Abstract

The yellow book is a learning resource that uses Arabic without a vowel and requires special skills to be able to read it. Muḥāfaẓah naẓam Jurūmiyyah method is a way to make it easier for students to read the yellow book. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of muḥāfaẓah naẓam Jurūmiyyah method in reading the yellow book in Ponpes As-Sunniyyah Kencong Jember. The results of the research found that with muḥāfaẓah naẓam Jurūmiyyah method, 85% of the research subjects received the predicate of very good value while the remaining 15% had the predicate of good. This research proves that muḥāfaẓah naẓam Jurūmiyyah method is able to make it easy for students to read the yellow book and motivate them to explore Arabic grammar as a basic ability to be able to read the yellow book properly and correctly.

Abstract

The failure of learning Arabic can occur because of the measurability of the tests used to test students' abilities which results in information on student learning outcomes that are not mapped properly. This article aimed to analyze the HOTS-based Arabic thematic test items for class XII MAN 3 Jember in the 2020/2021 academic year in ar-riyāḍah and ash-syabāb material. Researchers used quantitative methods with item measurement techniques through the multiple-choice item analysis application Anates Version 4.0.2. The research findings showed that of the 15 questions tested, there were 9 questions that had not been HOTS, reliability was 0.78, and distractors number 4, 10, 11, and 14 could not be used. There were 4 questions with inappropriate interpretation and the rest were feasible with improvement. The questions being tested still need to be corrected both qualitatively and quantitatively.

Abstract

The lack of understanding of Arabic grammar as experienced by class XI D students at MA As-Sunniyyah makes students have weaknesses in analyzing and reading Arabic texts. This research aimed to describe the application of the grammar-translation method for class XI D at MA As-Sunniyyah through al-Jurūmiyyah book. This article used a qualitative approach with data collection through observation and documentation. The results of the research showed that the application of the grammar-translation method through the al-Jurūmiyyah book in class XI D MA As-Sunniyyah made students able to hone vocabulary preparation skills and identify iʻrāb through Arabic text reading with levels of 39% very capable, 39% able, and 22% less able. The grammar-translation method with the use of the al-Jurūmiyyah book in Arabic lessons can be used to hone students' skills in Arabic grammar.

Abstract

Among the many languages, Arabic has a special feature in the form of structure, vocabulary, and grammar. There are many students who still stumble in reading, find it difficult to speak, write, and listen as experienced by students of Nurul Huda Kartasura so the purpose of this article was to analyze their difficulties in learning Arabic. The method used in this article was descriptive qualitative with observation, documentation, and interviews as data collection techniques. The problem of learning Arabic for the students of Nurul Huda Kartasura was found in linguistic factors which included pronunciation, sentence structure, vocabulary, morphology, and syntax. While other factors were non-linguistic which included low interest, individual differences, and time constraints. These two inhibiting factors often surround Arabic students who become obstacles in learning Arabic and need more attention to overcome both.

Abstract

The ability of reading yellow book is a necessary requirement for students at Ponpes As-Sunniyyah Al-Jauhari Kencong Jember. Al-Miftāḥ li al-ʻUlūm method as the Sidogiri model is adapted to improve the ability of the students of Ponpes As-Sunniyyah Al-Jauhari Kencong Jember in reading the yellow book. This article pointed to describe the implementation of the Al-Miftāḥ li al-ʻUlūm method as a Sidogiri model at Ponpes As-Sunniyyah Al-Jauhari Kencong Jember. This article uses a qualitative method to analyze the data descriptively. The results exposed that the Sidogiri model could be coherent with the learning climate at Ponpes As-Sunniyyah Al-Jauhari Kencong Jember and in accordance with the expectations of Ponpes As-Sunniyyah Al-Jauhari Kencong Jember to make reading the yellow book effective. The Al-Miftāḥ li al-ʻUlūm method as the Sidogiri model can be an alternative model for the acceleration of reading the yellow book in the pesantren environment.

Abstract

In teaching Arabic a teacher needs special ways that can facilitate students to receive lessons. This particular method is based on the educational background of students, age, social, culture, factors of need and so forth. To formulate it, a comparative study between student language and the second language is studied. This formulation is very helpful for students in understanding and applying Arabic, which begins with a comparative study of the syntax of the two languages. This qualitative descriptive research results in the conclusion that students are able to apply certain sentences easily because the elements of similarity are preferred in learning them.

Abstract

This study is intended to explore the contents of the letter az-zukhruf verse 3 which discusses the Al-quran derived in Arabic and Arabic as a tool / tool for learning the Qur’an. There are things that make it possible to provide information about existing content and provide bene????its to writers and readers. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The subject of the study is the Qur’an Surat Az-zukhruf verse 3. The results of this study that these verses have several views and interpretations of the scholars’ interpreters who can be used for the Qur’an. The Qur’an is derived by using beautiful and complete language with meaning.

Abstract

The education system is the real basis for achieving the desired goals in the learning and teaching process, which determines the success of the failure of any educational project. It consists of four important elements, inputs and processes, then outputs or ????inal results, and a comparison of the results obtained with the criteria or bjectives set in the feedback. The problems of this research are: How the system of teaching Arabic language to develop writing skill in Darul Arobi in the Assunniyyah Islamic Boarding School of Kencong Jember for the academic year 20172018/. In this research, the researcher chose the descriptive approach with qualitative input. The sample of this research is the director of the Assunniyyah Islamic Boarding, the director and supervisor of Dar Al Arabi, and students who specialize in learning Arabic in Dar Al-Arabi in three stages.

Abstract

This research is based on the students weakness ability in reading Arabic text. It could be happened because learning activities and tecniques tend to be tedious. So they need a new way to make lesson not make them bored. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of learning and increasing the ability of students to understand the Arabic texts through the use of the language game “Flash” at IAI Al-Falah As-Sunniyyah Kencong Jember. The researcher use R&D approach to apply this study. The results of this study are: First, the students can play the game “Flash” in developing their reading skill ability. Second, the teacher can reach the learning goal easily. Third, the ????lash game can develop the students reading skills effectively.

Abstract

The birth of Arabic in the form of what is now started from a long civilization in the past. The scientists then classi????ied the language, including the language revealed by Noah›s children who later spread in various languages in the world, especially Arabic. Sam language became the language of his Arabic ancestors. But what is the difference between these languages and other European languages? This needs to be known so that the horizon related to the language is wide open.
