Abstract

The Integrated Community Service (PPMT) activity regarding the establishment of BUMDes in Sonorejo Village, Candimulyo was carried out as an effort to develop investment and productivity by advancing the village economy, and facilitating community services to obtain welfare. This program was carried out with BUMDes administrators and village assistants. The method of implementing the program is carried out starting from socialization, assistance, monitoring and evaluation in the establishment of BUMDes. With this program, the establishment of BUMDes is expected to provide insight and experience and advance the village economy. The result of this program is the verification of all legal documents and the registration of the proposed BUMDes on the Ministry of Village website.

Abstract

Until now, the waste management in Geduang Hamlet has not been optimal, even though waste can be processed into goods of economic value. Limited knowledge and lack of skills are obstacles in waste management. Therefore, efforts are needed to improve human resources in the management of organic and inorganic waste. Community empowerment through the formation and management of waste aims to provide education to the public about the Waste Bank starting from the establishment to the administrative mechanism. This program is carried out in the form of training. The results obtained from this program are that the waste bank management has been able to formulate a vision and mission, understand an efficient waste sorting process, and increase the solidity of managers and more organized financial planning management.

Abstract

Herb products have become people's daily consumption. However, herb products are often considered old-fashioned and conventional accompanied by poor packaging. This happens because of the lack of knowledge and skills of herb medicine business players in developing processed products, packaging, and marketing. The purpose of this activity is to increase the knowledge and skills of the PKK group in making the innovative "JAJEKUA" herb mocktail product and has good packaging. Meanwhile, branding socialization aims to make the target community have skills in product marketing to achieve stable sales in the long term. The method used is training with discussions, presentations, house-to-house assistance, and making videos of the herb medicine-making process. This activity provides great benefits as indicated by an increase in knowledge and skills in making mocktail "JAJEKUA" herb medicine products and the ability to package good products.

Abstract

The attractiveness of madrasa is inseparable from the National Education Standards (SNP) and the measurement results are used as a reference for developing work programs. Two standards that are prioritized for the fulfillment of the eight SNPs are educators and education personnel (HR) and facilities and infrastructure. For this reason, this program is aimed at improving the quality of human resources and infrastructure in order to increase the attractiveness of the community. This program was carried out at MI Muhammadiyah Surodadi 2 Penggaron Hamlet, Gondowangi Village, Sawangan District, Magelang Regency by involving the head of the madrasa and teachers. This program used a participatory rural appraisal approach which is carried out in three stages, namely socialization, training, and mentoring. The result of this program is the increase in HR expertise in graphic design and videography as well as the arrangement of MI facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

This service activity is a downstreaming of research results by involving PKK in making soap from pineapple weevil extract (waste from pineapple processing). The purpose of this activity is to create entrepreneurs and improve the welfare of the community. Service activities are carried out with the debriefing method regarding the knowledge and skills of making antibacterial dish soap, packaging, product marketing. The results of this program are that the community can produce antibacterial dish soap, increase community welfare, and the formation of MSMEs.

Abstract

The existence of wood waste along the coast of Skouw Yambe is an abundant natural potential that has not been utilized properly. This Community Service activity aims to utilize the waste into briquettes as an alternative fuel to replace kerosene. The method used in this activity is the socialization, practice and training of making briquettes starting from collecting and drying raw materials, making wood charcoal, refining wood charcoal, mixing wood charcoal with adhesives, printing briquettes, drying briquettes, and cooking trials using briquettes. The result from this community service program is that the people of Skouw Yambe village can have excellent skills and abilities in producing household-scale briquettes from wood waste.

Abstract

Internet addiction can occur in school-age children which has an impact on the inability of children to control themselves from using the internet, causing brain or mental functional problems in everyday life. Community service program is carried out according to the problem, namely educational activities and self-control training for students as an effort to prevent internet addiction. This self-control training was attended by 20 students of SDN 130 Pekanbaru. This program was preceded by health education about internet addiction, then trained students to exercise self-control in using gadgets and the internet and were evaluated after six days of self-control exercises. Programs were measured using a knowledge questionnaire and KDAI internet addiction diagnostic questionnaire as well as the results of a reminder card. The results of the pre-test showed that the average knowledge of the participants was 85.11 and the post-test was 90.82. This program proved to be successful where objectively there was an increase in participants' knowledge about Covid-19 and the use of gadgets.

Abstract

The amount of organic household waste creates new problems in the environment, so there needs to be a solution to reduce waste. One of them is by making liquid organic fertilizer. The purpose of this community service is to provide training on the manufacture of liquid organic fertilizer from household waste. The method in this community service activity is to provide training on making POC from organic waste, conducting NPK POC tests, training and assistance in making POC product packaging at PCM Colomadu (Women Farmers Group (KWT) Berkah Tani 2). The result of this community service activity is that the KWT Berkah Tani 2 gains experience in making POCs so that they can help reduce organic waste in the Colomadu area.

Abstract

Waste problem is considered as the global issue. Many areas are still facing difficulty in managing waste due to the lack of knowledge especially in waste recycling. Household waste is a common problem experienced by the Matesih Village community, Karanganyar, Central Java. This community service aims to raise awareness of the community about the importance of household waste recycling and to train them in processing the household waste into the liquid organic fertilizer (LOF). The target of this community service was 10 women of Family Welfare Development (PKK) community. The methods used in this activity were transfer of knowledge and demonstrating. This training produced 16.7 liter of LOF with average pH of 6. Based on the survey, participants were satisfied with the socialization and training activities and willing to continue the program of making LOF independently.

Abstract

Burns are an emergency problem that can occur anywhere and anytime. An emergency is often a serious and sometimes dangerous situation that occurs suddenly and requires immediate action to save lives. Burns are tissue damage or loss caused by contact with heat sources such as fire, hot water, chemicals, electricity and radiation. Therefore, this activity aims to increase the knowledge of the students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak City in performing first aid on burns and to encourage the active role of students in handling burns. This service uses an action research method with a participatory action program approach. After conducting health education about the first treatment of burns, it was found that there was an increase in students' knowledge and understanding of the first treatment of burns.
