Abstract

This research aims to determine the causes of the decline of KOPMA UNP and the factors that influence its development. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and documentation. This research involved 12 informants. Data analysis includes reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions as well as using triangulation to validate the data. Results of the study were obtained. 1) The covid-19 epidemic caused a drop in KOPMA UNP development by requiring all business activities to be conducted online, so that the business was not optimally run, which had an impact on the decrease in SHU obtained, namely in 2019 as much as Rp. 50,088,012, decreased in 2020 to Rp. 3,108,204, continued to decrease in 2021 Rp. (2,129,098), decreased again in 2022 Rp. (-6,875,999). In 2023, KOPMA's SHU has increased even though it still has a loss of IDR (-926,907). 2) Factors that affect the development of KOPMA UNP include the covid-19 pandemic, less strategic business locations, lack of business promotion and low professional and responsible human resources.

Abstract

This research to determine the influence of company characteristics, audit quality, and institutional ownership on information asymetry. The reseacrh method used is aquantitative method. The population in this study are manufacturing companies in the consumer goods and industrial sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) for the 2019-2022 period. The sampling technique in this research uses a purposive sampling technique with a total of 129 data. The data analysis method used is panel data regression analysis, using E-Views 12 software. Based on the results of panel data regression analysis testing, it is known that company age and audit quality have a significant effect to information asymetry. Meanwhile, company size, leverage profitability and institutional ownership have no effect on information asymetry.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the Tahfidz program at SMAN 6 Padang. This research is included in the type of evaluation research using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process and Product) approach from Stufflebeam & Shinkfield. The instruments used for data collection in this research were interviews, observation, documentation and questionnaires conducted on students and teachers. The results of this research show that: 1) Implementation of the tahfidz program is very necessary for students and teachers to develop noble student character; 2) The quality and availability of facilities that support the Tahfidz program still need to be improved, especially in terms of the availability of libraries, technological facilities, worship facilities and sanitation; 3) The implementation of the tahfidz program has run smoothly; 4) The Tahfidz program is considered to have helped students become Hafidz or Hafidzah which has an influence on the students' character.

Abstract

The research aims to evaluate the impact of the marketing mix on the decision to purchase subsidized mortogages (KPR) at PT. Mandiri  Adna Properti, with service quality as a moderating variable. The study is causal in nature and involves customers of PT. Mandiri Adna Properti .  A  simple  random  sampling method was used,  with a total population  of 86 customers. From this population, a sample of 71 customers was selected. The criteria for inclusion were customers who had made a purchase decision at the company. Both primary and secondary data were used. Primary data was obtained through questionnaires distributed to buyers at PT. Mandiri Adna Properti, while secondary data was obtained from reference books and websites. SmartPLS 4.0 software was used to conduct SEM analysis. The  results showed that (1) Product has a significant influence on purchase decisions; (2) Price also has a significant influence on purchase decisions; (3) Location has a significant influence on purchase decisions; (4) Promotion does not influence purchase decisions; (5) Product has a significant impact on purchase decisions when moderated by service quality; (6) Price, when moderated by service quality, has a significant impact on purchase decisions; (7) Location, when moderated by service quality, has a significant impact on purchase decisions; and (8) Promotion, when moderated by service quality, does not significantly influence purchase decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of  internship  experience, internal locus of control, and motivation as a mediating variable on the work readiness of SMKN 2 Pariaman students. This type of research is causative. The research population was all class students of SMKN 2 Pariaman and the determination of the number of samples using the slovin formula was 153 samples. The sampling technique used proportional random sampling technique. The data used is the type of primary data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires to students. The analytical method used is path analysis using SPSS.The results showed that  internship experience did not significantly affect the motivation of SMKN 2 Pariaman students, internal locus of control had a significant effect on the motivation,  internship experience had a significant effect on students' work readiness, internal locus of control has a significant effect on student work readiness, motivation does not significantly affect student work readiness, industrial work experience does not significantly affect student work readiness through motivation as a mediating variable, internal locus of control has no significant effect on student work readiness as a mediating variable.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis hubungan antara pertumbuhan ekonomi, jumlah penduduk, dan tata kelola pemerintahan terhadap Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM) di ASEAN dengan menggunakan pendekatan  Autoregressive Distributed Lag  (ARDL)  . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam jangka panjang, pertumbuhan ekonomi dan tata kelola pemerintahan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap IPM, sedangkan jumlah penduduk berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap IPM. Dalam jangka pendek, pertumbuhan ekonomi dan jumlah penduduk berpengaruh positif terhadap IPM, namun tata kelola pemerintahan tidak berpengaruh terhadap IPM. Analisis cross-section menunjukkan bahwa dalam jangka pendek, pertumbuhan ekonomi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap IPM di Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Filipina, Myanmar, Kamboja, Brunei Darussalam, dan Laos, tetapi tidak di Singapura. Selain itu, jumlah penduduk dalam jangka pendek berpengaruh signifikan terhadap IPM di masing-masing negara ASEAN. Sementara itu, tata kelola pemerintahan dalam jangka pendek hanya berdampak terhadap IPM di Vietnam dan Filipina.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of customer engagement and brand trust on brand loyalty in Xiaomi smartphone users in Padang City with satisfaction as a mediating variable. The population in the study were all people in Padang City who purchased Xiaomi smartphone 2 times. The determination of the number of samples using the Chochran formula. The number of samples in this study were 97 people using purposive sampling technique. The questionnaire was assessed using a Likert scale calculation. Data analysis techniques such as descriptive analysis, data verification, calculating the respondent's answer value and average. then SEM analysis with two stages in the form of measurement model testing used for validity and reliability tests and structural model testing used for causative tests. The data analysis tool used is SmartPLS 4.0. The results showed that (1) customer involvement has no positive effect on brand loyalty. (2) brand trust has a positive effect on brand loyalty. (3) customer involvement has a positive effect on customer satisfaction. (4) brand trust has a positive effect on customer satisfaction. (5) customer satisfaction has no positive effect on brand loyalty. (6) customer involvement has no positive effect on brand loyalty through customer satisfaction as a mediating variable. (7) brand trust has no positive effect on brand loyalty through customer satisfaction as a mediating variable

Abstract

In patriarchal cultures, women often face constraints in participation and empowerment in the tourism sector. This research objective to examine the model of sustainable village empowerment in the perspective of feminism in Bandung Regency. A qualitative approach with a case study method in Bandung Regency was employed. Data collection involved in-depth interviews with relevant stakeholders, participatory observation, and analysis of documents related to village empowerment in tourism. Interpretative analysis was conducted with interactive procedures. The research findings indicate that the model of sustainable village empowerment from a feminist perspective involves several key elements.   This entails support for the development of micro and small businesses owned by women, skills training, and access to fair capital and markets. Feminist perspectives significantly contribute to feminist thought, expanding the understanding of women's empowerment as a struggle for individual freedom and equality amidst the complexity of social, political, and cultural relationships in the empowerment of sustainable village tourism

Abstract

The research aims to analyze the influence  of Brand Ambassador and Social Media Marketing via Instagram on Purchase Decision, with Brand Image as an intervening variable.  The population in this study is all people in Padang city who have ever bought Wardah products, the number of which is not yet known. The determination of the number of samples in this study was 160 people using purposive sampling technique. The questionnaire was measured using a Likert scale calculation. The data analysis technique was descriptive, data verification, then SEM analysis with two stages in the form of testing the measurement model used for validity and reliability tests and testing the structural model used for causative tests. The results of the study show  Ambassador has a significant effect on Brand Image (β = 0.590, p < 0.001) and Purchase Decision (β = 0.290, p = 0.031). Similarly, Social Media Marketing significantly influences Brand Image (β = 0.410, p < 0.001) and Purchase Decision (β = 0.369, p = 0.006). Furthermore, Brand Image serves as an intervening variable, as evidenced by the indirect effect of Brand Ambassador (β = 0.178, p = 0.021) and Social Media Marketing (β = 0.124, p = 0.016) on Purchase Decision. These findings confirm that effective utilization of brand ambassadors and social media marketing strategies can strengthen brand image, ultimately enhancing purchase decisions. Therefore, marketers should optimize these strategies to increase product appeal among consumers.

Abstract

The research objective is to analyze the local wisdom-based community economic empowerment model in Nagari Matua Hilia, especially in the tourism sector. This research explores the extent to which the tourism sector contributes to community income and identifies their expectations of universities and the government in fostering tourism development. The method used is descriptive research with a quantitative approach by providing questionnaires to tourism businesses in the region. The results show that some communities have attended tourism business management training, while others have not had access to such training. The majority of available training is organized by the government, with limited involvement from universities and private institutions. In addition, the average income from the tourism business is around 3 million rupiah per month, which still has the potential to be increased. To strengthen local wisdom-based economic empowerment, more comprehensive and sustainable training is needed, including digital marketing strategies, financial management, and local culture-based tourism product innovation. In addition, increased income can be encouraged through the development of more attractive tourist attractions, utilization of digital technology in promotion, and cooperation with various parties. An empowerment model based on local wisdom can be an effective strategy in optimizing the economic potential of the community and making tourism a leading sector in Nagari Matua Hilia.
