Abstract

Railways in Indonesia still show problems, such as time delays. To make train services in Indonesia better, government efforts are needed, one of which is the development of new infrastructure, such as the construction of a double-track train such as Sepanjang to Mojokerto segment. So it is necessary to analyze the level of service both in existing conditions and after construction. The analysis was carried out in two conditions, namely, full single track and full double track. For full double-track reference, a simulation is carried out with an auxiliary program, namely the Railway Operation Simulator (ROS). By entering data in the form of station layouts, train facilities, and signaling systems and blocks. Based on the analysis results, it shows that the double track in the Sepanjang-Mojokerto segment affects the level of service. The prediction of service levels for the Sepanjang-Mojokerto segment shows that three road plots have LoS A. So, overall, with the construction of the double track, this segment is operating below capacity and has low traffic.

Abstract

The development of post-disaster residential building prototypes is a build-ing design prototype intended for disaster homes that have been designed in previous research. The next research that’s improved on the aspect of reliability in terms of the use of structures, materials, and construction used in the prototype that's can be applied in the field according to the needs of users who are comfortable and safe. To find the optimal building design from the aspect of building safety so that it does not collapse, it is necessary to take into the aspects of equilibrium of form, geometric stability, and rigidity shape that can stand upright and function when inhabited. The composition of the building elements consists of floor, wall, and roof elements that are composed of building materials using light weight steel. The structural arrangement used uses the truss method as a structural system that is simple and easy to implement. To get confidence that the building can stand upright and not collapse due to the loads acting on it, it is necessary to do an analysis using the problem-solving analysis method in stages on the building structure. The treatment results found that the level of displacement of the building caused by horizontal loads did not significantly affect the shape of the building, meaning that the building could still function according to its use. The use of light steel material for the Canal C-75 Smart Truss Classic Frame which is used as a roof frame and wall structure is still able to overcome vertical or horizontal loads acting on the building. This is done so that the confidence that the planned building prototype can be implemented safely in the field as expected.

Abstract

This article is the result of a study conducted by the academicians at the Kampung Adat Segunung tourist destination in Carangwulung village, Jombang Regency. This research involves desk studies and field research. Kampung Adat Segunung has adopted digitalization or advanced technology to improve its tourism industry, such as initiating a website, using Instagram (and all the features), and using the loket.com application as an online ticket sales system for Kampung Adat Segunung. However, it turns out that this adaptation effort does not automatically produce significant progress in the Segunung tourism industry. In contrast, the Kampung Adat Segunung are now facing constraints as they rely heavily on third parties to manage their information and communication technology (ICT). Through a descriptive-qualitative methodology, this empirical analysis found that the concept that digitalization and advanced technology (digital technology) adaptation can automatically increase tourism needs to be improved. Digital technology adaptation must be adapted to the context of tourism locations (localization) to be more effective in driving progress. Unfortunately, Kampung Adat Segunung has difficulty addressing the problem, even though the human resources they have are still incapable of adopting digital technology. Data for this study were collected through desk research or literature study, participatory observation, and in-depth interviews with tourism managers in the Kampung Adat Segunung, Jombang.

Abstract

Biological agent Bacillus sp. Based on the results of previous research, direct use of isolated microorganisms BCZ14, BCZ16, and BCZ20 was able to suppress Fusarium wilt disease. However, Bacillus sp. formulations in suspension form are less effective when applied in the field. This research focuses on analyzing the viability of three isolates of Bacillus sp. against several combinations of bioencapsulation coating materials. The experimental design used was a completely randomized design with a combination of treatment of three isolates and three types of coating materials, namely sodium alginate (B1), carrageenan (B2), and chitosan (B3) each 2%. Each treatment combination was repeated five times. Based on the experiments that have been carried out, the bioencapsulation formulation using 2% chitosan coating material was able to maintain the viability of the three isolates of Bacillus sp. BCZ14, BCZ16, and BCZ20. The population density of the three isolates of Bacillus sp. persisted consistently from the first week to the last week of observation. Therefore, the 2% chitosan coating material can be said to be able to maintain the viability of Bacillus sp. within six weeks.

Abstract

A creative and innovative learning process is an effort to produce creative students, through student activities when studying and the creativity that students can carry out after learning. The key to success in creative and innovative learning lies in the role of the teacher, where teachers are able to create effective learning and facilitate students in developing logical thinking skills. Based on the results of observations carried out in kindergartens in Pakal District, Surabaya City, it shows that the learning process carried out by teachers still lacks creative and innovative teaching and learning activities for students. So far, teachers are only limited to giving lectures and there is a lack of teaching aids in delivering the material, making students less interested in learning. One of the teaching aids that can be used in the learning process is to use illustration-based educational games (APE). The role of teachers at the kindergarten education level can be to select and develop creative and innovative learning resources through educational game tools which can be designed and made as game tools to improve student development. This activity is expected to produce teachers who are able to create illustration-based educational game tools (APE). It is hoped that illustration-based educational teaching aids (APE) will create a creative and innovative learning process for students in partners, as well as provide a social impact on the surrounding community in creating effective learning for children.

Abstract

Evaluation and monitoring of subsidized fertilizer is needed by the Food and Agriculture Security Service to control the distribution of subsidized fertilizer. To make it easier to monitor fertilizer distribution, an information system was created that can control and monitor fertilizer supplies and distribution. At the system needs analysis stage there are several procedures related to users in the system including farmers, distributors, extension workers, and the department itself. The evaluation and monitoring system was built using the waterfall method with needs analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. At the trial stage, system testing will be carried out using the black box testing method. Testing using black box testing aims to find out errors that occur when the system is used by the end user. From the results of testing using the black box method, it was found that the functionality of the system was running well.

Abstract

Many businesses in the past prioritized high profits over the detrimental effects on the economy, environment, and society. The performance of businesses that do not emphasize adverse effects on the economy, environment, and society is unpopular with the general public. Finally, businesses are beginning to consider sustainability-related challenges. The goal of sustainability is to satisfy current needs without jeopardizing the ability of future generations to satisfy their own. Economic, environmental, and social factors make up the three pillars that make up the notion of sustainability. Through sustainability reports, businesses can inform the public about their sustainability performance. The Global Reporting Initiatives (GRI) are the standards used to produce sustainability reports. According to the Financial Services Authority's (OJK) roadmap for sustainable finance, banking also helps to promote sustainability. The activities are carried out by putting green financial products into practice. Green financing products are those that take environmental considerations into account. The Green Finance concept is based on a balance of three points of view (Triple Bottom Line), namely Profit, People, and Planet, which emphasizes not only optimizing economic factors but also paying attention to sustainability and preserving environmental factors. The public also demands that companies follow the Green Finance concept to achieve environmental improvements which must go hand in hand with economic development.

Abstract

Scarcity appeals, which highlight how a commodity or service is scarce due to "high demand" or "limited supply," are frequently used in the tourism industry. However, not all scarcity appeals have the same ability to persuade consumers. The current study investigates the combined effects of consumers' power perceptions and the supply- or demand-framed nature of scarcity appeal in the context of online booking. The results show that when presented with a demand-framed scarcity appeal vs a supply-framed one, customers with a strong sense of power are more likely to make a purchase; however, this difference is less noticeable for customers with a low sense of power. Furthermore, mediation analysis reveals perceived risk as the psychological mechanism behind these effects. The managerial ramifications of online booking systems are discussed.
