Abstract

Public procurement defined as purchasing process of goods, services and works, by governments. Government as public procurement entity are expected to conduct the process under highly standards, to report it transparently and to ensure its efficiency and effectiveness, under value of money principle. In accordance with this issue, Indonesia governments continuously develop public procurement system, led by The National Public Procurement Agency. E-procurement system was built, transactional covering the whole cycle, and public procurement regulations are revised as an adaptation of national economic development. In order to evaluate governance of procurement process, The Public Procurement Policy Agency develop set of performance indicator to reflect internal procurement governance of public procurement accounts, as issued in Head of National Public Procurement Agency’s Circular Letter Number 2 Year 2021. This indicator also acts as a measurement aspect of the bureaucratic reform that must be implemented by government ministries/institutions, including The Indonesia Food and Drug Agency. The purpose of this study is to capture The Indonesia Food and Drug Agency procurements governance according to Head of Public Procurement Policy Agency’s Circular Letter Number 2 Year 2021. Considering that the indicator has just implemented in 2021, there would be some internal hindrance that potentially influence the performance of public procurements which may affect its continuity. This condition can cause delays in the utilization of output so that the principles of efficiency and effectiveness can’t be achieved. 25 internal public procurements practitioners and stakeholder participated in this research. 25 potential problems were identified and analyzed under Kepner-Tregoe situation appraisal. The result of this research expected to be useful to determine which public procurement strategies should be implemented to overcome obstacles.

Abstract

This study aims to test the effect of Good Corporate Governance to Price to Book Value of All Registered Manufacturing Companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2018-2020. Type of data used in this study is secondary data. The population of this study is all manufacture companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2018-2020. To retrieve the sample, the writer employed purposive sampling method and applied criteria listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange, reported annually subsequently from 2018-2020 in Indonesia Stock Exchange and there was Managerial ownership, Institutional ownership, Independent commissioner, Audit committee, and frequency of board commissioners meeting in the company. The result of this study shows that Managerial ownership, Institutional ownership, Independent commissioner, Audit committee and frequency of board commissioners meeting positively and significantly influenced Price to Book Value in Manufacture company in Indonesia from 2018-2020.

Abstract

Employees are human resources who play an important role in achieving organizational goals, employees who excel and have high work quality certainly bring benefits and organizational progress. Organizational culture, motivation and organizational citizenship behavior are a concern for organizations in providing encouragement to employees to carry out activities in the organization. Organizational culture as a value, belief and boundaries accepted by employees in determining the extent to which they act. Organizational culture has a role in improving performance, so motivation is the driving force or impetus that causes employees to take an action to achieve goals. Improving employee performance cannot be separated from individual roles such as organizational citizenship behavior which involves several behaviors, including helping others, volunteering for extra tasks, obeying workplace rules and procedures. This research was conducted on employees of the Kebonagung Sugar Factory in Malang with a sample of 50 employees. Data collection methods using questionnaires. The analysis used includes instrument testing, classical assumption test, normality test, multiple linear regression, hypothesis testing and coefficient of determination test using multiple regression analysis with the help of SPSS 14.0 software for Windows. The results showed that organizational culture and motivation had no significant effect on employee performance, while organizational citizenship behavior had a significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

Teenagers and students favor this social media application to make friends and share their life stories. With its various exciting applications, this social media application has attracted professionals in running a business, significantly to improve the quality of life of their human resources. We have proven the truth and error of this assumption by examining literature sources from various domestic and international publications that discuss the advantages and disadvantages of social media in supporting the improvement of human resources among the public. Our data is analyzed using a phenomenological approach, exploring as much data as possible. We analyze it by involving an interpretation coding system in concluding according to the purpose of this study which aims to get the broadest understanding of how social media applications can help improve the quality of human resources. Based on data and scientific evidence, we can report that social media is increasingly being used not only for friendship but also to increase the quality of the company's human resources. Hopefully, this finding will be essential in improving human resources through social media applications.

Abstract

Pregnancy and childbirth are happy moments for every mother-to-be in the world. However, pregnancy and childbirth during a pandemic have risks for transmission to both the mother and the fetus. Thus, giving attention to children is given since the child is conceived, during the delivery process and after delivery. During the COVID-19 pandemic, mothers can check their pregnancy 6 times during pregnancy. Preparing to give birth during the COVID-19 pandemic needs to be considered. The choice of place to give birth, be it at home, clinic, or hospital, taking into account the risks and benefits. After the baby is born it is important to continue to do consultations, including undergoing routine immunizations. Every mother should be more active in asking about safe ways to make appointments for consultations and immunizations in the midst of a pandemic. Given the bad impact, the government pays special attention to child protection by issuing Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection in Article 1 it is stated that children are given special protection, namely a form of protection received by children in certain situations and conditions to get guarantees. a sense of security against threats that endanger themselves and their lives in their growth and development. Law Number 36 of 2009 concerning Health states that maternal health efforts must be aimed at maintaining maternal health so that they are able to give birth to a healthy and quality generation and reduce maternal mortality. Therefore, the role and alertness of the government and health workers as the front line in handling Covid-19 can provide peace to pregnant women through pregnancy and childbirth in the midst of a pandemic. Pregnant women need to pay more attention to complying with health protocols even though they have made an agreement to consult with health workers when preparing for pregnancy and childbirth during the COVID-19 pandemic

Abstract

The Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM) is an institution that carries out government affairs in the field of drug and food control with the aim of protecting consumers from losses. However, nowadays cases regarding food distribution that harm consumers are still occurring, one of which is food containing pork sold in minimarkets. Where the minimarket sells food products containing pork that are not in accordance with applicable regulations. This study uses a normative juridical legal research method with a law approach and a case approach. Then, using secondary data sources obtained from literature studies, then the data is processed using qualitative analysis. The results of the study show that the Government through BPOM has the responsibility to carry out supervision by providing distribution permits for foods containing pork that have met the standards in accordance with distribution permit regulations, then monitoring minimarkets to ensure food safety is maintained while circulating and taking action if there is food that is contaminated. In circulation does not comply with the applicable provisions as a form of protection for Muslim consumers. Protection of Muslim consumers has been stipulated in Law no. 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection and Law no. 33 of 2014 concerning Halal Product Guarantee. Where business actors are required to meet the applicable requirements in selling food containing pork in minimarkets and provide correct and honest services to consumers in accordance with good retail guidelines. The authors suggest that BPOM can supervise food containing pork sold in Mini Markets more firmly, routinely and thoroughly through cooperation with related parties in order to prevent losses to consumers.

Abstract

The discussion about the Google AdWords influences with the PulauTidung homestay regarding their marketing and promotion aspects as one of the top 10 Destination Ministry of Tourism priority as NTAs. The study identifies the application of their Google AdWords advertisement, the application of homestay marketing and promotion, and the correlation of Google AdWords towards homestay marketing and promotion performance. AdWords, Google’s primary search engine advertising regarding the analytics, CPC, CTR, LCR, and ROI. The homestay marketing and promotional regarding promotional activities, tour operator partnership, and web marketing. The quantitative research with correlation and regression approaches derive the hypotheses. The primary data takes the Interview and questionnaire survey. The secondary uses the behavioural data, and the combined behavioural with interview data. The Pearson Correlation highly significant correlation coefficient (0.696). The final calculation with ROI of Google AdWords operational is significantly earned with 12.5% per week. The statistical significance at α = 10%, with the Ttable (1.66). Therefore, the Ttest earns Tcalc (6.519) >Ttable (1.66) determine the Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted means Google AdWords correlates the homestay marketing and promotion performance simultaneously.

Abstract

The implementation of learning should stimulate students to be more active in improving social skills, emotional skills, spiritual skills, scientific skills, mental skills, kinesthetic skills, and entrepreneurial skills, which in turn can improve students' competence and entrepreneurial character, in accordance with the vision and mission Education units. These skills are also skills needed in the world of work and industry, because industry professionals always work in groups and synergize to complete a particular project or job. Thus, the hard skills and soft skills of vocational and high school students as prospective workers and entrepreneurs should be able to develop creativity and innovation that will shape competence, entrepreneurial character, through positive, integrated, combined, mutual cooperation and collaboration interactions, implementing human literacy among people. Fellow human beings, cooperate, work in groups, synergize, and collaborate to complete a job. Life skills in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and the era of society 5.0, as well as the new normal life, are the ability and courage to face life's problems, then proactively and reactively, seek and find solutions to overcome them. Life skills are skills or abilities to be able to adapt and behave positively, which allows a person to be able to deal with various demands and challenges in real life more effectively. The implementation of life skills-based collaborative learning can be used as a forum to improve students' competence and entrepreneurial character.

Abstract

The background of the title determination above, that currently still very unfortunate about the relationship between the ficus (Tax Officer from Dispen Banten Province) and the motor vehicle taxpayer has not been the desired harmony. So that compliance and awareness of citizens to meet the obligation to pay Motor Vehicle Taxes well before the maturity of STNK is still far from the expected plan. This is where a dialogue with motor vehicle taxpayers is needed both formally and informally, to find out the difficulties faced by taxpayers and offer what can be helped by the Tax Office. The demands of good service will provide a sense of healthy communication between government employees who are in charge of providing services to the community, with taxpayers. This research aims to find out the Quality of Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) services provided by the Revenue Office (Dispen) of Banten Province, to find out the Level of Satisfaction of Taxpayers in the Revenue Office (Dispen) of Banten Province, to find out how much influence the quality of Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) services on taxpayer satisfaction in the Revenue Office (Dispen) of Banten Province. The method used in this study is a survey research method with a quantitative verification approach. Then the result of the test t resulted in that t table is smaller i.e. t count 9.7034 while t table 1.661 or (t count 9.7034 > t table 1.661).

Abstract

The pandemic in Indonesia has been declared a non-natural national disaster since March 13. 2020(MOH, 2020). As health workers working in the operating room, they must prioritize safety principles to be able to provide the best service in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the standard of hospital room facilities must be a concern so that there is no transmission from patients. The operating room needs to be designed to have the right placement, as well as the right room and equipment design, in order to create a service flow that protects hospital staff and families/communities who come for patients. Appropriate facility standards must be prepared by hospital management so that patient care can be carried out properly. This article aims to discuss good forensic and operating room service standards, and explore options for providing operating rooms for type C and D hospitals or mobile hospitals.
