Abstract

According to observations made at the mine site, there were several small landslides in almost every mine pit, but overall the slopes of the mine walls were in good condition. Slope stability studies were carried out on mine slopes and the results of the process of piling up overburden material in open pit mining systems, both of which have varying treatment and holding strength. In order to assess the effectiveness of the planned slope design in pit 7, a slope stability analysis must be carried out. Samples that have been subjected to laboratory testing, both for physical and mechanical properties, must be consistent with and under the same conditions as when the sample was first taken at the research location. The results of this study stated that on the highwall slope the slope design at a height of -101.6 which is planned to be unsafe with a safety factor value of 1.16 is what causes the highwall slope on cross section D. The unsafe FK value for the highwall slope 2 part of the F slope is 1.19. The final slope design on the slope of section G which is expected to be affected by the load of material disposal has an FK value of 1.23 which indicates it is not safe. As for the sidewall slopes, the final design of the sidewall slope sections is influenced by modeling findings. The critical FK value of 1.25 occurs at an altitude of -61 masl which is influenced by the material disposal load. The final design slope is in an unsafe condition with a safety factor value of 1.21 at an elevation of 77 masl, according to the modeling results for the J-section model

Abstract

This study has objectivity towards the manipulative treatment carried out by the characters in the third novel The School for Good and Evil, namely The Last Ever After. Research on manipulative behavior is focused on the characters of Rafal and Sophie. The purpose of this study is to find out and warn readers about manipulative behavior in romantic relationships and how it can be dangerous for the victim. In doing this research, the writer uses several theories to classify each manipulative treatment performed by the characters. After knowing the signs and types of each manipulative treatment, the writer then analyzes how the treatment influences Sophie's character throughout the story. From the data that has been collected, it can be concluded that Sophie's character experiences an inability to trust herself in doing something and ultimately depends on Rafal in making decisions even though she knows that this is dangerous for other people safety.

Abstract

The application of a problem-based learning model to improve the mathematical skills of class VII-A students of SMP Negeri 1 Simanindo is a class action (PTK). The research subject was for 16 batch 1 people where the object of research was the ability to think creatively in mathematics of students in linear equations and inequalities for one variable TA 2021/2022. Class action (PTK) consists of 2 cycles, each 2 meetings. Before giving the action, they are first given an initial test and at the end of each cycle are given a test of mathematical creative thinking ability. The results of the analysis of the initial test data showed that the number of students who achieved learning mastery from the initial test was 2 out of 16 students or 12.5% with a class average of 42.66. The results of data analysis in cycle I after applying the problem-based learning model showed that the number of students who achieved mastery learning was 10 out of 16 students or 62.5% with a class average of 63. The results of data analysis at the end of cycle II with the same learning obtained the number of students achieving learning completeness is 14 out of 16 students or 87.5% with an average of 77. This means that there is an increase in students' creative thinking skills from cycle I to cycle II. Based on the classical mathematics completeness criteria, this learning has achieved the classical completeness target. This means that there is an increase in students' creative thinking skills from cycle I to cycle II. Based on the classical mathematics completeness criteria, this learning has achieved the classical completeness target. This means that there is an increase in students' creative thinking skills from cycle I to cycle II. Based on the classical mathematics completeness criteria, this learning has achieved the classical completeness target.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the learning process by using the Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning model in teaching at SMK Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli and to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes in the basic competencies of Application of Occupational Safety and Health and Environmental Procedures by using the Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning model at SMK Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli for the 2021/2022 academic year. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The instruments used include: observation in the learning process (Teacher Respondents), observation sheets of student activeness in the learning process, student learning outcomes tests, interviews and documentation. This research was conducted in class X-DPIB even semester of SMK Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli in 2021/2022 with 14 students. The results of the study were obtained: (1) In cycle I (first) the average observation of teacher respondents in the learning process of the first meeting was 55% and the second meeting was 60% with an average percentage of 57.5%. The percentage of observations of students who were active in the learning process of the first meeting was 40.90% and the second meeting was 49.00% with an average percentage of 44.95%. The percentage of students who were not actively involved in the learning process of the first meeting was 51% and the second meeting was 59.1% with an average percentage of 57.5%. The average student learning outcomes were 64.04 with a percentage of completeness of 42.85% and a percentage of incompleteness of 58.00% (2) In cycle II (second) the percentage of observations of teacher respondents in the learning process of the first meeting was 80% and the second meeting was 87.5% with an average of 83.75%. The percentage of observations of students who were active in the learning process the first meeting was 77.5% and the second meeting was 83.5% with an average of 80.5%.. It is concluded that the application of the Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning model to improve student learning outcomes in the basic competencies of Applying Occupational and Environmental Health and Safety Procedures.
