Abstract

In order to address DPO Restu Abadi's business management issues, including limited oyster mushroom production capacity and quality, packaging, conventional product marketing with limited range, business legality, human resource management, and financial management, this community service is being performed. Culinary professionals, brand activists, and experts in oyster mushroom cultivation were all involved in this activity, which was carried out through training and mentoring practices. This program has been successful in raising the standard of packaging, including branding and labels, expanding the market reach with digital marketing, and processing business permissions (NIB and P-IRT). Whereas in the production aspect, the service team facilitates the addition of production facilities in the form of kumbung, baglog, and baglog sterilization equipment.

Abstract

This community service program's main goal is to assist partners become a Healthy, Independent, Enterprising, and Optimistic (SEMANGAT). Despite the uncomfortable things that have happened in their lives at the LKSA Muhammadiyah Nanggulan Orphanage, Kulon Progo. The program was carried out in several steps, including: (1) counseling and education on healthy lifestyles; (2) psychological assessment to assess the potential intelligence, interests, and talents; (3) hypnotherapy to reduce anxiety and increase optimism; (4) teaching how to make drinks with aloe vera; and (5) entrepreneurial training through online branding and marketing as well as bookkeeping training. This program's outcomes include partners understanding how to maintain and improve their health, the intellectual potential of their talents and interests, less anxious and more optimistic, able to make drinks with aloe vera, and understand how to brand and market online, as well as to record profit and loss.

Abstract

For the majority of farmers, the limited availability of subsidized fertilizers in Rukti Endah Village, Seputih Raman District, poses a problem because it lowers agricultural production. Academics at the University of Lampung initiated a socialization about organic fertilizer production to solve this problem. The aim of this community service is to train and educate people on how to make organic fertilizer from kitchen waste in order to overcome restrictions on fertilizer subsidies. The methods used in community service activities are lectures, demonstrations of making compost and group discussions attended by 30 participants. The activity's outcomes revealed an increase in community knowledge of the process of transforming waste into compost and liquid organic fertilizer in Rukti Endah Village (60.6%). The final products have been used to support agricultural production in Rukti Endah Village and the area around it.

Abstract

This community service program was carried out in the “Sarining Trigona Pertiwi” group, Bongkasa Pertiwi Village, Abiansemal District, Badung Regency. This community service goal is to improve honey bee farming by increasing group expertise in developing nectar-producing plants. The methods used in this service activity include counselling, practice, and evaluation. The result of the program carried out was that there was an improvement in honey post-harvest techniques according to the materials and SOPs provided. The honey produced meets SNI standards, but the process of reducing the water content of honey is constrained by equipment. Management and group members have understood the legal regulations that need to be complied with in developing a honey business as an effort to prevent future internal problems.

Abstract

The implementation of guidance and counseling in elementary and high schools as one of the integrated class teacher responsibilities has been clearly regulated by Permendikbud Number 111 of 2014. This training was provided as program support to increase the capability of teachers to carry out counseling assignments. A total of 39 elementary teachers participated in the 7 sessions, which included policy outreach activities, material delivery, simulations, and supervised practice. The training's results show that elementary school teachers in the Barito Kuala District's counseling skills generally improved from the low category (3.77) to the medium category (6.62). Based on the result, the elementary educators in the Barito Kuala district need to applied the new skills in practical settings in order to improve their counseling competencies.

Abstract

Since 2021, Trembes village has had a Smart Friends TBM (Community Reading Park) to increase village literacy. However, this TBM has fewer varied activities and programs, and the number of visitors is still low. To solve these issues, the PkM team implemented a community service program that used busy books to assist children in improving their multiliteracy competencies in the fields of economic, English, mathematics, Pancasila, and citizenship literacy. Various methods are developed, including lectures, volunteerism, questions and answers about interesting and popular themes, and demonstrations. As a result of this program, children were able to create and present busy book sheets with the themes of economic, English, mathematics, Pancasila literacy, and citizenship literacy.

Abstract

Beachside restaurant is one of Bali's popular tourism industries right now. One of them is Warung Pantai Seseh, a restaurant and MSME that is located in Seseh Beach, Badung Regency. The primary problem is a lack of English communications skills in the hospitality. To enhance excellent service to tourists, steps to increase English proficiency also are required. Implementation methods used include a pre-test, training, and a post-test which was attended by 11 Warung Pantai Seseh employees. The employees of Warung Pantai Seseh have improved their knowledge and skill in English for hospitality as a result of the community service. Results from the post-test indicate that 81.8% of employees have good English for hospitality skills, with a minimum score of 80.

Abstract

By developing the community's capacity for entrepreneurship, one of which is in the food business, one can empower the community economically. Tutul Village is a productive village with entrepreneurship activities centered on handicrafts, but there aren't any yet in food sector, especially creative healthy food. The team carried out in activities to improve entrepreneurship skills throughout the third year of the Partner Village Development Program, particularly creative healthy food products for pregnant women, nursing mothers, infants, toddlers, school-age children, the elderly, and people with chronic diseases. The training participants were 12 prospective entrepreneurs from 4 hamlets in Tutul Village. The five stages of the training were completed with assistance. Assistance in the form of competency improvement, labeling and packaging, assessment of nutritional content, production permits, and marketing. There are 11 healthy food products with creative presentations that are stimulants for prospective entrepreneurs to develop. Prospective entrepreneurs should be highly motivated to launch new food products so that the marketing of creative healthy food products can be easily recognized by the the general public.

Abstract

Today, the health sector has begun to adopt digital information technology, one of which is telemedicine. Utilization of digital media can be used for business interests and support pharmaceutical care activities. However, pharmacists in Salatiga city have not been able to make optimal use of digital media. This activity was carried out in the form of training on the use of digital media for the implementation of digital pharmacy for IAI PC Pharmacists in Salatiga City in facing the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. Activities carried out are training and providing information about digital pharmacy and medication therapy management. This program has proven successful in increasing pharmacist knowledge regarding digital pharmacy and medication therapy management with a p-value of 0.0000. Furthermore, 69 pharmacists experienced an increase in knowledge, 5 pharmacists experienced a decrease, and 7 pharmacists did not experience an increase in knowledge.

Abstract

Teachers' perceptions of accreditation are still primarily based on tangible objects or written evidence. Accreditation, however, emphasizes performance assessment. The lack of updating of teacher learning tools documents that refer to 21st century skills cause the low quality of learning and is still lower order thinking skills (LOTS). The purpose of this program is to improve teachers' comprehension of the performance-based accreditation paradigm. Utilizing a three-stage process of socialization, training, and mentoring, this activity employs a participatory rural appraisal approach. With the implementation of this program, evidence of the four components of the accreditation of MTs Muhammadiyah 1 Dukun can be fulfilled and teachers are able to make teaching aids and master the media so that learning can be more meaningful. Another result of this training is that teachers are able to develop learning tools that are higher order thinking skills (HOTS).
