Abstract

This study aims to increase motivation to learn the concept of the sensory system through Project Based Learning (PjBL) using the Quizizz interactive quiz in class XI MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 5 Yogykarta in the 2020/2021 academic year. The type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of the stages of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, documentation, and product assessment techniques in the form of making Quizizz interactive quizzes. The results of data analysis are compared based on success indicators and conclusions are drawn. The results showed an increase in motivation from the first cycle with an average achievement of 72,08 with high interpretation increasing in the second cycle. to 82,58 with a very high interpretation. This increase in value is also seen in the average value based on each aspect of motivational achievement. In the first cycle there are still 3 aspects whose average score is below 75, while in the second cycle all the scores have been completed per aspect. In addition, there is also an increase in the achievement of student product results, in the first cycle of 77,98% increasing significantly to 88,69% in the second cycle. This result exceeds the success indicator, that is, if all students who get a completeness limit score of 75 at least reach 85%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the PjBL model using quizizz interactive quizzes can increase the motivation of students in class XI MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 5 Yogyakarta.

Abstract

This article discuss why and how financial literacy education is very important for students. Inculcating the value of financial literacy in students will greatly affect the understanding and knowledge of financial literacy and also the level of welfare in the future. The role of schools is also very important in providing knowledge about literacy education to students. The cognitive nature of students who are still concrete and are still in the development stage is very effective in instilling the value of financial literacy, with the aim that students who get the PIP (Smart Indonesia Program) scholarship should be able to manage their finances properly, according to their needs and needs as students. The current situation of students who tend to make purchases without paying attention to financial principles so that it can result in irrational buying of their needs. It is necessary to develop a learning design that embraces the dimensions of knowledge and understanding, skills and attitudes regarding financial literacy which will ultimately produce learning objectives and outcomes for the improvement of students' understanding for the future.

Abstract

Teachers had different responses in facing top-down educational innovation. Hence, policymakers must create a map to implement a more effective strategy for innovation success. This study aimed to develop a teacher innovativeness instrument through theoretical development methods. Based on the synthesis of the theoretical research, five indicators were obtained and expanded into 25 four-scale Likert statements. Content validity was proven by eight experts and then quantified by the Aiken formula, resulting in a coefficient of 0.84 or a high category. The trial was conducted on 85 teachers from various levels and regions in Indonesia to get empirical data. Construct validity was proven by Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and resulted in four factors with Eigenvalue > 1 which were factors that underlie the level of teachers innovativeness, namely volition, coverage novelty, structural obedience, and environmental communication. The Principal Component Analysis (PCA) extraction and Varimax rotation proved that all items had good criteria because their factor loading was> 0.4, proving the construct validity. The instrument reliability estimated by the Cronbach Alpha formula resulted in a reliability coefficient of 0.954, or a very high category. Thus, this instrument qualifies as a good instrument and could be utilized singly or with the addition of supporting instruments.

Abstract

This study aims to develop leaflet learning media for science material on healthy food to increase curiosity in class V SDN Kalideres 12 Pagi, West Jakarta which includes the steps in the process of developing leaflet media, the feasibility and effectiveness of leaflet learning media. This research is a development research where the research procedure uses a Research and Development (R&D) model. This development has been carried out with several stages adapted from the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) development research model. Data collection was expert validation and a questionnaire for fifth grade students. The subject of the research was conducted on 32 students who were divided into small groups and large groups. Where the media feasibility data was taken from expert validation by material experts and media experts as well as questionnaire responses for leaflet learning media. For the results of expert validation, the results of design experts and materials experts in their assessments get an average score of 90%, which means very valid, while the results of the validation of media experts with a score of 82%, which means valid. So it can be concluded that the developed media is suitable for use in learning. The effectiveness value is calculated by carrying out the post-test and pretest which will be calculated with the N-Gain for those who get a G value of 0.3> 0.7 in the moderate category (enough effective) So it can be concluded that leaflet learning media for students is effective for healthy food material sub-themes 1, 2 and 3.

Abstract

Technological advances are developing so quickly and rapidly that with the new era, many people like to spend time in front of their smartphones. This is what happened to most of our students. Therefore, as educators we can address these problems by making smartphones as partners in learning. Especially now that there are many new websites that provide educational content. One of them is Canva. Canva is a free platform that provides graphic design. The purpose of this literature review is to analyze scientific articles related to the effectiveness of using Canva as a learning medium for students, especially in science subjects. The method used is the literature review method which is sourced from articles in Google Scholar. The scientific articles used in this literature review are within the last 5 years (2018-2022). Then it was analyzed using the PRISMA concept which consisted of 7 points, namely title, abstract, introduction, methods, results, discussions and conclusions. From the 7 articles obtained, 3 of them stated that Canva could improve learning outcomes in science concepts, increase students' motivation and scientific literacy, and is a proper supporting medium in abstract science learning activities because it can provide visualization so that it makes it easier for students to learn.

Abstract

Kemampuan berkomunikasi dalam bahasa Inggris sesuai jurusan, kemampuan berkolaborasi, dan kreativitas sangat diperlukan oleh lulusan SMK, termasuk Jurusan Desain Komunikasi Visual (DKV). Namun demikian, kemampuan bahasa Inggris khusus jurusan DKV masih kurang, sekitar 67.74% atau 21 siswa menyatakan speaking adalah hambatan. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian Project Based learning (PjBL) diterapkan untuk mencapai hasil belajar dan mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar English for Specific Purposes. Penelitian tindakan kelas, dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi tindakan, dilaksanakan di SMK N 2 Wonosari melalui dua siklus (8 pertemuan) dengan melibatkan 36 siswa DKV kelas X. Guru bertindak sebagai peneliti utama dibantu oleh seorang pengamat. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes, lembar observasi, dan lembar penilaian produk. Analisis data dilakukan dengan membandingkan hasil pada siklus I dan II secara kuantitatif, sedangkan data observasi diselidiki secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek kemungkinan efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa DKV di ESP. Dari segi proses, siswa merasa belajarnya meningkat dari 67% menjadi 100% dan pelaksanaan PjBL yang dinilai guru juga meningkat sebesar 17,67. Peningkatan yang mencolok juga terlihat pada hasil tes siswa yang meningkat dari 69,44% menjadi 100% pada siklus II, dan 80% diantaranya mencapai nilai 80. Kesimpulannya, PjBL dapat menjadi alternatif upaya untuk menciptakan pengalaman yang bermakna dalam bekerjasama, kreatif, trampil berkomunikasi dan mempresentasikan produk berbasis teknologi.

Abstract

Peserta didik merupakan individu yang unik sehingga memiliki karakteristik yang berbeda dari yang satu dengan yang lainnya. Di Kelas XI IPA 1 Plus SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang ini ditemukan gaya belajar yang sangat beragam sehingga perlu pembelajaran berdiferensiasi untuk merespon keberagaman tersebut supaya peserta didik dapat mengoptimalkan potensinya sesuai karakteristiknya Tujuan best practice ini adalah untuk mengetahui dampak penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi terhadap proses pembelajaran dan bagaimana penerapannya pada mata pelajaran Biologi kelas XI IPA 1 Plus SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang. Penelitian menggunakan jenis kualitatif dengan sumber informasi penelitian dari peserta didik dan pendidik mata pelajaran Biologi. Modifikasi RPP pelajaran Biologi berbasis pembelajaran berdiferensiasi berdasarkan keberagaman gaya belajar peserta didik. Hasil observasi peserta didik lebih aktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran sehingga hasil belajar peserta didik sesuai tujuan pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil analisis penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi membawa dampak perubahan perilaku peserta didik dalam pembelajaran. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari keikutsertaan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbasis berdiferensiasi berdasarkan gaya belajar dapat diterapkan di kelas XI IPA 1 Plus SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang.

Abstract

Upaya guru mencapai keberhasilan tujuan dalam pembelajaran adalah dengan menggunakan media untuk mempermudah penyampaian materi ajar yang sudah direncanakan, media internet misalnya, atau dengan istilah lain e-learning merupakan jawaban atas kebutuhan tersebut. Kemampuan penting yang harus dimiliki oleh guru di abad modern dan era digital dalam menggunakan e-learning adalah sebuah keharusan. Tujuan penelitian ini yakni untuk mengetahui sejauh mana kemampuan guru dalam menggunakan e-learning sebagai media pembelajaran di era digital dan juga hambatannya di SMP fatahillah kecamatan tambakdahan kabupaten subang. Sedangkan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Kemudian teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian yang didapatkan bahwa guru dalam menggunakan e-learning sebagai media pembelajaran di era digital di SMP fatahillah kecamatan tambakdahan kabupaten subang sudah terampil dan memadai, apalagi didukung dengan sarana prasarana yang baik membuat pembelajaran menggunakan e-learning sebagai media pembelajaran berjalan lancar sesuai harapan. Hanya saja intensitas penggunaan e-learning jarang dilakukan. Selain itu guru kurang memanfaatkan kekayaan fitur aplikasi pendukung pembelajaran e-learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe using Google Document-assisted Discovery Learning and to find out the improvement critical thinking skills and collaboration in Derivative Algebraic Functions material for the 2020/2021 academic year. The research subjects were 36 students in class XI IPA 4 at SMA N 1 Yogyakarta. The study was divided into two cycles of two meetings each. Each process is divided into four stages: planning, execution, observation, and reflection. Critical thinking and collaboration skills are assessed using observation sheets and questionnaires distributed at the second cycle meeting. The results demonstrate that applying the Google Document-assisted Discovery Learning model to Algebraic Function Derivative material can enhance the students' thinking and collaboration skills. Critical thinking skills increased from 85.65% in cycle 1 to 89.35% in cycle 2 with the essential category, while collaboration skills increased from 85.45% in cycle 1 to 90.58% in cycle 2 with the very collaborative category.

Abstract

This article aims to find out how the relevance of Ibn Khaldun's educational thoughts to Indonesian education today. This article was examined using qualitative methods with a type of library research approach. The sources obtained in this article are through journals, books, and notes related to the problem under study. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be interpreted that Ibn Khaldun's educational thinking is still very relevant to Indonesian education today. This can be seen from the concept of goals, methods, educational curricula and the concept of educators put forward by Ibnu Khaldun in line with education in the modern era of Indonesia. One example of how Ibn Khaldun's concept of education is in line with the modern era of education can be seen from his educational goals. The purpose of education put forward by Ibn Khaldun is to create intelligent students by developing reason by seeking knowledge, creating students who have a high democratic and social spirit with social skills and creating students who believe and fear Allah SWT by increasing spirituality. This is in line with the current educational goals.
