Abstract

Differentiated learning is an effort made to align the learning process in the classroom to meet the learning needs of each student. Student needs are grouped into three aspects, namely; Learning Readiness (Readiness), Student Interests and Learning profile. The existence of differentiated learning facilitates a diverse classroom atmosphere by providing space to obtain content, process ideas and improve the learning achievement of each student, so that students can learn optimally. This research was conducted to find out about how differentiated learning is implemented in an effort to fulfill the learning needs of students at SMP Negeri 1 Palmatak in social studies subjects, so the focus of this research is social studies teachers and school principals. The research method used is a qualitative method - descriptive. The results of the research show that the implementation of differentiated learning in an effort to fulfill students' learning needs at SMPN 1 Palmatak, especially in social studies subjects, has been carried out by starting an agnostic test to determine the students' learning needs, learning interests and learning profiles. The implementation carried out has not been carried out optimally because differentiated learning is new for them. However, the implementation of differentiated learning is starting to be carried out with an approach to content aspects, process aspects and product aspects.

Abstract

Learning, including the curriculum and approaches implemented, must continue to be adapted to student needs. Teachers need to know that each child has their own characteristics and learning styles, so that teachers can determine the right approach for their learning process. The appropriate approach in the independent learning perspective that is currently being implemented in the national education system is a differentiated learning approach that allows students to take a more active role in the learning process and the freedom to use their own learning styles to acquire skills and knowledge. This approach is appropriate if applied to social studies learning, social studies learning is a subject related to humans and the environment. The method used in this research is a literature study obtained by searching for literature sources that are relevant to the research topic. Through this differentiated learning, students can focus on their potential and skills and teachers can facilitate students by adjusting students' learning needs so that students can maximize their potential and skills.

Abstract

The development of Industry 4.0 is a challenge for the world of education, including Islamic religious education (PAI) learning. Teachers are required to be able to face more complex challenges. There are many complexities in the challenges of the industrial revolution 4.0 in the field of PAI learning. This research aims to find out about Islamic religious education learning innovations in industry 4.0 at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bantul. This research uses qualitative research methods which are delivered descriptively. PAI learning innovation is applied with the term "Kaizen" which comes from the Japanese concept of Continuous Incremental Improvement. Kaizen includes 5 stages that have the prefix "S", namely: Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, and Shitsuke.

Abstract

The increasingly rapid development of globalization has triggered the development of education in the field of increasingly advanced technology. In the field of educational activities there is an adaptation of learning activities to technological developments. Based on this, of course the role of learning media is also needed in the field of education. The aim of the research is to analyze the application of the Kahoot application in Pancasila education to create exciting and educative learning. The research method uses qualitative research with a literature review approach. The results of the implementation carried out at SD Negeri 1 Pengasih from 20 November 2023 to 1 December 2023 show that Kahoot can increase students' understanding and involvement in the values ​​of Pancasila. In conclusion, Kahoot media can be used to support exciting and educational learning activities that are implemented in Pancasila education learning. Learning carried out in the classroom can use ICT-based media such as Kahoot. This is because the use of Kahoot media is easy to access, so it will indirectly have an impact on increasing student motivation. Innovation in learning is certainly needed in learning activities to create good learning and is related to the role of increasingly sophisticated technology.

Abstract

In the current era of disruption, the need to learn English is very important, therefore several digital applications have been created to make learning English easier, especially for students. U-Dictionary is a popular English learning application that can be used as an option, therefore this research aims to analyze the effectiveness of using the U-Dictionary application in increasing students' interest in learning at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah and what students' perceptions are regarding the use of U-Dictionary in increasing interest in learning languages. English at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. This research uses mixed methods. The data collection technique used in this research is a questionnaire. Data analysis used the paired t-test data analysis technique with the Shapiro-Wilk normality test. Meanwhile, the qualitative analysis uses content analysis. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be seen that the U-Dictionary application is effective in increasing students' interest in learning at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah with a significance value (<0.001). The results of the questionnaire regarding students' perceptions of using U-Dictionary, the majority of respondents had a fairly high level of use, a fairly high level of self-confidence, the ability to understand good English vocabulary, a fairly high level of interest in learning English, and felt that learning English is quite effective or very effective.

Abstract

This research discusses about the analysis of the constructivist learning theory application approach to students critical thinking abilities in elementary schools. The method used is a qualitative research method of literature study/library review. Students whose learning applies a constructivist theory approach show an increase in problem-solving abilities and providing solutions. This is one of the successful characteristics development of students critical thinking skills. This research has big implications, especially in the application of learning theories which are able to provide positive progress in developing students critical thinking abilities. The constructivist learning theory application approach focuses on teachers as facilitators and moderators also students who play an active role in building new knowledge, exploring their own knowledge based on what they understand and encounter in their lives. Positive collaboration between students and teachers in the constructivism theory application in learning is indicated to be able to improve critical thinking skills, student understanding and the quality of learning. The conclusion from this research is that the constructivism theory application can improve elementary school students critical thinking abilities.

Abstract

This study aims to describe character education implemented through an ethnopedagogical approach integrated in the learning process in elementary schools in order to shape and improve the character of students. The ethnopedagogical approach implemented at Banjar Agung 2 State Elementary School is implemented in grade 6 with Indonesian language content. The activities are divided into 3 learning phases, namely the initial activities, core activities and final activities. Ethnopedagogy in this study focuses on the local wisdom of the people of Serang City. The method used in this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach, the data is collected using observation techniques, interviews, field notes and documentation. The result is that learning by using ethnopedagogical approach is proven to be able to form and improve the character of students, namely religious, nationalist, mutual cooperation, integrity, and independent characters. The results of the discussion in this study show that the ethnopedagogical approach is open to be applied at different grade levels and subject content, depending on the level of creativity and innovation of a teacher.

Abstract

The culture of mutual cooperation is starting to disappear in society along with the times. One of the schools that supports character education is SD Negeri Kebaharan 1 Serang City which focuses on developing the character of mutual cooperation. The aim of this research is to describe mutual cooperation activities to form a positive culture for students. This research uses a case study with a qualitative approach. Data was obtained through observation and interview methods, data collection was used to collect data thoroughly and in depth. Based on the research data, it can be concluded that the activities carried out at SD Negeri Kebaharan 1 show that students and educators have instilled a collaborative attitude, namely the character of mutual cooperation, so that it becomes a positive culture in the school. This is shown by the habituation carried out at school both inside and outside the classroom or learning activities, the majority of the number of students or if the percentage is 75% of the 354 students shows that the nature of mutual cooperation is categorized as good and the formation of a positive culture at SD Negeri Kebaharan 1 Serang City has been carried out by educators and it has been proven that a positive school culture has been formed, namely: implementing school rules, love of cleanliness and the environment, good tolerance, and being religious.

Abstract

Cognitive ability is a child's ability to think more complexly, reason, and be able to solve problems. Nowadays, teaching staff uses various digital learning media that are in line with technological developments in the 21st century. Teachers' mastery of using technology in creating new learning media and students' interest in learning are related to and influence cognitive abilities because learning media is fun. Students will increasingly understand history learning and students' knowledge will increase. This research uses a systematic literature review method with a PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis) design study, which consists of several stages, namely data selection strategy, research criteria, and data extraction. This systematic literature review research aims to find out how the cognitive development of students who are taught using digital learning media is viewed from Jean Piaget's cognitive theory. Based on the results of this research, it is known that digital learning media affects improving and stimulating children's cognitive development as viewed from Jean Piaget's cognitive theory. It is hoped that the use of digital learning media in the future will be able to support children's cognitive development in the learning process at school while still paying attention to children's characteristics.

Abstract

The success of guidance and counseling services in schools can be seen from various factors, one of which is the application of Guidance and Counseling management in schools. The aim of this research is to analyze the management function of Planning, Organizing, Actuating and Controlling (POAC) in the implementation of Guidance and Counseling services in Schools. The method in this research uses quantitative descriptive methods. The population in this study were Guidance and Counseling teachers in South Jakarta. The sampling technique in this research uses nonprobability sampling, because the sample used takes all members of the population that will be sampled with a total of 150 people. The research results also show that the application of the POAC management function in Guidance and Counseling services in schools is in the medium category and also occurs in partial data, where there are various factors that must be developed by Guidance and Counseling teachers in implementing Guidance and Counseling services in schools.
