Abstract

The rise of digital technology has fueled the growth of e-commerce in Indonesia, including mobile apps like Klik Indomaret, a digital platform by one of the country’s largest minimarket chains. Despite its convenience and user-friendly features, Klik Indomaret struggles with customer loyalty, as seen in moderate app ratings and mixed reviews. While previous studies show that e-service quality, perceived value, and e-trust can enhance satisfaction and loyalty, this relationship isn’t always consistent in practice. This study investigates the impact of e-service quality and perceived value on customer loyalty, with e-trust and satisfaction as mediating variables. Using a quantitative approach and PLS-SEM analysis of survey data from Klik Indomaret users, the research offers insights into digital consumer behavior and provides strategic recommendations for improving customer retention.

Abstract

This study examines the relationships between utilitarian value, hedonic value, social value, trust in product, trust in platform, and purchase intention in the context of Wardah beauty products on TikTok live streaming. Using Structural Equation Model (SEM) with SmartPLS on 384 respondents, the research found that social value demonstrates the strongest influence on purchase intention (β = 0.368), followed by utilitarian value (β = 0.188) and hedonic value (β = 0.105). Notably, trust in platform significantly influences purchase intention (β = 0.171, p = 0.001), while trust in product does not (p = 0.810). The model explains 62.8% of purchase intention variance with strong predictive relevance (Q² = 0.420). Results indicate that social interactions and platform trust are more crucial than product-specific trust in driving consumer purchase decisions in live streaming commerce. These findings suggest that beauty brands should prioritise social engagement and platform reliability over traditional product-focused marketing strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to test the upper echelon theory by examining how CEO narcissism and optimism affect sustainability report disclosure. This study uses panel data regression with Eviews 12 on sample data of 238 companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) that published sustainability and annual reports 2021-2023. Frim size, firm age, leverage, and profitability are included as control variables. The results indicate that CEO narcissism negatively influence on sustainability report disclosure while CEO optimism positively influence on sustainability report disclosure. The presence of the firm age control variable changes the findings. CEO characteristics no longer affect sustainability report disclosure after the addition of the company age control variable in the regression model. The results of this study has practical implications for the board of commissioners and shareholders namely the importance of considering psychological aspects, such as narcissistic traits and the level of CEO optimism, when selecting and compiling the structure of the company's board of directors.

Abstract

Risk management in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects within the mining sector is critical to ensure project success and avoid potential disruptions. PT. XYZ, a company engaged in mining infrastructure development, faces a variety of risks ranging from technical and logistical challenges to external and environmental uncertainties. This study aims to identify and analyze the risks present in EPC projects carried out by PT. XYZ. The research begins with risk identification through expert interviews and document analysis, followed by a qualitative risk analysis based on the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) framework to assess the probability and impact of each risk. The findings reveal several high-priority risk factors that require focused attention in future project planning. This study is expected to provide valuable insights into risk conditions in EPC projects and contribute to better risk-informed decision-making processes for PT. XYZ.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of servant leadership and intrinsic motivation on affective commitment and employee performance. Employing a causal research design with a quantitative approach, data were collected using a saturated sampling method from 90 employees. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS) with the SmartPLS 4 software. The results indicate that servant leadership has no significant effect on affective commitment but has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Intrinsic motivation positively and significantly affects both affective commitment and employee performance. Furthermore, affective commitment has a significant positive effect on performance. However, affective commitment does not mediate the relationship between servant leadership and employee performance, whereas it does mediate the relationship between intrinsic motivation and performance.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of flexible work arrangements on productivity in start-up companies located in Bandung Techno Park, using work-life balance as a mediating variable. With a sample size of 168 start-up company members in Bandung Techno Park (BTP), this study uses a probability sampling technique. This study uses quantitative research techniques and structural equal modeling (SEM) based on partial least squares (PLS-SEM) for data analysis. Based on the results of the study, work-life balance and increased productivity are greatly enhanced by flexible work arrangements. The mediating variable of work-life balance acts as a mediator between productivity and flexible work schedules. The findings of this study can be a guide for business management who want to increase the productivity of start-up companies through work arrangement solutions that support work-life balance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the influence of Person Job Fit and Work Life Balance as well as Job Involvement on Employee Performance at Representative Offices. At the Indonesian Ombudsman, Assistant Ombudsmen are employees who support the Ombudsman in carrying out their supervisory functions in the provision of public services. The influence between variables was measured using the Structural Equation Modelling - Partial Least Square 4 approach. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires to 48 Ombudsman employees (Assistants) at the Representative Office. The results of the study indicate that Person Job Fit has a significant influence on Job Involvement and Employee Performance. Work-Life Balance also shows a significant influence on Employee Performance but does not show a significant influence on Job Involvement. While Job Involvement can act as a mediator between Person-Job Fit and Employee Performance, it cannot act as a mediator between Work-Life Balance and Employee Performance. Thus, job fit, which includes skills, interests, values, experience, and expectations, can help an Ombudsman employee achieve their individual performance. The achievement of performance from this job fit can also be supported through Job Involvement from the aspects of emotional involvement, cognitive involvement, work motivation, and job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze non-financial factors that influence underpricing in companies conducting Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2021 to 2023. The variables analyzed include industry sector, issue size, underwriter reputation, auditor reputation, and legal consultant reputation. The research employs a quantitative approach with an explanatory design and uses binary logistic regression analysis. The sample consists of 187 firms selected using purposive sampling. The results show that the underpricing phenomenon remains prevalent in Indonesia. Among the variables studied, issue size and auditor reputation have a significant influence on underpricing. These findings indicate the importance of strong market signals in reducing information asymmetry between issuers and investors. This research contributes to the IPO literature in emerging markets and provides practical implications for companies, investors, and capital market authorities.
