Abstract

The aim of the research is to dissect implementation of patient referral application between dentist and general practitioner with web-based specialist. The method used in this research is through a qualitative approach. Data collection uses purposive sampling with in-depth interview techniques through questions to 10 informants from dentist, general practitioner, and communication technology specialists accompanied by 2 triangulators. Data collection techniques using observation, interview, documentation, and case study. The data analysis technique was carried out by means of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the implementation of a systemic patient referral application between dentists and general practitioners with web-based specialists is the right solution in the current era, because the manual referral system has constraints in terms of time, geography, and finance.

Abstract

In a world situation that is changing so fast, complex, ambiguous, and uncertain which causes intense competition in various fields, the quality of human resources becomes a determinant of an organization's competitive advantage. This quantitative study aims to examine the effect of training on job satisfaction mediating by performance. 80 financial staff of the Indonesian Ursuline Education Foundation participated in this study as respondents. Data was collected through google form and analyzed using SSPS for windows. The results showed that there was a positive and significant effect of performance on job satisfaction and a positive and significant effect of training on performance. Therefore, it is important for the Ursuline Education foundation to enrich the knowledge and skills of financial staff with training as it can improve performance and subsequently have a major impact on job satisfaction.

Abstract

Implementation of a new source for residential homes, this study uses a baseline based on the availability of PV mini-grid equipment. The research method is carried out by direct measurement of PLTS devices. The solar power plant devices measured include a solar cell module, a solar charge controller (SCC) Inverter testing is done by connecting the battery to the inverter input, and the inverter output is connected to a 500-Watt load capacity. The inverter lasts for about 3 hours. It can be stated that the battery can provide energy of 3 days.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of training, use of information technology and work environment on employee performance at PT. Nusantara IV Plantation, Medan City. The research method in this research is quantitative. The location of this research was conducted at PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Medan City on Jl. Lt. Gen. Suprapto No. 2, Hamdan Kec. Medan Maimun, Medan City, North Sumatra 20212. The time of the study starts in December 2021 until November 2022. The results of the discussion obtained that the t-count value of the Training variable (X1) is 8.811 when compared to the t-table value of 1.659. Then the t-count obtained is greater than the t-table value or 8.811 > 1.659. The calculated t value for the Information Technology Use (X2) variable is -1,339 when compared to the t table value of 1,659. Then the calculated t obtained is smaller than the t table value or -1.339 < 1.659. The calculated t value for the Work Environment (X3) variable is 2,177 when compared to the t table value of 1,659. Then the t-count obtained is greater than the t-table value or 2.177 > 1.659. The results of hypothesis testing the calculated f value is 843,927 with a sig level of 0.000, therefore the sig value is 0.000 > 0.05 and the calculated F value is 843.927 > F table 2.69. The value of R square (R2) or the square of R shows the coefficient of determination is 0.961, meaning that the percentage of training (X1), the use of information technology (X2) and the work environment (X3) on employee performance is 96.1% while the remaining 3.9% is influenced by other variables which were not investigated by this study.

Abstract

In an organization, the human aspect is essential in determining success in achieving the organization's vision, mission, and goals. The role of humans in the organization is as a pillar and pillar of organizational success. Recognizing the importance of human resources for the survival and progress of the company, the company must have measures to encourage optimal employee performance and be able to meet the critical performance index that has been established. Several factors need to be considered to support employee performance, including transformational leadership: knowledge sharing, and affective commitment. The study was conducted on 194 employees of manufacturing companies in Indonesia, where the study was a quantitative study by spreading questionnaires and using Linkert scales as measurements and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results showed that transformational leadership is positively related to Knowledge Sharing, Affective Commitment, while knowledge sharing and affective commitment are positively related to employee performance. Transformational leadership is not positively related to employee performance. Furthermore, knowledge-sharing mediation and affective commitment can mediate Transformational Leadership relationships to employee performance.

Abstract

The correlation between State Security is inseparable from the state sovereignty. In its implementation, State Security is achieved through law enforcement by agencies which become state instruments according to their respective duties and tasks. State Security is part of the fourth Immigration function which has the aim of protecting State Sovereignty from foreign threats in the perspective of Immigration. The Crime Act, which at present is no longer in a small scope, it’s already a matter that cannot be limited by a national boundary, or known as Transnational Organized Crime. There are a lot of crimes threatening State Security that have arisen due to threats from abroad. Therefore, the formulation of the problem examined in this paper is what the threats are to state security in the perspective of Immigration for state sovereignty. The research method used is normative legal research that is qualitative in nature and mixed thinking logic (deductive and inductive). From the results of the study, it can be seen that the Immigration problem has a direct impact on State Security. So that the need for seriousness in strengthening Immigration in the function of state security for national sovereignty. The Directorate General of Immigration must be the foremost authority in State Security in order to safeguard State Sovereignty with a philosophical guardian of the nation's authoritative gate (bhumi pura wira wibawa).

Abstract

This research was carried out based on the results of field analysis to teachers regarding the difficulties in developing learning media so that they felt bored during the learning process. This study aims to develop digital comics learning media in social studies subjects for economic activities. The method used in this research is the development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model which consists of four steps, namely 1) analysis, 2) design, 3) development, 4) implementation and 5) evaluations. This research was conducted at SDN Kalibaru 07. The information obtained in this study was conducted by giving questionnaires to media experts, material experts, education experts, and questionnaires from students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of transformational leadership and organizational culture on organizational commitment by examining the mediation of empowering members at Kodim 0510/ Tigaraksa, Tangerang Regency. In total, 252 members completed an online questionnaire that assessed transformational leadership, organizational culture, empowerment, and organizational commitment. The organizational commitment model was tested using a structural equation model. The results showed that empowerment mediates the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational commitment, it also mediates the relationship between organizational culture and organizational commitment.

Abstract

Advancement in technology is something that cannot be avoided in human life. This research is descriptive research with mixed methods of sequential explanation. This design is carried out to explore a research phenomenon involving several data sources. This research aims to evaluate which parts are still obstacles for physical education teachers in using technology in physical education learning. The results of this study indicate differences in the TC domain (Technological Content) in the TC domain; there are differences in the average results of each group, followed by the post hoc test and the Tukey test. The average difference was found between the 1-7 year group and the 29-year-old group. 35 years old, the lowest average score in the group is 29-35 years old, and the highest is 22-28 old

Abstract

This research is classroom action research with the aim of improving students' speed-reading skills. This research is conducted at SDIT Hamas Stabat. The subjects of this study were 20 students of class V SDIT and the object of this research was to improve speed reading skills by using the speed-reading method. This study uses tests, reflections and documentation. The assessment indicator in speed reading is 75 wpm and the success achieved by students is at least 75% of students can read quickly. In the initial test only 4 people who have the ability to read quickly with a percentage of 20% and who do not yet have the ability to read quickly as many as 16 people with a percentage of 80%. In the first cycle there were 11 students who were able to read quickly with a percentage of 55% and those who were still not able to read quickly were 9 students with a percentage of 45%. In the second cycle there was a significant increase with many 17 students who had the ability to read quickly with a percentage of 85% and who had not been able to read quickly as many as 3 people with a percentage of 15%. The speed-reading method can be used by teachers to improve speed reading skills.
