Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on Indonesian economic activities, including micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). MSME actors need a variety of innovations to survive this pandemic, one of which is adapting by moving their business to the digital realm. The majority of the people in Sungai Pinang Village, Rambutan District, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra, are farmers, laborers, and entrepreneurs. However, businesspeople in this village are still unfamiliar with how to use technology to digitally market their products. This service program aims to introduce MSME actors to digital marketing and assist them in doing so. Visitations and counseling about digital marketing, as well as direct practice marketing products through digital channels, are the method of this program. Then, after interviewing MSME actors who had participated in the program, follow-up activities were carried out. The outcomes of this program include increased business actors' knowledge and enthusiasm for using digital marketing in sales.

Abstract

The problem in Bawang Hamlet, Tunggul Wulung Village, Malang City is that due to a lack of funds and human resources expertise, the development of a healthy environment is not optimal. Furthermore, there are no activities that educate the community about the importance of being productive in order to protect the environment. In order to support sustainable development programs, this community service program aims to strengthen the role of posyandu cadres in strengthening healthy and clean-living communities through Green Life. Strengthening socialization to posyandu cadres about reforestation, practicing green behavior by planting TOGA plants, and reading corners to strengthen community literacy are among the methods used to carry out the activity. This program has a positive impact on posyandu cadres, such as increasing knowledge of reforestation and green culture, beautifying the environment around the posyandu with the TOGA plant, and providing a reading corner in the RW hall to encourage residents to enjoy reading.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, teachers, including Muhammadiyah schools, encountered difficulties in terms of methods in relation to online learning. One of suitable learning model is project-based learning as it able to help students develop various positive characters, including Islamic characters. The purpose of the community service is to provide project-based online learning training for English teachers at Muhammadiyah Elementary Schools in Yogyakarta City to develop the Islamic character of students during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method is carried out through three main stages: pre-activity, main activities, and post-activity. The result is that the English teachers of Muhammadiyah Elementary School has knowledge about project-based online learning to develop the Islamic character of students during the Covid-19 pandemic. Based on the responses, it showed that the participants enthusiastically welcomed the program and hoped that it could be continued.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to assist the Burai tourist village in achieving its goal of being a tourist destination in Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra. The method is preparation (pre-test and MSME materials, as well as the importance of social capital) is followed by counseling and evaluation (post-test). The success of this program may be determined by two factors: 1) the program went off without a hitch; and 2) the material was well received and comprehended by the participants. The evaluation results reveal that the community is motivated to use its social capital to develop tourist potential in Burai Village.

Abstract

In today's digital era, business and the internet are an inseparable combination. Businesses that do not use the internet daily will find it difficult to survive. Especially due to the COVID-19 pandemic where all activities must turn online. These changes and challenges that occur rapidly not only affect large companies, but also local MSME actors. Arnetta Craft is a local Indonesian handicraft business that specializes in the manufacture of candle fragrances, natural soaps, fashion, and other similar handicrafts. To survive in the current situation, Arnetta Craft must maximize digital marketing. From all these activities resulted in the creation of a simple website that can increase the credibility of the business and reach a wider target customer

Abstract

Adolescent health services for junior high school (SMP) students are very important in the effort to create a drug-free young generation, because they are the nation's next generation who will determine the nation's future fate. The primary objective of this program is to improve students' knowledge, attitudes, and behavior about drugs and adolescent health; develop the character of healthy, drug-free teenagers; and develop junior high school students' creativity in peer education as a promotional effort to create drug-free schools. Health education, training, mentoring, monitoring, and evaluation are some of the methods used. The assessment revealed a 98.2% increase in knowledge, a 94.7% increase in attitude, and a 93% increase in behavior. At Citra Bangsa Junior High School, the youth health service program "BERSINAR" (Bersih Narkoba) has also proven to be effective as a peer companion program. The outcome of this program suggest that schools and health centers play an active role in ongoing coaching, mentoring, monitoring, and evaluation activities.

Abstract

In facing the industrial era 4.0, college graduates in information and computer science are required to adapt to the developments and needs of current industrial technology. The link and match between the world of education and industry is the key to optimizing the absorption of skilled labor. To answer these challenges, the Information systems undergraduate study program at Institut Teknologi Telkom Purwokerto, SUHU, and T-Lab held a Webinar Series "Link & Match of Information Technology between Academics and Industrial Needs" with the topic of Digital Business Roadmap: Exploring creative digital business ideas. This webinar activity is carried out using a mentoring method as well as sharing new knowledge with participants about Digital Business Transformation and how to explore creative digital business ideas. The result is that participants can understand digital business transformation and then explore creative digital business ideas to be developed in a business proposal.

Abstract

Universities must take an active role in providing services to their communities, particularly to the youth. The Faculty of Economics at Maranatha Christian University and the Christian Education Agency Penabur collaborated to host an online webinar on a life skills program in business and entrepreneurship. Participants in the program are high school students from Generation Z, who value encouragement, practicality, and financial stability in their time. This program aims to make every participant willing and capable of seeing, knowing, understanding, and being motivated to engage in business and entrepreneurial practices such as personal finance management, small business development, and capital market investing. Distance learning, which is done online and includes interaction and discussion, is the method used. More than 70% of those who took part in the three-day virtual learning activities expressed positive attitudes and intentions. They are commonly very enthusiastic about attending future webinars on investment, business, and entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Buahan Village is a village located in Payangan District, Gianyar Regency which has the potential to be developed in the agricultural and plantation sectors. Among them is the increased production of honey and processed honey in the form of herbal drinks, which greatly affect the income of MSMEs Buahan Mesari and Amerta Herbal. The problem faced is the lack of knowledge of MSMEs in Buahan Mesari regarding techniques for cultivating Trigona sp. bees. and the lack of insight into Amerta Herbal SMEs in developing efficacious herbal beverage derivative products. Through training for the people of Buahan Village related to Trigona sp. bee cultivation and the manufacture of kele honey-based products that are able to generate increased income and community welfare caused by increased product sales in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Tahura Lati Petangis is a forest park located in Paser Regency, East Kalimantan Province, with the management area in Batu Engau District. Tahura Lati Petangis area has a water source in the form of a lake that can be used to fulfill water resources for the surrounding area. In addition, there are also types of toman fish that have a large enough potential to be exploited. Toman fish is processed into one type of food in the form of shredded. Shredded products will be more valuable in the market if their quality and safety are guaranteed in accordance with SNI quality requirements. This service activity aims to assist community groups around the Tahura area by testing the shredded products. Through this service activity, the quality and safety of shredded toman fish products is maintained for the market, so as to increase the market value of the product. The test results showed that the shredded toman fish had met SNI standards and were free from microbial and metal contamination.
