Abstract

Jurnal ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran public relations PT. Astra International Daihatsu Cibeureum Bandung dalam menangani keluhan pelanggan. Jurnal penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Wawancara dilakukan kepada Customer Relations Officer selaku public relations PT. Astra International Daihatsu Cibeureum Bandung, Rachmawati Dian Anggraeny. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran PR sebagai penasihat ahli, PR sebagai fasilitator komunikasi dan PR sebagai pemecah masalah sudah dilakukan dengan cukup baik. Keluhan pelanggan ditangani dengan komunikasi secara tatap muka dan menggunakan media sosial, seperti google my business (GMB) dan instagram dengan respons yang cepat dan komunikatif.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine consumers who still consume cooking oil. The research method that the researcher has done is using a quantitative method. The population in this study are consumers in Indonesia. Analysis and data collection was done by filling out a questionnaire via google. The results of this study stated that as many as 89.8% of 59 respondents stated that it was very influential that the increase in cooking oil prices was very influential in daily life for consumers, as many as 86.4% of 59 respondents stated that it was very helpful that the efforts of the ministry of trade regarding policy one price of Rp.14,000 per liter of cooking oil, 64.4% of 59 respondents said it was very appropriate in the government's efforts to handle the increase in cooking oil prices, as many as 55.9% of 59 respondents said it was very appropriate regarding the efforts of the ministry of trade to carry out negotiations and communication through social media Instagram.

Abstract

Vocabulary through morphemes provides meaningful vocabulary acquisition skill. Students learn to guess the word meaning by looking for prefixes and suffixes in context. The students analyze prefixes and suffixes within the words. Then, the students analyze other context clues such as part of speech around the words. The purpose of this research is to uncover the significant difference between the influence of teaching prefixes and suffixes in context and without context toward students’ English vocabulary development. This research uses quantitative study in line with experimental method. This research was held in SMAN 2 Garut located at Jalan Guntur No. 3 Leles Garut. The population of this research is eight classes of students in the second grade of SMAN 2 Garut. The writer chooses two classes to be sample of the research, they are class XI IPA 1 as experimental group and class XI IPS 1 as the control group. The total numbers of the sample are 66 students. Pre-test and post-test are used to collect research data. Analisis butir soal pilihan ganda is used to test the validity of the data. To find out the reliability of the data, the writer uses split-half method as proposed by Suharsimi Arikunto ( 2009: 93). Because the data distribution is normal, t-test formula is used to analyze the data. Students’ diversity scores averages show that the experimental group gets 40 and the control group gets 30.15. It means that there is positive progress of the experimental group after having the treatment. Based on the data analysis, tcounted = 3.5 and ttable= 1.99. Because tcounted= 3.5 is out of Ho acceptation area, between ttable = -1.99 and 1.99, so that Ha is accepted. It means that Ha is accepted, there is significant difference of influence between teaching prefixes and suffixes in context and without context toward students’ English vocabulary development in the Second Grade Students of SMAN 2 Garut on ninety five percent (95%) significance level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya Pengaruh Iklim Komunikasi Organisasi yang terdiri dari Kepercayaan, Pembuatan Keputusan Bersama, Kejujuran, Keterbukaan Terhadap Komunikasi Kebawah, Mendengarkan dalam Komunikasi Ke atas, Berkinerja Tinggi. Gaya Kepemimpinan yang terdiri dari Kememimpinan Partisipatif, Kepemimpinan Pengasuh, Kepemimpinan Otoriter, Kepemimpinan Orientasi Tugas dan Kepemimpinan Birokrasi terhadap kinerja Pegawai di Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional Perwakilan Provinsi Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey eksplanatory yang bertujuan untuk menjelaskan hubungan sebab dan akibat di antara Variabel-variabel penelitian dengan pengujian statistic Inferensial Analisis Jalur, Populasi Penelitian ini adalah Pegawai Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional Perwakilan Provinsi Jawa Barat dengan mengambil sampel yang ada sebanyak 144 Responden. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa faktor Iklim Komunikasi Organisasi dan Gaya Kepemimpinan mempunyai Pengaruh yang signifikan Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Memberikan Konstribusi Pengaruh sebesar 69,2% , sedangkan Sisanya sebesar 30,8% merupakan pengaruh faktor-faktor lain diluar kedua variabel independen tersebut dalam Penelitian ini. Kesimpulan dari Penelitian ini adalah Terdapat Pengaruh Iklim Komunikasi Organisasi dan Gaya Kepemimpinan baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai di Lingkungan Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional Perwakilan Provinsi Jawa Barat.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of Brand Personality on purchasing decisions mediated by buying interest. This type of research uses quantitative methods by distributing questionnaires through google forms. The population used in this research are followers of the SomeThinc Instagram account and have used products from SomeThinc. The sampling technique in this study was using purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 600 respondents. The analysis technique used is the path analysis method. Path analysis results X to Y With variable Z as the intervening variable, it can be concluded that the brand personality variable (X) has a direct effect on the purchase interest variable (Z) of 0.364. then for the purchase interest variable (Z) has a direct effect on the purchasing decision variable (Y) of 0.482. Meanwhile, the Brand personality variable (X) has a direct effect on purchasing decisions (Y) of 0.312 and an indirect effect of 0.306 because it is through the intervening variable that buying interest (Z) so that the total effect is 0.618. Researchers can draw several conclusions including; 1. Brand personality has a significant effect on purchasing decisions, 2. Purchase intention as an intervening variable is not able to mediate the influence of brand personality on purchasing decisions

Abstract

This study aims to find out describing interpersonal communication through Facebook which can create intimacy relationships to develop into romance. This type of research is a qualitative research with a case study approach. Sources of data used in this study are primary and secondary data sources. The informant determination technique used is purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used are documents, interviews and observations. The results of this study indicate that the phenomenon of love between TP informants and their partners begins and develops from interpersonal communication on Facebook. Facebook has become a place that accommodates interpersonal communication between informants and their partners so that it creates intimacy in their relationship and ends in commitment (dating). In addition, in this phenomenon there are also stages that informants go through when establishing relationships with their partners by online, ranging from curiosity, investigation, testing, increasing contact frequency, anticipation, fantasy integration, to the decision to commit. The results of this study can provide an overview of the parties who also experienced the same thing as the informant. As a result, they can maintain their intimate relationship, be wiser in using Facebook so that they can anticipate unwanted things as a result of using social media.

Abstract

English speaking proficiency is very important to participate in the wider world of work. The speaking proficiency is measured in terms of the ability to carry out a conversation in the language. To improve English speaking proficiency, It ought not to be handiest within the study room however also, it's far a crucial a part of language mastering procedure out of it as students want more exposures, engagement, and assist from which they can research. The students need to accustom themselves to apply English. They need support from the environment to improve and develop their English especially speaking proficiency. This studies is achieved through a case study. This research is performed on the students of the second grade of LP3I Business and Technology College Tasikmalaya in the academic year of 2014-2015. The goal of this research is to discover: (1) the development of English speaking proficiency in LP3I Tasikmalaya Business and Technology College Tasikmalaya; (2) the hassle of developing English speaking proficiency programs in a business and technology college; and (3) the impact of developing English speaking program to the students’ English speaking proficiency at LP3I Business and Technology College Tasikmalaya. The respondents of this studies are ten college students and four English instructors which might be selected by using the usage of the purposive sampling method. The studies statistics are received from commentary, interviews, and document analysis. They are analysed by using three steps, particularly the data reduction, the data presentation/display and the conclusion drawing/verification. LP3I Tasikmalaya has its personal machine which includes some interrelated programs to broaden English skills in fashionable and speaking especially. The result of the research findings leads to the conclusion that: (1) LP3I Tasikmalaya has its own system which consists of some interrelated programs to develop English proficiency in general and to speak in particular. There are English programs that contribute to the development of students’ English speaking proficiency. English activities inside the lecture class foster the students to apply English in the right way to communicate. English activities outside the lecture class create the English atmosphere and accustom the students to speak English by by way of training extra within the English environment. (2) There are some issues in developing students’ English speaking skill at LP3I Tasikmalaya; The students’ difficulties to speak come from psychological factors (confidence, anxiety, motivation, awareness); The students’ difficulties in speaking come from the linguistic factors (pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, fluency, comprehension). (3) There are some superb consequences of developing English speaking programs at LP3I Tasikmalaya to the students’ English speaking skill along with students’ confidence, students motivation, students awareness, college students vocabulary, college students initiative, college students pronunciation, and students’ comprehension in speaking English are enhancing

Abstract

Komunikasi adalah proses pengiriman dan penerimaan pesan mengenai informasi di antara dua orang atau lebih hingga pesan dapat dipahami. Komunikasi vertikal (upward communication) adalah komunikasi yang dilakukan antara bawahan dengan atasan, maka bisa disimpulkan bahwa komunikasi vertikal adalah upaya penyampaian pesan dari bawahan ke atasan mengenai informasi yang berlangsung di dalam perusahaan atau organisasi. Penelitian yang dituangkan dalam Tugas Akhir ini bertujuan untuk Mengetahui cara berkomunikasi Sekretaris kepada Direktur Keuangan PT. Graha Cahaya Mulya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif yang terjadi dan menganalisa data-data yang diperoleh di lapangan melalui metode wawancara kepada sekretaris PT. Graha Cahaya Mulya dan melakukan studi kepustakaan. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa peranan komunikasi vertikal pada PT. Graha Cahaya Mulya sangat memengaruhi produktivitas karyawan, kualitas instruksi yang diberikan pimpinan akan berdampak langsung terhadap hasil kerja yang dikerjakan karyawan.

Abstract

This research examines the context of digital communication and explores audience assessment and survey strategies for radio, to analyze the influence of technology on new research methodologies and re-conceptualize the audience, especially the concept of listeners. This study uses a qualitative approach using Stuard Hall theory, presents new insights into the method of audience assessment and the concept of radio listeners.The results of this study have relevant conclusions and are found about the influence of digitalization and audience behavior. Consider the audience's main concepts and listeners which shows that the audience's main concepts and listeners, conventional radio broadcast broadcasting and audience research are observed to be out-dated or, at least inappropriate to describe today's cross-media, multiplatform and multitasking behavior about media, especially radio.

Abstract

Growing old is a natural law in the story of human life that is destined to live long, where physically as we get older, humans will experience a decrease in the function of tools, as well as the elderly who suffer from Alzheimer's. The purpose of this study was to find out communication techniques, types of message delivery and find out why interpersonal communication is important when there is a fight for family members who suffer from Alzheimer's, because each family has its own ways and habits in daily activities. The theory used in this study uses the theory of Interpersonal Communication, Symbolic Interaction, I-Thou Theory and Therapeutic Communication. The method used in this study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. A qualitative approach is considered. The method in this study uses qualitative methods, because research is a scientific activity that is carried out through a long process for the purposes of gathering information, drawing conclusions about certain phenomena in empirical symptoms. The results of the study It is necessary to have different communication techniques when dealing with Alzheimer's sufferers, communication techniques include informative communication, persuasive communication, command communication and human relations and these four components are one of the techniques used by caregivers. In addition to techniques in conveying communication, it turns out that the types of message delivery carried out by family members with Alzheimer's sufferers are also different, namely by using verbal and nonverbal communication, and the most important thing in dealing with Alzheimer's patients is to think of them like the elderly in general. , and in Communication Studies it is better known as interpersonal communication or face-to-face communication, where this communication is usually a series of message exchanges between two individuals, namely between caregivers and Alzheimer's sufferers and interpersonal communication becomes a very helpful communication activity between caregivers and Alzheimer's.
