Abstract

Gratitude and resilience play significant roles among families categorized as pre-prosperous, who are unable to meet the minimum basic needs in terms of clothing, food, shelter, and healthcare. They are part of the recipients of the Village Fund Direct Cash Assistance Program (BLTDD), aimed at assisting them in meeting their livelihood needs amidst the pandemic crisis. Being resilient individuals is crucial for these pre-prosperous families to remain resilient and maintain a quality life despite challenging circumstances. Initial interviews revealed that gratitude for the life they lead contributes to the respondents' ability to navigate their lives. This study aims to understand the role of gratitude in resilience among BLTDD beneficiaries. It is an inductive study utilizing quantitative methods involving 86 aid recipients. The gratitude measurement tool was constructed based on McCullough, Emmons, and Tsang's gratitude theory (2002), while the resilience measurement tool was based on Reivich and Shatte's resilience theory (2002). The validity of the measurement tools was analyzed using confirmatory factor analysis with factor loading scores ≥ 0.5, and reliability was assessed using Cronbach's α coefficient, where the gratitude measure scored 0.934 and resilience 0.884. The research results indicate a P Value < 0.001 and an R2 value of 0.180. Thus, the conclusion drawn from this research is that there is a significant influence of the gratitude variable on resilience, accounting for 18.1%

Abstract

. The UNICEF report states that the prevalence of stunting in children under the age of five (toddlers) in 2019 reached 21.3%. Toddlers are active consumers where they can choose the food they like. Parenting patterns of feeding toddlers play an important role in their growth and development, because they are closely related to the health and intelligence of children. Inappropriate feeding parenting will have an impact on nutritional deficits so that it will trigger stunting. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between feeding parenting and the incidence of stunting. This study is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional research design. Respondents were 48 people, who were selected by purposive sampling technique. The data were processed by statistical tests and analyzed descriptively. The results showed that there were 22.9% of respondents experiencing stunting and most of the respondents had a feeding pattern in the right category (79.2%). The results of the analysis stated that the parenting style of feeding (p < 0.001), family income (p = 0.015), and the mother's last education (p = 0.001) were related to the incidence of stunting. The conclusion of this study is that feeding parenting in the inappropriate category has a risk of stunting 38 times compared to toddlers who are given feeding parenting in the appropriate category (PR = 38,000, 95% CI: 5,494 – 262,851). The results of this study are expected to be an evaluation for parents so that they can pay attention to feeding parenting patterns so that children can grow and develop according to their age stages.

Abstract

This study explored the relationship between subjective happiness and job satisfaction among PPPK teachers. This research involved 77 PPPK teachers from junior and senior high schools in Pekalongan. A nonprobability sampling method employing saturation sampling was utilized in this study. The Subjective Well-being Scale (25 items, α=0.902) was used to measure subjective happiness, while the Job Satisfaction Scale (23 items, α=0.921) was used to measure job satisfaction. Data analysis using Pearson's product-moment correlation revealed a significant positive correlation between subjective happiness and job satisfaction among PPPK teachers (r_xy=0.596; p=0.000, p<0.05). These findings indicate that higher levels of subjective happiness are associated with higher job satisfaction among PPPK teachers. This discovery holds important implications for PPPK teachers in enhancing their job satisfaction and effectiveness in fulfilling their educational roles.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the factors that trigger the emergence of anti-social behaviour and forms of anti-social behaviour in assisted children of LPKA Class 1 Kupang. This study uses a qualitative method. Five people took part in the investigation. Data validity testing was performed through triangulation. Two themes were found in this research: factors in the development of anti-social behaviour and forms of anti-social behaviour. Research shows that anti-social behaviour in children in care is caused by factors that originate within the individual, also known as internal and external factors or those that originate from outside the individual (the environment). Internal factors leading to anti-social behaviour are aggression, curiosity, fear of exclusion, satisfaction/happiness, and lack of regret. External factors that can lead to anti-social behaviour include unhealthy relationships from the participant's environment, such as family, social friends, and social/community environment. This means that relationships with people around him can influence a person so much that they become a factor in developing anti-social behaviour. The forms of anti-social behaviour among children in care are very diverse, such as physical violence, sexual violence, verbal violence, illegal running, theft, and alcohol abuse.

Abstract

The problem of bullying in educational institutions is a significant concern. In schools, peers can bully unaccepted individuals, which can diminish their self-confidence. This research examines the relationship between bullying and self-confidence among Wolwal State High School, Alor Regency adolescents. It is a quantitative correlational study using the Product Moment correlation test. The sample comprises 100 teenagers aged 13-19 from Wolwal village, selected through purposive sampling. Instruments include Radhiah's (2020) bullying behaviour scale, based on Coloroso's (2007) theory, and Cahyono's (2019) self-confidence scale, based on Lauster's (2012) theory. Data analysis reveals that physical, verbal, and relational bullying negatively correlates with self-confidence, indicating that increased bullying leads to lower self-confidence in high school students.

So between the pre-test and post-test, the average value (Mean) is 20.200%. The Paired Sample t-test test has a significant value of 0.000, which means 0.00 <0.05. So it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha. accepted.
