Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of digital marketing and sales promotion on consumer purchasing decisions for IQOS products in Indonesia. The research method used is quantitative with a multiple linear regression approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents selected using purposive sampling techniques. The results of the validity test showed that all questionnaire items were valid. Regression analysis showed that digital marketing had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions with a regression coefficient of 0.65 (p <0.05), while sales promotion also had a positive and significant effect with a coefficient of 0.45 (p <0.05). The R² value of 0.63 indicates that 63% of the variability in purchasing decisions can be explained by the two independent variables. These findings indicate that digital marketing has a greater influence than sales promotion in increasing consumer purchasing decisions. Effective digital marketing strategies through social media, online advertising, and the use of big data are key factors in building brand awareness and increasing consumer engagement. Meanwhile, sales promotion plays a more short-term role as a stimulus to attract the attention of new consumers. Therefore, companies are advised to optimize digital marketing to increase customer loyalty and encourage repeat purchases. Keywords: Purchase Decision, Digital Marketing, Sales Promotion

The validity test using Average Variance Extracted (AVE) showed a value of more than 0.50 for all variables, with the highest value in the online customer review variable (0.717). Reliability tests with Composite Reliability and Cronbach's Alpha showed that all variables had values above 0.7, indicating high reliability. The R Square analysis showed that the brand image and online customer reviews variables influenced repurchase intention by 69%. The path coefficient results show that brand image has a significant effect on repurchase intention with a T-statistic value of 7.206 (>1.96) and a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05). Online customer reviews also have a significant effect on repurchase intention with a T-statistic value of 2.096 (>1.96) and a p-value of 0.037 (<0.05). Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) and inflation on poverty in Malang City in the period 2018–2023. The method used is quantitative research with multiple regression analysis. Secondary data was obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and other related agencies, with the dependent variable being the poverty rate and the independent variables being TPT and inflation. The results of the study show that inflation has a significant effect on poverty with a regression coefficient of -0.145 and a significance value of 0.033, indicating that increasing inflation tends to reduce the poverty rate. Meanwhile, the TPT variable does not show a significant effect on poverty (p = 0.725). The regression analysis produces a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.830, indicating that the independent variables are able to explain 83% of the variation in poverty. Although the regression model is significant at the 10% significance level (p = 0.070), it is not significant at the 5% level, so further analysis is needed to understand other factors that can affect poverty in Malang City. In addition, the results of the classical assumption test indicate that the model meets the assumption of normality and does not experience multicollinearity problems. Abstract

This study aims to explore the relationship between freedom and responsibility in social, political, and legal contexts. The main focus of the study is how individual freedom can be implemented in a balanced manner with social responsibility to create harmony in society. The method used is a systematic literature review by filtering relevant research articles in the period 2014–2024. Of the 50 articles identified, 20 articles were selected based on relevance, content quality, and publishing sources. The results of the study indicate that freedom without responsibility can lead to social conflict, abuse of freedom, and societal instability. In the context of media, freedom of expression in the digital era brings benefits in the form of wider access to information, but also poses challenges such as the spread of false information and hate speech. Therefore, digital media regulation is needed to maintain a balance between individual rights and public interests. In addition, effective public policies must consider social responsibility to prevent abuse of freedom in various aspects, including freedom of religion, freedom of the press, and freedom of expression in education. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that freedom must be accompanied by responsibility in order to provide maximum benefits to society at large. Wise regulation, code of ethics, and legal oversight are important factors in balancing both concepts to create a stable, harmonious, and sustainable social environment.
