Abstract

Interception between picture visualization and consistency or continuity in an audio visual works happens often. Such as the discontinuity between the images and the narration, the discontinuity between the intersection of the images and the rhythm of the music, and no color discontinuity between the images. The objective from producing this production work is for creating the images or pictures continuity through technical methods, which include cutting by narration, cutting by rhythm, color correction, and color grading therefore to analyze the objectives in this final documentary program work titled “Ragam Rasam – Man of Umbi”. Based on the result from this final work, the implementation of cutting by narration and cutting by rhythm can produce a documentary program that is harmonious and comfortable to watch. Cutting by narration produces the cut, and the images’ choices can match the narrative conveyed. Therefore, the information can be easily delivered to the viewers. The cutting by rhythm technique resulting in the cutting of the images changes every music tempo, this technique produces the images sequence being easier to understand by the viewers. Afterwards, from the implementation of color correction, could produce images with balanced light and color along with color standardization to perform color grading. From the implementation of color grading, the writer can produce images that match with entire images and story. The color grading technique also corrects the colors that appear out of alignment to be a color that matches the other colors in the images.

Abstract

This study was designed to answer questions regarding the effectiveness of auricular acupressure in improving metabolic parameters of patients at risk of metabolic syndrome. Article search was conducted on 4 search engines (Pubmed, EBSCO, ProQuest, and Scopus) on November 20, 2021. Studies with patients at risk of metabolic syndrome, characterized by overweight to obesity, type 2 diabetes mellitus, hypertriglyceridemia, hypercholesterolemia, or hypertension were included in the study. Two authors screened titles and abstracts based on formulated clinical questions. The study quality assessment instrument used was a revised Cochrane RoB tool for randomized trials. There were 11 RCT studies of moderate to good quality. The frequency with which acupressure was performed varies greatly between studies. In general, we found that there was no significant difference in reducing triglyceride levels (p=0.87), waist circumference (p=0.11), systolic blood pressure (p=0.19), diastolic blood pressure (p=0.37) in the control and intervention groups. The decrease in blood sugar levels was recorded to be higher in the intervention group with a mean difference of 14.38 (95% CI, 5.29–24.37). One study only reported HDL outcome, with the result that the increase in HDL in the intervention group was higher than in the control group. Compared with patients who only received standard therapy, patients who received additional auricular acupressure therapy experienced a higher decrease in glucose levels. However, this therapy did not cause a significant difference in the reduction of triglycerides, blood pressure, and waist circumference.

Abstract

Pabeanudik Village is located in the Indramayu sub-district, a coastal area where most of the people are fishermen and to fulfil their household needs depend on fishing activities. With the potential of marine resources that are adequately owned, the welfare of the household and the economy of the people who live on the coast can be fulfilled. However, this only applies to a few people living in coastal areas who are still below the poverty line. This is because fishermen depend on the sea where weather conditions are uncertain and marine catches are not optimal or even non-existent, hindering the development of family economic welfare. In an uncertain economic situation, fishing families are required to be able to adapt to be able to build a family economy so that daily survival can be fulfilled. This study aims to describe the empowerment of women in their role in building the economy of fishermen's families through fish management businesses in Pabeanudik Village, Indramayu District. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method through an instrumental case study approach. This study concludes that the empowerment of coastal women in Pabeanudik village is reflected in their productive role in the fish management business, which is carried out to obtain additional economic income to meet the needs of family life.
