Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the SI SAGU Academic Supervision (Information System for Teacher Academic Supervision) model in the academic supervision process in the 3T (Foremost, Outermost, Disadvantaged) area in Bengkayang Regency, West Kalimantan Province. The research method used in this research is a quantitative research method by testing the SI SAGU Academic Supervision model used in the academic supervision process in the 3T area. The research subjects in this study were teachers, principals, and school supervisors in Bengkayang Regency. The instruments used in the study were practical questionnaires and interview guidelines. The instrument used has gone through validation and testing by expert validators, so it is feasible to be used in the research process. The data collection technique in this study was documentation of the results of observations, then giving a perception questionnaire to the SAGU SI users consisting of teachers, school principals, and school supervisors. The results showed that the Teacher Academic Supervision Management Information System (SI SAGU) was effectively used in the academic supervision process in the 3T area, namely Bengkayang Regency. Through SI SAGU, the supervision process can be carried out even though there are some geographical constraints and access to each school. The findings in this study are the effectiveness of the application of SISAGU in the 3T area in the academic supervision process, supported by the active participation and enthusiasm of all relevant stakeholders, namely teachers, schools, principals, school supervisors, and the education office.

This research applied qualitative research with phenomenological methods. The data collection techniques used interviews, observation, and documentation. Triangulation was used to test the validity of the data. The data analysis techniques consisted of data collection, data reduction, data display, verification, and conclusion. Then it presented and concluded from the data that has been analyzed. The findings were as follows: 1) Planning for tembang macapat learning by analyzing the initial conditions of Primary School character education activities; 2) The tembang macapat learning was implemented once a week in the morning assembly and created tembang macapat poster; 3) Evaluations of tembang macapat learning instilled in students were the character of brotherhood, togetherness, affection, courtesy, respectfulness, and humility. Therefore, it concluded that the tembang macapat of gambuh, mijil, and dhandanggula can be used to strengthen primary school character education.

Abstract

Academic resilience is the ability of students to manage negative experiences that suppress the student's learning process by maximizing their potential to become resilient students and have good academic performance with all obstacles and social problems. The purpose of this study was to obtain the results of the academic resilience of SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo students during the Limited Face-to-Face Learning Period (PTM-T). This article measures the resilience level of students with the dimensions of resilience. The research instrument was adapted from the Indonesian Version of the Adaptation Factor Analysis of Academic Resilience Instruments: Exploratory and Confirmatory Approaches using quantitative methods. The sample used was 304 students of SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo. The analysis technique used is descriptive. The results showed that the average level of resilience of SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo students was 103.31 which could be interpreted in the high category. A total of 15 students with a percentage of 4.9% in the medium category and as many as 289 students with a percentage of 95.1% in the high category. This shows that with Limited Face-to-face Learning, students are still able to rise from academic difficulties that can hinder their learning process first during the current Limited Face-to-face Learning (PTM-T) period.

Abstract

The national curriculum of Indonesia has changed several times, more than ten times precisely. Those alterations logically result from science learning political issues, government systems, social culture, economics, and science technology in the community. This study aims to develop integrated science in the science classroom. Qualitative research and document analysis are used in this study. The result of this qualitative research is a deeper analysis of the history of science, science textbook development, and an integrated curriculum for science learning. The history of science depicts that the curriculum change impacted how science integrates with other knowledge in the curriculum. In the last curriculum, junior high school taught integrative science, which differed from integrated science. There are two primary methods used by the Indonesian government to provide textbooks to aid in the implementation of the curriculum: the government development and a non-government publishing company developing textbooks with national standards. The last finding is the integrated curriculum for science learning. There is a relationship between the philosophy of science, integrated science, and science education. This research contributes to science, especially science education, with a term of integrated science model called Biology-Physics-Chemistry and other disciplines-Philosophy (BPCO_P)

Abstract

This research aimed to find the structural equation model of mathematics teachers' Performance in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 that fits according to data in the field. The Research population was secondary mathematics teachers of Riau Province, Indonesia. Research samples were a part of teachers who were taken based on the purposive sampling. The instrument was a questionnaire developed and validated through content and construct validity. Data analysis was a correlational technique with a structural equation modeling approach. The analysis result showed that the structural model arranged based on the literature study and expert FDG fit statistically. Five variables significantly affected the mathematics teachers’ performance in the industrial revolution 4.0 variables that is; Leadership, work motivation, teachers' self-efficacy, teachers' Creativity, and organizational climate. TPACK did not affect the industrial revolution 4.0. Leadership significantly affected Teachers' Self-Efficacy, Teachers' Creativity, Work motivation, TPACK, and organizational climate. The organizational climate significantly affected work motivation, TPACK, Teachers' Self-Efficacy, and Teachers' Creativity. Work Motivation significantly affected Teachers' Self-Efficacy, Teachers' Creativity, and TPACK. Teachers' Self-Efficacy did not affect Teachers' Creativity and TPACK. Teachers' Creativity significantly affected TPACK. Of 15 paths from endogenous to endogenous variables, 13 paths are significant, and two paths are not significant.

Abstract

The research objective is multimedia whiteboard animation's impact on understanding and completing the preparation of non-basic education (non-pendas) students' scientific work at UPBJJ UT Semarang. The research objects are 123 non-pendas students taking scientific work courses at UPBJJ UT Semarang, which are explored using a questionnaire. The research used a qualitative analysis of the completion of the preparation of scientific papers using the Whiteboard Animation learning media. The learning process showed the average good and very good answers of 63.41% in the high category, 68.09% in the very high category for content of learning materials, and 60.16% in the high category for the impact of Whiteboard Animation. Overall, students' perception of the Whiteboard Animation-based learning process is very effective, proven by: 1) 85 students (69.10%) uploaded their scientific work before the lecture was over, 2) the average value of students' perceptions for all indicators was high. The limitations are the difficulty of controlling respondents because the experiment was carried out by students online. The factors assessed are only learning media. To determine whether students will pass or fail, it is not the tutor in charge of this course but the students. Even though students have uploaded scientific papers, they cannot determine it.

Abstract

Education is one of the priority basic services for human resource development. There are two indicators to measure the success in education, known as the accessibility of education and the quality of education. Efforts to determine the level of success of the Government in opening access to education services can be identified from several indicators. These indicators are a benchmark for the success of the Government in opening access to education for the entire community, especially those related to the School Participation Rate. This study aims to determine the existing conditions and analyze the forecasting of determinant factors that affect the achievement of school participation rates in Banyuwangi Regency. This study used a qualitative method with a dynamic system approach. The results showed that the school participation rate in Banyuwangi Regency was influenced by several determinant factors that were interrelated with each other. Based on the existing conditions, there was a need to improve all of the determinant factors. However, an increase in poverty factor as an impact of COVID-19 has encouraged government to provide an alternative policies to avoid the decrease in school participation rates. The results of the forecasting simulation for the next 20 years showed that the behaviour of time from the school participation rate will be in line with the increase in determinant factors in education system, while the results of forecasting education quality showed that within next 20 years, there will be a significant increase in the first two years of the simulation, then there will be an increase in slopes in the opposite direction from the school participation rate and accompanied by an increase in other elements that run in the education system in Banyuwangi Regency.
