Abstract

Purpose: The objectives of this community service activity are: (1) socialization of the concept of food sovereignty to the community in building sustainable welfare. (2) increasing public understanding of the relationship between food independence and quality of life. (3) encouraging community participation in the practice of food sovereignty based on intercultural communication through deliberation. Method: The author uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach. The participants who attended included 30 individuals, and the study employed participatory observation, interviews, and documentation. Practical Applications: The results of the interviews were then analyzed thematically by the author and then grouped based on similarities in views expressed by 5 informants. Conclusion: A communication strategy rooted in local knowledge can enhance awareness; however, sustained efforts and institutional backing are essential for achieving genuine transformation through collaboration with government entities, non-governmental organizations, and the community, particularly the youth.

Abstract

Purpose: This study investigates the urgent need for digital transformation in financial management among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), particularly within the fashion sector in Ciledug, in response to the demands of the Society 5.0 era. The research aims to address the challenges MSMEs face in maintaining accurate financial records and explores the implementation of the BukuWarung application as a practical digital solution. Method: The study employed a participatory approach involving four fashion MSMEs: Rangkayo 2, Rangkayo 3, Rangkayo 4, and 5758 PL. The intervention was conducted through a series of stages including initial surveys, socialization, hands-on training, continuous monitoring, and final evaluation. Data were collected qualitatively through observation and feedback during the assistance process. Practical Applications: The findings demonstrate that the BukuWarung application significantly enhances MSMEs’ ability to digitally record financial transactions such as income, expenses, receivables, payables, and inventory. The application contributes to the creation of more accurate and transparent financial reports, thereby improving digital financial literacy and operational efficiency. It also supports waste recovery and better resource management in small-scale businesses. Conclusion: The study concludes that digital financial tools like BukuWarung can effectively empower MSMEs in adopting modern financial practices. Despite minor technical challenges and initial resistance to routine recording, the overall impact of the intervention was positive, indicating a meaningful step toward sustainable digital transformation in the MSME sector.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to support the digital transformation of Kedungdowo Village by enhancing the use of its website for public services and the promotion of local potential, particularly MSMEs. Method: The activity employed a participatory approach involving socialization sessions, focused group discussions, and hands-on assistance for village stakeholders. Practical Applications: The program resulted in a structured plan to optimize the OpenSID system, including a domain update and improved content management to promote village resources. Conclusion: The initiative successfully improved digital literacy among village actors and established a model for community-based digital governance in rural areas.

Abstract

Purpose: This study addressed the lack of systematic business database and segmentation among Aisyiyah family enterprises in Malang City, which hindered effective economic empowerment planning. It aimed to develop a structured business database and implement clustering methodology to strengthen ISWARA membership through data-driven approaches for more targeted interventions. Method: A participatory action research approach was employed. Data were collected using Google Forms (38 respondents) and printed questionnaires (31 respondents) for members with limited digital access. The data were collaboratively verified with Majelis Ekonomi dan Ketenagakerjaan PDA Malang City, then analyzed using Microsoft Excel to cluster businesses into four main categories and 17 sub-clusters. Practical Applications: The program produced a structured database of 69 businesses, documented 42 products, and enhanced entrepreneurial skills through SWA training (43 participants). The ISWARA Online Market WhatsApp Group was established as a transaction platform, strengthening economic networks and fostering collaboration among members. Conclusion: The research demonstrated that a data-driven, participatory approach can sustainably integrate economic empowerment with digital transformation, providing a replicable model for community-based economic initiatives that strengthens informal leadership and creates measurable impact in women's entrepreneurship development.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to enhance the competence of human resources in preparing high-quality financial reports at the Village Credit Institution (LPD) of Kukuh Traditional Village. As a microfinance institution, LPD plays a crucial role in the local economy, and good financial reporting is essential for implementing Good Corporate Governance (GCG) and increasing stakeholder trust. Method: The research was conducted through community service activities involving interviews, training, and evaluations. A pre-test and post-test approach was used to measure the effectiveness of the training. Practical Applications: The training provided practical knowledge and skills that are directly applicable to the daily financial reporting tasks of LPD staff, supporting the institutional goal of better governance and transparency. Conclusion: The evaluation showed a 64% increase in competence among the participants, indicating that the training program was effective and beneficial for improving human resource capacity at the LPD of Kukuh Traditional Village.

Abstract

Purpose: Organic waste from oyster mushroom cultivation bags in Gayungan Village, RW 03, has long been underutilized. The purpose of making compost from oyster mushroom cultivation bag waste is to improve the community's knowledge and skills in sustainable waste management. Method: The training was conducted through socialization, question and answer sessions, and mentoring, involving 25 participants. The approach used was as follows: quantitative data was collected through pre- and post-training evaluations, while qualitative insights were obtained from interviews and field observations. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics and thematic analysis. Practical Applications: This training effectively improves participants' knowledge and skills in processing mushroom baglog waste into organic fertilizer. This raises public awareness, reduces waste accumulation, and encourages environmentally friendly agricultural practices. Some residents have implemented composting techniques independently, demonstrating the potential for small-scale economic development. This program supports sustainable waste management and community empowerment. Conclusion: This program demonstrates that targeted environmental education combined with hands-on practice can foster behavioral change, promote circular economy principles, and enhance community resilience through sustainable agriculture.

Abstract

Purpose: This program aims to improve the digital accounting competence of Accounting MGMP teachers in Mojokerto Regency through training in Accurate software, aligned with industry needs. Method: The program was implemented for all members of the Mojokerto Regency Accounting MGMP, totaling 15 teachers. Activities were conducted in four stages: preparation, training, implementation with CADE certification, and monitoring-evaluation using competency indicators. Practical Applications: Teachers gained hands-on experience integrating Accurate into lessons, supported by mentoring from practitioners to ensure alignment with DUDI standards. The training was conducted in a hybrid manner (offline at SMKN 1 Sooko and online via Zoom). Conclusion: The program successfully enhanced teachers’ skills in using digital accounting tools, improved teaching quality, and increased student readiness for the digital workforce. Results showed that 15 of 15 teachers (100%) passed the CADE certification, and 83% of students successfully completed the digital accounting assignments without significant errors. However, the study's scope was limited to a single district, and the use of paid software poses potential sustainability challenges. Implications of this study emphasize the need for replication strategies and educational licensing negotiations to expand the training's benefits sustainably.

Abstract

Purpose: This community service aimed to cultivate entrepreneurial spirit among productive-age PKK mothers in RW 10 Sekarpuro Village, Pakis District, Malang Regency. The primary goal was to enhance their income generation capabilities and productively utilize their free time through creative economic activities. Method: A structured batik stamp training program was implemented, utilizing accessible materials and simple stamp-making techniques that can be easily replicated by participants, addressing human resource development needs. Practical Applications: The training focused on developing practical skills in batik stamp production with creative and innovative designs that have economic value, enabling participants to produce marketable handicrafts. Conclusion: The training successfully equipped participants with skills to become reliable entrepreneurs in stamped batik, demonstrating potential for sustainable income generation and community economic development through creative industry engagement.

Abstract

Purpose: The aim of this community service is to have a scenario-based practical use of Artificial Intelligence to enhance video profiling which ultimately to increase people engagement to their religious life. Method: The activity making use of a practical approach to design and develop a profiling video via short training and demonstration to encourage religious activity in providing tutorial own video using available AI tools. It uses children scenario to develop the narration. Practical Applications: Participants using the Generative AI tools to help them in enhancing the existing scenario into video narration. The time efficient video preparation with benefit and less experience is achieved by configuring the setting of the tool and engaging to the scenario. Conclusion: Generative AI has potential to enhance video generation for religious stewardship by providing reliable, less time and more creative in providing a way to achieve goals. In adopting AI tools to support video creation generation with scenario-based has convey into its portion to religious community.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to examine parental involvement in providing social support to bullying victims among junior high school students who reported cases to the Integrated Police Service Center (SPKT) of Palembang Metropolitan Resort Police (Polrestabes Palembang). The research addresses the critical need to understand how parental support influences the psychological recovery of children experiencing bullying. Method: The research employed qualitative observation method to gain in-depth understanding of emotional development and communication patterns of children who are victims of bullying. Practical Applications: The observation was conducted in a private room at SPKT after the victim completed the suspect report form, focusing on social interactions, facial expressions, emotional responses, and daily communication skills. Conclusion: Bullying has serious psychological impacts on victims, including anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts. Victims tend to withdraw and feel isolated. Polrestabes Palembang has implemented educational outreach and counseling in schools to prevent and address bullying cases. Parental involvement proves crucial as a protective factor in children's recovery process.
