Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia, one of which is the difficulty in distributing and running their production. This also has an impact on MSMEs implementing work from home (Work from Home) for some employees, especially in the production department, so that an increase in employee productivity is needed. This study aims to find out how strategies and factors influence efforts to increase productivity in MSMEs during the Covid-19 pandemic. Using qualitative methods with interactive data analysis, data collection techniques were carried out by moderate participatory observation and interviews. The data is processed in the form of words or descriptive. The results of the study confirm that in increasing employee productivity, MSME X makes efforts, namely: optimizing the work from home system, training employees, evaluating employee performance directly, and meeting employee needs. In implementing the productivity improvement strategy, there are several obstacles or factors that hinder these efforts, namely: education, employee skills, the environmental situation around employees, and work discipline. Employee productivity during the covid-19 pandemic tends to be stable compared to the beginning of its emergence, namely in March, so it is concluded that the productivity improvement strategy has a positive impact.

Abstract

The development of human resources, whether working in the public sector as civil servants, employees of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), as employees of Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD), and the private sector, needs to be carried out in a planned and sustainable manner. In order for human resource development (HR) to be carried out properly, a human resource development program must first be established. The research method is qualitative. The results of the study show that the on-the-job training method includes all efforts to train civil servants in the real workplace. Civil servants do real work, not simulated tasks. Civil servants receive various instructions from senior civil servants who are experienced in their work. The training is carried out in a real work environment under normal conditions and does not require special training facilities. Conclusion The internship program is designed for higher skill levels. This internship program leads to education rather than training called human resource development, in this case knowledge in doing a skill or a series of interconnected jobs. Internship provides employees with various experiences in certain jobs, and or an introduction to the work of the organization or industry. Internships provide civil servants with a wide range of experience at a relatively low cost to an organization.

The discussion starts from the scope of the study of market aspects, technical/operational aspects and financial or financial aspects accompanied by case studies. ALON Farm is one of the authors' objects in this study, which is a cayenne pepper seed business located around the Surade area. Starting from a company that was overwhelmed in providing cayenne pepper seeds, ALON Farm emerged because by promising to fulfill the needs and demands of local farmers. The purpose of this research is to propose and plan the opening of a branch of the cayenne pepper seed business that is deemed necessary in connection with the need for the supply of chili seeds in the Surade area and its surroundings. With the feasibility study method through market aspect analysis from the company's past data for the past 3 years, then the data is processed by using the Linear Trend forecasting method in order to get the estimated total sales for the next 3 years. The company targets production to exceed the estimated sales value with an allowance of 0.1% from the estimated sales. For the technical and financial aspects, secondary data obtained from various sources is used. The results of the feasibility calculation show the NPV value for the calculation period in this study, which is 1-36 months, is Rp103.294.565, the IRR value is 24,42% and the PP is 2,569 years. Because the value of NPV > 0 and IRR > MARR, the opening of the ALON Farm company can be said to be feasible
