Abstract

Drinking water is a very important need for the body. Drinking water can be treated from borehole water sources which are not necessarily free from harmful chemical and microbiological substances such as pH and manganese. The aim of this research is to improve the quality of drinking water from Borehole water. The filter media used is treated natural zeolite type TNZ RC. 42, Activated carbon granular cartridge, and 1 and 3 µm Melt Blown Filter Cartridge. The testing parameter is chemical test (pH and Mn) and microbiology test (total coliform). The increment in pH levels from the research data were obtained sample A of 7,01, sample B of 7,08, sample C of 7,05 and sample D of 7,24, while the decrease in Mn levels from the research data were obtained sample A of 0,387 mg/L, sample B of 0,429 mg/L, sample C of 0,442 mg/L and sample D of 0,501 mg/L. In total coliform sample A, B, C and D of 0 CFU/100 mL, whose value may not exceed the maximum allowed standard of PERMENKES RI No.492/MENKES/PER/IV/2010.

Abstract

Dasar penelitian ini merupakan kajian teori fisika secara kuantitatif dengan cara melakukan kajian literatur. Penelitian ini mengembangkan metode fast-forward dengan batasan sampai pada penentuan keadaan adiabatik dari sistem potensial tangga dengan menggunakan persamaan Schrödinger. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan fase tambahan, potensial tambahan, dan rapat arus adiabatik pada sistem kuantum dengan potensial tangga pada kasus energi lebih besar dari pada potensial penghalang dan energi lebih kecil dari pada potensial penghalang. Metode fast-forward pertama kali diperkenalkan oleh Masuda dan Nakamura yang bertujuan untuk mempertahankan karakteristik partikel dan mempercepat gerak partikel ketika dipindahkan. Hasil yang didapatkan pada penelitian ini yaitu masing-masing kasus memiliki nilai fase tambahan, potensial tambahan dan rapat arus adiabatik. Namun, potensial tambahan tidak berlaku untuk fungsi gelombang yang bersifat real yaitu pada kasus energi lebih kecil dari pada potensial penghalang pada daerah kedua.

Abstract

The introduction to electricity is initiated as early as elementary school, yet it remains a challenging subject despite its practical relevance. The inefficient management of electricity consumption in Indonesian households reflects a widespread lack of understanding in this area. Thus, there is a pressing need for an application to assist users in analyzing their daily electricity usage, promoting more effective management and potentially reducing household expenses. A MATLAB Graphical User Interface (GUI) application is proposed to facilitate users in managing their electricity consumption from providers such as the State Electricity Company (PLN), aiming for optimal utilization. Furthermore, this application could serve as a straightforward educational tool, particularly for physics students, aiding in the comprehension and practical application of electrical concepts in everyday life.

Abstract

This research is classroom action research which aims to obtain an overview of PTK learning using a guided inquiry model, especially on hydrostatic pressure material which can improve students' physics learning outcomes. This PTK was carried out at SMA Negeri 3 Jember in class XI MIPA 2 in the 2023/2024 academic year. This research was carried out in two cycles, in each cycle there were planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. The data analysis used in this research is descriptive qualitative, quantitative and N-gain tests. The problem of this research is in the form of student learning outcomes whose scores are still much below the KKM (77) from 33 students who did not complete as many as 90.90% or 30 students and students who completed as many as 9.09% or 3 students. The research results showed that the average value in cycle I was 37.57 and in cycle II was 84.24. So the increase in the average data on student learning outcomes in cycle II was greater than cycle I, namely 84.24 > 37.57. This is also proven by the analysis of scientific attitudes, the average result in cycle I was 50.28% and in cycle II it was 80.96%. So the increase in the average data on students' scientific attitudes in cycle II was greater than cycle I, namely 80.96% > 50.28%.

Abstract

Revolusi Industri 4.0 menuntut guru untuk menggunakan media pembelajaran yang variatif dan sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman. Salah satunya dengan membuat animasi bergerak beserta materi dan penjelasannya yang dinamakan Moduldroid dengan menggunakan Adobe Flash Professional CS. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media pembelajaran fisika berbentuk Moduldroid tentang Hukum III Newton sebagai alternatif bagi media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan penguasaan konsep Hukum III Newton. Pengujian dilakukan di salah satu sekolah di Kota Salatiga dengan metode ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Berdasarkan data penilaian observer terhadap penggunaan Moduldroid oleh siswa, didapatkan bahwa siswa dapat dengan mudah mengoperasikan dan paham dengan penjelasan materi pada Moduldroid. Selain data tersebut, ada juga data penilaian siswa terhadap Moduldroid  yang menunjukkan Moduldroid layak untuk digunakan dan dapat menjadi solusi belajar alternatif peserta didik dengan tingkat ketercapaian 93%. Berdasarkan data tersebut, Moduldroid dapat membantu guru untuk membuat pembelajaran menjadi lebih kreatif, inovatif.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the feasibility of e-modules based on contextual teaching and learning (CTL), describe learning motivation after using e-modules, and to describe student responses to CTL-based e-modules on temperature and heat material. This research was conducted in class XI MIPA in one of the Bengkulu City State High Schools in the 2023/2024 academic year. The research method uses the ADDIE model which includes five stages, namely analyze, design, develop, implement and evaluate. This CTL-based e-module has gone through the validation test stage with a score of 90.95% with a very feasible category to be used as a physics learning media in the classroom. The results of the learning motivation questionnaire based on the N-gain value are 0.47 with a moderate category so that it can increase student motivation to learn temperature and heat material. The results of the student response questionnaire received a value of 81.22% in the very good category. This shows that the CTL-based e-module on temperature and heat material gets a good response from students.

Abstract

Persamaan gelombang digambarkan dengan menggunakan persamaan differensial orde dua yang terkopel dengan fungsi dari posisi dan waktu. Persamaan ini dapat menjelaskan fenomena pada gelombang universal seperti pada gelombang berjalan dengan medium gelombang tali, gelombang air, dan lainnya. Dalam menyelesaikan persamaan gelombang diperlukan metode numerik mengingat bentuk umum persamaan gelombang merupakan persamaan differensial orde dua yang cukup rumit jika diselesaikan secara analitik. Disini, kami menyelesaikan persamaan umum dari persamaan gelombang dengan metode numerik dan menyajikan solusinya ke dalam bentuk Graphical User Interface (GUI) MATLAB, untuk memudahkan pengguna dalam menganalisa fenomena gelombang yang merupakan fungsi posisi dan waktu.

Abstract

Science process skills have a very important role in the process of forming knowledge. Get students used to learning through scientific work processes, as well as practicing detailed scientific skills and systematic work. The aim of this research is to improve students' science process skills through the application of Hands and Minds On Activity with a Contextual Teaching and Learning approach. The method used is classroom action research. The aspect observed in this research is students' science process skills through description tests which are assessed in each cycle. Based on the research results, students' science process skills can be said to be successful, because the average student score increased from cycles I, II, and II where each cycle had a percentage of 68.0%, 73.9%, and 81.7 %. An increase in the value to 81,7% shows that the success indicators have been met. This is in accordance with the learning target which expects 80% of students to exceed the KKM limit at school.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the feasibility of developing an Augmented Reality-based booklet, measure its impact on student learning motivation, and gauge student responses to the instructional media. The research employs the Research and Development (RND) method, applying the ADDIE model, which involves the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation.The validation results from the product validator indicate an overall average percentage of 88.9%, categorized as highly feasible. The developed booklet successfully enhances students' learning motivation, as evidenced by an N-gain score of 0.48 (moderate category). Based on response surveys, the findings are highly favorable, with media scoring 87%, content 94%, and usefulness 97%.These conclusions are further supported by the increased scores in students' learning motivation, demonstrating that the use of the booklet as an instructional medium effectively enhances student motivation to learn.

Abstract

Pemahaman akan konsep-konsep fisika tidak dapat dipisahkan dengan penggunaan persamaan matematika, seperti pada materi rangkaian listrik DC 2-loop. Hukum Kirchoff I dan II dalam rangkaian listrik 2 loop menghasilakn 3 persamaan linier 3 variabel. Subsitusi-eliminasi adalah metode yang sering digunakan untuk menyelesaikan persamaan linier dengan variable . Penyelesaian persamaan linier dengan variable  dapat menggunakan aturan Cramer, karena lebih efektif dan efisien. Dalam aturan Cramer, determinan matrik orde 3 dapat diselesaikan dengan menggunakan metode minor kofaktor, yaitu jumlah perkaliaan elemen-elemen pada baris atau kolom dengan kofaktor-kofaktor yang sesuai. Sehingga aturan Cramer dapat digunakan untuk menentukan arus listrik dalam rangkaian listrik DC 2 loop dengan menggunakan persamaan . Dari hasil uji coba pada mahasiswa pendidikan fisika Angkatan 1 didapatkan respon positif sebesar 62,77%. Jadi aturan Cramer berbantuan metode minor-kofaktor dapat digunakan sebagai alternative penyelesaian rangkaian listrik DC minimal 2 loop.
