This journal also provides opportunities for researchers and scholars from various disciplines of science who have new views and ideas to share with other academics, especially in matters that focus on tourism, culture and economic studies. Abstract

The shocks caused by the Covid-19 pandemic had a major impact on the tourism sector and the economy. Yogyakarta is one of the main destinations for domestic and international tourism in Indonesia. Unfortunately, the tourism sector in Yogyakarta is also affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. This study aims to analyze the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the tourism sector and recovery strategies during and after the Covid-19 pandemic in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. This research was compiled using a descriptive qualitative methodology, data collection was carried out by studying literature and interviews with resource persons. The results showed that the growth of tourists during the pandemic period was negative, as well as the growth rate of hotel occupancy was also negative. The tourism industry perpetrators suffered huge losses and many workers were sent home without being paid until they were terminated. The recovery of the tourism sector requires a long stageand will be carried out in stages. The first phase has been started in june 2020 and is expected to move towards a new normal in 2022. Several action plans are drawn up for the recovery process. The action plan includes developing health protocols, creating digital tourism, a tourism information system, and SMART Tourism. Local governments and tourism industry players in DIY need to build SMART Tourism for sustainable tourism after the Covid-19 pandemic.SMART Tourism is an innovation in the tourism sector by utilizing information technology in integrating tourism activities.

Abstract

The Covid19 pandemic corona virus in Indonesia was first detected on March 2, 2020. The Covid19 outbreak had a very devastating impact on the world Various industries are experiencing a slump, especially in the tourism sector. The weakening of the tourism industry in Indonesia such as Bali, Yogyakarta, Lombok has experienced a very drastic decline. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Through this method, the writer tries to reveal the Food and Beverage marketing strategy during the covid 19 period at the Cavinton hotel in Yogyakarta. The analysis tool used is SWOT analysis to formulate a strategy for identifying various factors based on the researcher's knowledge and understanding. SWOT analysis is used to formulate a strategy through maximizing strength and opportunities and simultaneously minimizing weaknesses and threats. The results of research due to Covid19 make public awareness of cleanliness, health, safety and environmental sustainability very large, The decline in the tourism sector due to social distance caused the hotel business to decline so that Food and Beverage used various innovations and strategies to survive the Covid19 Pandemic, Public interest in food and delivery services is increasingly in demand, with the increasing transmission of covid19 making people limit themselves from leaving the house.

Abstract

Standard operating procedures or commonly called SOPs are important things that every company must have and must be a guide in carrying out work activities by all waiters and waiters at In Bloom Restaurant Hotel Ayaartta Malioboro Yogyakarta. This research uses a quantitative approach method, using data from questionnaires and uncovering problems in the form of numerical scores, which are then processed and tested by statistical analysis techniques in an effort to reveal the performance and effectiveness of SOP implementation in carrying out tasks at Bloom's Restaurant.

Abstract

This article shed more light on several policies can be adopted by the Indonesian government in terms saving the tourism-communities and tourism itself during Covid-19 pandemic. However, travel restriction policies in various countries also demanded the solidarity of tourists to stay at home, avoiding crowds, and delaying travel plans during the COVID-19 pandemic. It clearly causes the tourism sector to be heavily affected. As a solution , this research used the systematic literature review method to collecting data from 63 article that relevant to this topic. The results of this research classified into three main point that inovation can be raise by re-emphasising alternative forms of tourism through responsible torism and sustainable tourism. Utilization of technology (e-tourism) is a new form of transformation in the tourism sector, it can help tourist screening, case and contact tracing. Therefore, several policy should be created by central to local government that concern about communities sustainability during it’s condition.

Abstract

This study aims to find out what factors encourage consumers to make purchasing decisions culinary products offered through the GoFood application. The research approach uses variables and dimensions of the marketing mix. The marketing mix studied are product, price, distribution and promotion. The study used quantitative methods with regression analysis. Respondents are students of the STIE Tourism API Yogyakarta campus in a certain research period for one month. The measuring instrument used is a questionnaire with the use of a Likert scale. Using the t test, it can be concluded that products and promotions have a significant effect on purchasing decisions through the GoFood application. While price and distribution have no significant effect on purchasing decisions, and with the F-test it is concluded that product, price, distribution, and promotion together have a significant effect on purchasing decisions through the GoFood application.

Abstract

Edelweis tourism village is one of the tourist villages located in Pasuruan Regency, East Java. This tourist village is still in the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park area. This tourist village has the main tourism potential, namely the Edelweiss flower or eternal flower. In this research, using descriptive analysis which is qualitative in nature. The data obtained were then analyzed using SWOT analysis. From the results of this study, the development strategy of Wonokriti Village as an Edelweiss tourism village is obtained, including holding activities related to the Edelweiss flower, making this village a center for educational tourism, especially edelweiss flowers, developing tourism supporting infrastructure, holding hospitality training for human resources involved in management. Abstract

Bangsring Underwater is one of the natural tourism attractions in Banyuwangi. Located in Bangsring village, Wongsorejo subdistrict, Banyuwangi regency. Bangsring Underwater is known for its underwater natural beauty that continues to be maintained and developed by community. The aims of the study are: 1) to find out what are the supporting factors and inhibitory factors in the development of community-based Bangsring Underwater tourism attraction. 2) find out of strategy of developing community-based tourism. Data collecting are observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation. By using SWOT as data analysis tools in the form of (Strength, Weakness, Opportunities And Threats). The results of this study found the presence of several supporting factors such as; a) supported by the local government, b) the village government of Bangsring, c) the tourism conscious group Samudra Bhakti (pokdarwis Bangsring Underwater) in the development of the attraction of Bangsring Underwater. And factors several inhibitory factors such as; a) lack of human resources and b) some surrounding communities that have not been able to accept the existence of tourism activities in the tourist attraction Bangsring Underwater. In addition, this study also found seven alternative strategies obtained from SWOT analysis resulted in seven such strategies; (SO) tourism attraction development strategy, and tourism attraction promotion strategy. (WO) strategy improves safety and comfort. (ST) strategy to improve the quality of the environment, and sustainable tourism development strategy. (WT) human resource development strategy, and strategy to increase cooperation with elements of government and private partnerships.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the perception of tourists on aspects of heritage tourism at De Tjolomadoe. The data collection method used is the distribution of online questionnaires. The analytical method used is descriptive, covering the characteristics of the respondents and the characteristics of the attractiveness of the De Tjolomadoe tourist attraction. The characteristics of the respondents in this study, namely the majority of male tourists; private employment; undergraduate education; and the population of Central Java. Meanwhile, the characteristics of tourist objects are: tourists consider ticket prices cheap; good image of tourist destinations; recommend De Tjolomadoe as a tourist destination; the majority of tourists who visit use private cars; tourists do not use lodging while visiting; visits are made from the family; Destination information is obtained through friends or relatives. Tourists are motivated to come because they have never been to a tourist location; tourists consider the architecture of the building to be the most attractive attraction. The analysis of heritage aspects includes aspects: rarity, history, superlativity, plurality, influence and aesthetics. De Tjolomadoe has met the criteria as a heritage tourist attraction with the highest aspect of history.

Abstract

This study aims to see if there is an influence between the security and safety of tourists on the image of tourist destinations at Sri Gethuk Waterfall, Gunungkidul. This study uses quantitative research methods with 100 respondents from tourists who have visited Sri Gethuk Waterfall in the last one year. Collecting data using observation, questionnaires, and library documentation. The results show that there is an influence between the security and safety of tourists simultaneously on the image of the destination, while the Coefficient of Determination Test shows that the image of a tourist destination is influenced by the security and safety of tourists by 78.1%, while the remaining 21.9% is explained by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the tourist attraction factors which consist of attractions, amenities, and accessibility have an effect on tourist satisfaction at Coffee On The Bus PO. Fortune Transport. The research sample was 50 tourist respondents who visited the Coffee on The Bus. This type of research is a type of quantitative research using multiple linear analysis located in Yogyakarta. The results showed that the three variables simultaneously and significantly affected tourist satisfaction.
