Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of Practical Life Skill activities in increasing the independence of children aged 3-4 years at KB Anggrek Tegalsono. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with 17 children as research subjects in October 2025. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that Practical Life Skill activities implemented in the learning routine had a positive influence on the development of children's independence. Most children showed development in the Starting to Develop (MB) and Developing According to Expectations (BSH) categories, especially in the ability to put on shoes, tidy up toys, pour water, and clean up the table after the activity. Consistent habituation factors and gradual teacher guidance play an important role in encouraging children to be independent. Thus, Practical Life Skill activities are effectively implemented as a learning strategy to foster independence in early childhood, with ongoing support from teachers and parents.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the extent to which the use of audio-visual media can increase elementary school students' interest in learning Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS). The background of the study began with low student engagement during the learning process, which still focused on conventional methods. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach , with research subjects including teachers and fifth-grade students of SDN Tunggak Cerme. Data were collected through observations of learning activities, in-depth interviews, and review of learning documents, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model which includes the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the use of audio-visual media was able to foster focus, increase activeness, and build positive attitudes in students towards IPAS learning. Students appeared more enthusiastic, participated in discussions, and more easily understood the material through interesting videos and animations. Teachers considered this media effective in creating a fun and interactive learning atmosphere. However, obstacles were also found such as limited technological facilities, lack of training for teachers, and minimal support from school policies. Thus, the success of implementing audio-visual media is greatly influenced by the creativity of educators, the readiness of facilities, and support from educational institutions. Overall, this study concludes that the use of audio-visual media has great potential in increasing students' interest in learning and is a strategic step towards more innovative and meaningful science learning in elementary schools

Abstract

This study discusses the innovation of Qur'anic learning at the elementary school level through the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based technology. The background of this research lies in the low level of students' Qur'anic literacy, which is mainly caused by the limitations of conventional teaching methods and the lack of learning media variations. The research method applied is library research by analyzing various literature related to the implementation of AI in education. The findings show that AI has the potential to enhance the effectiveness, interactivity, and personalization of Qur'anic learning. Examples include speech recognition technology to improve recitation, tahfidz applications to monitor memorization progress, and gamification features to increase students' learning motivation. However, challenges such as limited infrastructure, teachers' readiness to master technology, and curriculum adaptation remain significant issues. In conclusion, the application of AI in Qur'anic learning is a strategic solution to improve students' Qur'anic literacy while supporting the formation of a Qur'anic generation that is religious, adaptive, and technologically literate.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the existence and socio-religious dynamics of the Muslim minority community in Janji Matogu Village, Toba Regency, from 1970-2020. The primary focus of this research is the cultural adaptation process carried out by the Muslim community amidst a Christian majority environment deeply rooted in Batak customs. The research employs the historical method, consisting of four stages: heuristics, verification, interpretation, and historiography. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with religious and traditional leaders, field observations, and searches of local historical documents. The results indicate that the existence of Muslims in Janji Matogu is maintained through a “social syncretism” strategy, where Islamic identity is preserved without abandoning the values of Dalihan Na Tolu. The dynamics over five decades show a shift from mere survival to the strengthening of educational institutions and places of worship in harmony. This study concludes that cultural adaptation is the key to social integration, proving that differences in belief do not hinder community cohesion within the framework of inclusive Toba local wisdom.

Abstract

This article examines the epistemology of the Quranic hudan as a conceptual framework in confirming the validity of contemporary interpretations of the maqasid of the Quran Hudan is understood not merely as a normative guide but as an epistemic system that guides the human reasoning process in understanding the objectives of revelation This study aims to show that the formulation of the maqasid of the Quran must be rooted in a divine orientation so as not to be trapped in rational relativism and pragmatic interests By using a qualitative approach based on literature studies and conceptual analysis this article asserts that the epistemology of hudan functions as a normative methodological and evaluative foundation in the interpretation of maqasid The results of the study indicate that hudan is able to maintain a balance between loyalty to revelation and responsiveness to social reality so that the maqasid of the Quran remains relevant valid and has theological legitimacy in responding to the challenges of the contemporary era.

Abstract

Indonesia is a disaster-prone country that requires the strengthening of disaster mitigation education from an early age, including through school-based learning. The abstract nature of mathematics often causes students to struggle with applying mathematical concepts to real-world situations. This study aims to develop disaster mitigation-based mathematics learning materials and to test their feasibility and effectiveness in improving the mathematical application skills of junior high school students in Pidie Jaya Regency. This study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects were junior high school students in Pidie Jaya Regency. Research instruments included an expert validation sheet, a student response questionnaire, and a mathematical application skills test. Data were analyzed descriptively to determine the validity and practicality of the media, and gain score analysis was conducted to assess the effectiveness of the learning media. The results indicate that the disaster mitigation-based mathematics learning media falls into the “feasible” to “highly feasible” categories. Student responses were positive, and test results showed an improvement in students’ mathematical application skills after using the learning media. Thus, the developed learning media is effective as an alternative for contextual learning and supports disaster mitigation education in schools.

Abstract

Halal certification services for MSMEs have become increasingly important amid the strengthening of halal certification obligations, the acceleration of public service digitalization, and the growing demand for services that are simpler, faster, and more responsive. This condition creates an urgent need to examine the extent to which halal certification services have progressed toward digital maturity from a public innovation perspective. This study aims to analyze the movement of halal certification services for MSMEs toward digital maturity by focusing on process integration, ease of access, quality of assistance, and user orientation. The theoretical framework draws on public innovation, public service quality, and digital maturity. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design based on document analysis and secondary data, using documentation techniques, purposive sampling, and thematic analysis. The findings show that halal certification services have been digitalized and institutionally strengthened, yet their level of maturity remains developing because process integration, service standardization, and user experience have not been fully consistent. These findings indicate that digital transformation in service delivery requires institutional capacity, not merely the existence of digital platforms
