Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work stress on the performance of CV. Berta Lestari Anggana. This research method uses quantitative research methods. The analytical technique used in this research is descriptive quantitative which aims to determine the influence of the independent variable (X), namely work stress on the dependent variable (Y), namely employee performance. Data collection techniques in this study is to use a questionnaire distributed to all employees of CV. Berta Lestari Anggana. With a total population of 40 employees. The sampling technique was carried out using the saturated sample formula. For the analysis tool in this study using a simple linear regression test, classical assumption test and hypothesis testing. The results in this study are the t test value (3.605) which shows a value greater than the t table value so that partially or t test the work stress variable (X) affects employee performance (Y) at CV. Berta Lestari Aggana.

Abstract

Post-purchase behavior is the focus of this study because it can show consumer loyalty to a product. Consumer loyalty is a commitment from consumers to a product that arises as a result of repeated purchases to provide benefits for producers or companies. This study aims to examine the effect of digital marketing, brand image, and perceived value on consumer loyalty. The sample used is as many as 110 respondents who have purchased flight ticket products for Citilink Bali Branch. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study found that simultaneously digital marketing, brand image, and perceived value affected consumer loyalty. Partially, digital marketing has a positive and insignificant effect on consumer loyalty. Brand image and perceived value have a positive and significant effect on consumer loyalty. Respondents gave the highest score on trust in Citilink's brand image and feeling happy while traveling using Citilink. Other attributes that get the lowest score must be the focus of improvement by Citilink to maintain customer loyalty in the long term.

Abstract

This study was conducted on patients of Mitra Kasih Cimahi Hospital. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of hospital reputation and service quality on patient satisfaction in Cimahi private hospital. The research method that will be used in this study is Survey Research. In this study the unit of analysis is the individual patient Cimahi Private Hospital. The sample in this study as many as 75 respondents. Sampling random sampling method is a sampling technique used in this study. The method of analysis using multiple linear regression analysis, in addition to testing the validity and reliability of research instruments. Based on the results showed that there is no direct relationship between the reputation of the hospital (X1) with patient satisfaction (Y). second, there is a relationship between the quality of Service (X2) with patient satisfaction (Y). Third, there is a simultaneous influence between the reputation of the hospital (X1) and quality of Service (X2) with patient satisfaction (Y).

Abstract

Semiotic pragmatic is a branch of semiotic inquiry which study “the relationship between signs and interpreter or users” use of signs. Pragmatics specifically deals with the aspects of communication specifically situational functions that underlie speech. Therefore, one of the goals of semiotic analysis is to provide analytical methods and thinking and coping frameworks for misreading or misinterpreting the meaning of a sign. The researcher uses Roland Barthes' semiotics approach, and also uses John Space 2019, used as a methodology for peeling and deciphering elements of meaning signs found in advertisements and then interpreting them. The writer found out the message implied on billboard advertisements, 1. by focusing on the product, visually, and putting the tag line verbally, 2. By using popular artists’ endorsement on the product 3. Put the context visually first and making interpret the verbal message, 4. make the context on the Billboard, when to enjoy the product 5. The writer found the type of connotative meaning mostly uses friendly connotation 0,86% the hard connotation0,0 4%, high connotation 0.08%, dangerous connotation 0.04% means most Billboard advertisements use friendly connotation 0,86%, friendly connotation by using slang words, or colloquial sentences, that make the reader as friends. To find out the myth implied in those billboard advertisements, which is where when the connotation aspect becomes popular thought in society, then Myth naturalizes events: it transforms history into nature. myth is a semiological system that has the pretension of transcending itself into a factual system.

Abstract

Film is a medium that is presented to entertain all people. Every film must have a moral message or values that always motivate the audience. In this study, the author analyzes the film entitled Raya and The Last Dragon which has moral and social values that can be learned by everyone, and aims to find out what types of moral values and social values are. This study uses descriptive qualitative theory with a grounded theory approach. The object of the research is a phenomenon that exists in its natural context and is understood after the field data is obtain, whether through interview or observation, interpreted. The result find that has a moral and social value in this movie, there are courage, honest, humble, patient, helping, wisdom, respect, work hard. This is a moral value that we must apply in order to become a person of good character.

Abstract

This research is the result of research on the type of psychodrama experienced by Jim, the compassion shown by Jim and the purpose of psychodrama to others as introduced by Jim in the novel Into the Magic Shop by DR. James R. Doty. This research used qualitative research methods in research design, data collection and data analysis to describe, summarize and recap, and evaluate data from literature studies of several journals, books, blogs and others related to existing psychological studies and psychoanalytic therapy, which are the essence of this research. The results of the research conducted found that Jim's experience was a spiritual experience intended for meditation and visualization, the affection shown by Jim was to teach psychodrama to others and the purpose of introducing psychodrama was to make others feel the spiritual experience itself. Based on the research results, the researcher concludes that Psychodrama is an action technique in changing our views for the better. Meditation and Visualization are used in psychodrama techniques, the goal of which is to gain awareness of oneself. The power of heart and mind will create our desires. the relationship of heart and mind can make us change our perception of ourselves to create our desire for Self-Improvement

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of profitability, solvency and Corporate Social Responsibility on earnings management. This research uses quantitative methods. The population in this study were all manufacturing companies listed on IDX in 2018-2020, totaling 542 companies. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling and resulted in 15 companies being selected as samples with a total of 38 data. This study uses secondary data. The results show that profitability has a positive and significant effect on earnings management, solvency has a positive and significant effect on earnings management, and Corporate Social Responsibility has no effect on earnings management. Simultaneously profitability, solvency, Corporate Social Responsibility affect earnings management.

Abstract

This thesis aimed to find communication strategies used by teachers during classroom interaction. This research was conducted in SMP Swasta Katolik Assisi Medan. The subject of this research was the English Teacher. The researcher used a qualitative approach, more specifically classroom discourse analysis, in analyzing this study since the source of the data was communication strategies that are used by an English teacher in communicating with her students during an English teaching-learning activity. The data was taken by recording 90 minutes of English Lessons. The researcher used Celce-Murcia as a framework for this data analysis because of its specification and newness. The result showed that the five strategies used were repetition. From those strategies, code-switching was the strategy that was most frequently used by the teacher during the process of teaching and learning. The teacher`s reasons for applying those communication strategies were to overcome the communication barriers that occur between the teacher and the students and to help the students understand and memorize the material more accessible. The result of the interview also showed that the students had a good perception of the implementation of communication strategies used by the teacher in the classroom.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the translation method in the film Aku Penggerak Mimpi 2, using Machine Translation. This study is a qualitative approach conducted through descriptive research. The data used is a summary that will be made by students and will translate into English using machine translation through the Indonesian version of the film Aku Penggerak Mimipi 2. In data analysis by identifying methods based on Newmark. The results of this study reveal that the methods applied by translators are: word for word, faithful translation, semantic translation, idiomatic translation, free translation, communicative translation, and literal translation. There are 16 sentences used as data. The word for word is 3 sentences, idiomatic 5 sentences, faithful 2, literal 4, semantic 4 sentence, communicative 2 sentences, free translation 3 sentences. And from the results of research in 23 sentences, the author found that the translation method of idiomatic 5 translation found in 5 sentences is the one that is widely used by translators. This study only covers the translation method in the film "Aku Penggerak Mimpi 2 ". There are other fields of translation that can be used as a research center. Therefore, to complete the description of the translation of the film "Aku Penggerak Mimpi 2 ", other researchers are advised to conduct research. Others about this, such as the procedure translation, strategy and other areas of translation.

Abstract

This study motivated by the phenomenon in SMAS GKPI Padang Bulan. The teacher reported that the students did not know how to do well on a regular basis, and the teacher also said that the teacher used several methods to improve the students' speaking skills when performing speech, but no significant progress was made. This issues supported by students confession that they have problem when preparing speech and they feel anxiety. To solve this problem, researcher decided to conduct a research toward grade XI social students of SMAS GKPI Padang Bulan. The design of this research is quantitative descriptive with 20 samples of students from grade XI SMAS GKPI Padang Bulan. The result of the study shows that; First, Confidence problem is difficulties which affects students speech in grade XI Social at SMAS GKPI Padang Bulan by the academic year of 2022/2023. Second, Grade XI social students speech preparation is all of them making introduction and closing, but they have lack of skill in formulating it both introduction and closing. Third, Students performance related to internal factor is that they are lacking in making an organized and structured sentence while in eksternal factor they have lack skill in speech due to they never join speech competition. So that teacher need to guide students and students need to improve their speech preparation so it will improve their confidence and performance Keywords : Speech Preparation, Performance, Social Students.
