Abstract

Stunting is one of the nutritional problems that occurs in the world, especially in poor and developing countries, including Indonesia. Stunting can also be used as an indicator of child growth indicating chronic malnutrition. This study aims to analyze the predictors of stunting based on aspects of antenatal care and postnatal care. This research is a quantitative analytic study with a case-control study approach involving 90 mothers with children aged 24-59 months who live in the coastal area of Kolaka Regency. The data was processed using the SPSS application, and tested with the Odds Ratio (OR) test. If the LL-UL value does not contain a value of 1, it is considered significant. The predictor/independent variable showed that the risk factor for the history of zinc supplementation on the incidence had an OR value of 9,846 (3.717-26,083). This means that toddlers who consume zinc irregularly have a risk of 9.8 suffering from stunting. The risk factor for a history of helminthiasis on stunting has an OR value of 7.608 (2.981-19,4176,089), meaning that toddlers who have a history of worms are at risk of 7.6 times suffering from stunting. The risk factor for a history of exclusive breastfeeding for stunting has an OR value of 4.984 (2.028-12.253), meaning that toddlers who receive exclusive breastfeeding for less than 6 months have a 4.9 times risk of suffering from stunting. The incidence of stunting in toddlers in Kolaka Regency is influenced by exclusive breastfeeding, history of worms, history of zinc supplementation.

Abstract

Nurses' immunity can be achieved using COVID-19 vaccination. However, not all nurses have a better understanding of COVID-19 vaccination which may cause their decision to be vaccinated. This study aims to determine the relationship between nurses' knowledge about the COVID-19 vaccine and nurses' anxiety about the COVID-19 vaccination. This study used a quantitative analytic approach with a cross-sectional design. The sample of this study was 80 respondents which were selected using a simple random sampling technique. A questionnaire used for this study has been tested for its validity and reliability. Data collection was analysed using univariate and bivariate analysis. The results of this study showed that the majority of respondents had good knowledge of 72 people (90.0%) and appropriate knowledge of 10 (10.0%). Some of the respondents experienced mild anxiety with 72 people (90, 0%). The respondents who have good knowledge of mild anxiety levels are 68 people (94.4%) and respondents who have good knowledge of moderate-severe anxiety are 4 people (56.0%), respondents who are knowledgeable enough about mild anxiety namely as many as 4 people (50.0%) and respondents who have sufficient knowledge with moderate-severe anxiety are 4 people (50.0%). Based on the Chi-Square test, it is known that the p-value = 0.003 (P-value < 0.05). Respondents who have good knowledge will experience mild anxiety. Abstract

Introduction: Stunting is a chronic malnutrition problem that causes growth disorders, namely the child's height is lower or shorter (short) than the standard age. One of the current government focuses is stunting prevention by promoting the “Fill My Plate” Campaign. Objective: to determine the relationship between mother's knowledge about the "Fill My Plate" Campaign with the incidence of stunting in toddlers in the working area of the Sidomulyo Inpatient Health Center Pekanbaru. Method: This study is quantitative with a correlation design using a cross-sectional approach. Data collection in this study was carried out using a consecutive sampling technique in March-August 2021 on 70 mothers and toddlers. The measuring instrument used is a knowledge questionnaire and a microtaise which is then analyzed using the chi square test (p-value <0.05). Results: Of the 18 respondents who had toddlers with stunting problems, 83.3% had high knowledge. The results of the chi-square test obtained p value 0.71 (p value > 0.05) meaning Ha is rejected so it can be concluded that there is no relationship between mother's knowledge about the "Fill My Plate" campaign with the incidence of stunting in toddlers in the working area of the Sidomulyo Inpatient Health Center Pekanbaru. Mothers with low knowledge are 1 times more likely to have children with stunting. Recommendations It is hoped that further researchers can analyze the application of the contents of my plate to the incidence of stunting or other related matters that can improve stunting prevention in children in Indonesia
