Abstract

PLN UPT Karawang is responsible for managing electricity transmission assets across the regions of Karawang, Bekasi, Purwakarta, and Subang, with a total capacity of 6,530 MVA from 60 transformer units, serving 17 high-voltage consumers. By the end of 2024, this unit had fulfilled only 95.14% of its workforce requirements, which may lead to excessive workloads, reduced work-life balance, and increased risks of fatigue and declining employee well-being. Furthermore, a drop in the work engagement index from 89.74% in 2022 to 88.89% in 2023, along with suboptimal achievements in the Work Condition and Recognition dimensions, reflects potential weaknesses in organizational support and recognition for employees. This decline indicates a weakening in leadership quality, supervision, and organizational culture, which can negatively affect employee motivation, job satisfaction, and loyalty. Additionally, a reduced sense of meaningfulness in work and worsening working conditions may lower productivity and increase stress levels. This study aims to analyze the influence of direct supervisor support and work-life balance on employee work engagement at PLN UPT Karawang. Data were collected through a questionnaire using a 1–5 scale and analyzed using the Partial Least Squares method within the Structural Equation Modeling framework. The results indicate that both organizational support and work-life balance have a significant influence, both partially and simultaneously, on work engagement. The coefficient of determination value of 0.406 suggests that 40.6% of work engagement is explained by these two variables, while the remaining 59.4% is influenced by other factors. This study is limited by the scope of respondents and variables, so future research is recommended to broaden the population and include other variables such as leadership, organizational culture, and psychological well-being to gain a deeper understanding.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine employee engagement, employee performance, and financial performance at BNI, as well as to determine the influence of employee engagement on employee performance and financial performance, both partially and simultaneously. This is a quantitative study with verification approach. The research instrument used is a questionnaire employing a Likert scale. The collected data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS) to test the relationships between latent variables. The PLS method was chosen due to its ability to analyze data with a moderate sample size and without requiring the assumption of data normality. Based on a literature review and preliminary survey results, this study proposes three hypotheses: first, there is a relationship between the level of employee engagement and employee performance at BNI; second, employee performance influences company performance; and third, employee engagement affects company performance.

Abstract

Electricity is a fundamental necessity in modern life, and the transition toward the use of environmentally friendly energy has become a global priority to achieve Net Zero Emissions (NZE). The Indonesian government has targeted NZE by 2060, with PLN as the primary actor in supporting energy transition programs such as Electrifying Lifestyle and the development of electric vehicle infrastructure. One significant finding from the Electrifying Lifestyle campaign related to electric vehicles is the remarkable surge in home charging adoption, which recorded a 335% increase in the first semester of 2024 compared to the same period in the previous year. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing public intention to install home charging, particularly through the perspective of the Electrifying Lifestyle campaign on social media. Using the Theory of Planned Behavior, this research explores the influence of variables such as product knowledge, environmental concern, ecological lifestyle, perceived benefits, innovation, and optimism on consumer attitudes, as well as the role of digital campaign effectiveness on brand awareness and purchase intention. The research findings show that respondents' answers for each variable—including consumer attitude, social media marketing, brand awareness, and purchase intention—fall into the good category. Consumer attitude is significantly influenced by product knowledge, environmental concern, ecological lifestyle, perceived benefits, technological innovativeness, and technological optimism. Consumer attitude also has a significant positive effect on purchase intention but is negatively moderated by perceived consumer effectiveness. Additionally, social media marketing has a significant positive effect on both brand awareness and purchase intention, and brand awareness also significantly influences purchase intention. These findings emphasize the importance of digital marketing strategies and strengthening the perceived benefits of technology in promoting the adoption of home charging to support increased environmentally friendly electricity consumption and accelerate the achievement of NZE targets in Indonesia.

Abstract

Effective human resource management is crucial to achieving organizational success, especially in the face of escalating competition. With the intervening variable, job satisfaction, this study aims to explore how the work environment and pay affect employees' inclinations to leave. A quantitative approach was used, taking turnover intention as the dependent variable and job satisfaction as the mediating factor, and work environment and rewards as the independent factors. PT LEN Industri's permanent employees (PKWTT) made up the study population, and 184 of them were selected through non-probability purposive sampling. The validity and reliability of the research instruments were assessed using SmartPLS 4.0, and the data were descriptively analyzed using a continuum line and validated using structural equation modeling (SEM). The results show that incentives and the work environment both greatly increase job satisfaction, which is crucial for reducing the desire to leave.

Abstract

The Indonesia Sharia Stock Index (ISSI) serves as a key indicator of sharia-compliant stock performance on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study investigates the impact of macroeconomic factors—interest rates, exchange rates, inflation, oil prices, and gold prices—on ISSI volatility from January 2015 to December 2024. Utilizing a quantitative approach with multiple regression analysis, the findings reveal that interest rates significantly negatively affect volatility (coefficient -0.509, significance 0.001), indicating that higher interest rates reduce market volatility. In contrast, the exchange rate and inflation show no significant effects (coefficients -0.308 and 0.144). World oil prices have a marginal negative impact (coefficient -0.200), while gold prices are not significant (coefficient 0.045). ANOVA results confirm that all independent variables collectively influence ISSI volatility significantly (significance 0.005). This research underscores the importance of macroeconomic factors in investment decision-making within the sharia market and suggests future studies incorporate sectoral analysis and additional control variables for deeper insights.

Abstract

The increasing volume of consumer reviews on e-commerce platforms has highlighted the need for sentiment analysis methods capable of capturing user opinions more specifically concerning particular aspects of products or services. Aspect-Based Sentiment Analysis (ABSA) addresses this need by identifying the aspects discussed in a review and determining the polarity of sentiment expressed toward each aspect. This study aims to explore and compare the effectiveness of two deep learning models, namely Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) in performing ABSA on Indonesian-language e-commerce user reviews. The research methodology comprises several stages: data exploration and cleaning, text preprocessing, aspect and sentiment annotation, training of CNN and LSTM models, and performance evaluation using metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. The dataset is divided into training, validation, and testing subsets. The analyzed aspects include delivery, product, price, application, and service. Results show that the LSTM model outperforms CNN across all evaluation metrics. LSTM achieved an accuracy of 86.10%, precision of 85.70%, recall of 85.90%, and an F1-score of 85.80%, while CNN reported slightly lower values. Based on these findings, LSTM proves to be more effective in understanding the contextual and linguistic structure of the Indonesian language in ABSA tasks. This study provides a valuable contribution to the development of automatic sentiment analysis systems in the e-commerce sector. Future research can expand this approach by incorporating transformer-based models such as IndoBERT or integrating attention mechanisms to further improve predictive accuracy. These findings offer practical insights for industry stakeholders seeking to enhance customer experience through a deeper understanding of user sentiment.
