism Awareness Groups. The method of implementation in this activity is by conducting training, demonstrations, and discussions with service partner participants. The results of the implementation of the training increased understanding and knowledge of the material raised from the obstacles experienced. So that after the training is carried out, agro edu tourism planning towards a smart village which is the goal of this activity can be continued by looking at various other factors, guidance on utilizing digital marketing, keeping financial records, photography, managing the development of tourism packages, and handling tourism risk management.

Abstract

This Community Service Program aims to improve the skills of SMK 3 Cikini College students in online media production. The implementation method includes technical training ranging from pre-production to post-production of digital content. The results of the activity showed an improvement in students' skills in producing quality online media content, with a sustainability impact in supporting students' abilities in the digital era.

Abstract

Gymnastics has become a routine activity carried out by teachers and children at the PAUD institution. Gymnastics activities that are attached to PAUD often lead to competitions. Gymnastics competitions for early childhood are usually creative, that is, teachers or students are directed to create gymnastic movements based on their creations. However, most teachers only imitate existing gymnastics movements without being able to create their own. Based on the results of the observations carried out in August 2023 at the location of the creative gymnastics competition for RA children in Tegaldlimo Banyuwangi District, 7 of RA Institutions that took part, almost all of them used existing gymnastics movements. The aim of this community service (PKM) is to improve the skills of RA teachers in Tegaldlimo Banyuwangi District in creating and implementing creative exercises that are interesting and beneficial for young children. The method used in PKM is service learning. The result of this PKM activity is the increase of RA teachers’ skill in creating gymnastics creations for early childhood in Tegaldlimo Banyuwangi District. This improvement in teacher skills can be seen from the results of the pretest and posttest scores based on 3 indicators, namely, 1) understanding the concepts with an average pretest score of 13.08 and posttest of 35.38. 2) composing the music with an average pretest score of 1.58 and posttest of 2.58. 3) creating the gymnastic movements with an average pretest score of 1.16 and posttest of 2.84. The intention of this PKM program is inviting the RA teachers in Tegaldlimo District, Banyuwangi, to make exercise videos that are created by themselves and apply it to learning activities in their respective institutions.
