Abstract

Some students in Madrasahs do not like Arabic because they think it is difficult and boring. In this regard, the description in this thesis departs from the problem of whether the Wordwall game-based learning model influences students' ability to master Arabic vocabulary. This type of research is a quasi-experimental involving two class VIII consisting of 68 students. Collecting data in this study used a test, namely the pretest to determine the initial ability and the posttest to determine the final ability. The results of the homogeneity test show that all data have homogeneous variants, as well as the normality test which shows that the data is normally distributed so that a hypothesis test is carried out using an independent t-test. The results of the Independent t-test showed sig 2 tailed 0.486 > 0.05, which means that H0 is accepted and H1 is rejected, which means that there is no effect of the Wordwall game-based learning model on the ability of students in mastering Arabic vocabulary for class VIII MTs Negeri 2 Palu City. The conclusions obtained are expected that educators use appropriate learning models to improve the quality of learning. For future researchers to be able to develop research using variables that are considered to have an influence on the level of mastery of students' Arabic vocabulary and choose the right learning model so that they can influence the improvement of student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study discusses "The Role of Halaqah Arabiyah in Improving Arabic Reading of Arabic Language Education Study Program Students class of 2020 Datokarama State Islamic University (UIN) Palu" with the formulation of the problem, namely: 1) How are Halaqah Arabiyah activities carried out by the Arabic Language Education Student Association in Datokarama State Islamic University (UIN) Palu?. 2) What is the role of halaqah Arabiyah in Improving Arabic Reading Skills for Students of the Arabic Language Education Study Program class of 2020 Datokarama State Islamic University (UIN) Palu? This study uses a qualitative method. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques and checking the validity of the data. The results showed that the role of the Halaqah Arabiyah State Islamic University (UIN) Datokarama Palu, was enough to improve Arabic reading skills. Halaqah Arabiyah also has a positive influence on the learning achievement of students of the Arabic Language Education Study Program class of 2020.

Abstract

The learning process using the word square learning model aims to encourage students' understanding of the subject matter, create a pleasant atmosphere because learning is in the form of games, train disciplined students, stimulate students to think effectively because this learning model can be a driver and reinforcement in the material so that it can improve student learning outcomes. In this regard, this study aims to prove the influence of the Word Square learning model on the ability of students to memorize Arabic vocabulary in class IX MtsN 2 Palu. This type of research is tentative. The focus of this research is teachers in the field of Arabic studies of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri (MTSN) with a sample of 62 people. The research approach used by researchers is a quantitative approach with experimental methods. And for this research design use Pre-Test and Post-Test Control Group Design. The data were analyzed using the SPSS 26 Program with a different test, namely the t-test or the U test (Mann-Whitney). The results show a significant influence of this learning model on students by showing the results obtained with a probability value of < α at a significant level of 95%. And some differences show the average ability to memorize Arabic vocabulary using the model. This explains that these results obtained the mean value in the experimental post-test > than the control class post-test.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang “Interferensi Fonologi dalam Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab pada Peserta Didik Kelas X Agama MA Alkhairaat Pusat Palu” dan memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk-bentuk interferensi fonologi dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab pada peserta didik Kelas X agama MA Alkhairaat Pusat Palu dan faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya interferensi fonologi dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab pada peserta didik Kelas X agama MA Alkhairaat Pusat Palu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, jenis penelitian yaitu penelitian lapangan, teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sumber datanya yaitu pengajar dan beberapa peserta didik beserta sumber-sumber pendukung lainnya yang mempunyai relevansi dengan penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh bahwa bentuk-bentuk interferensi fonologi dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab pada peserta didik adalah penggantian fonem, pemendekan dan pemanjangan bunyi, menggunakan intonasi tuturan bahasa ibu dalam menuturkan bahasa Arab. Faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya interferensi fonologi berupa penggunaan bahasa kedua dalam hal ini bahasa Arab terpengaruhi oleh sistem bahasa pertama, masih dalam tahap baru belajar sehingga peserta didik tidak dapat terhindar dari melakukan kesalahan saat mempelajari bahasa asing, latar belakang peserta didik, kurangnya bimbingan yang didapatkan peserta didik selain bimbingan yang diberikan oleh guru, kemampuan peserta didik terhadap bahasa masih kurang, besarnya perbedaan antara sistem bahasa Arab dengan bahasa pertama yang digunakan peserta didik dalam kehidupan sehari-harinya, kemampuan peserta didik yang bervariasi, kelangsungan pembelajaran bahasa Arab di madrasah yang memang tidak mewajibkan berbahasa Arab.

Abstract

Dalam proses pembelajaran bahasa asing terdapat perbedaan baik dari segi makna yang dapat mengakibatkan kesalahan dalam berbahasa. Untuk mengetahui hal tersebut maka diperlukan analisis kontrastif yang bertujuan mengidentifikasi segi-segi perbedaan atau ketidaksamaan yang kontras (mencolok) antara dua bahasa atau lebih yang diperbandingkan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan dan persamaan pemarkah lokatif dalam bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Arab. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis kontrastif sebagai upaya untuk mendeskripsikan persamaan dan perbedaan pemarkah lokatif di antara kedua bahasa tersebut. Diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa kata ‘fii’, ‘bi’ dan ‘‘alaa’ memiliki fungsi yang sama sebagai pemarkah lokatif, tetapi tiap-tiap kata tersebut memiliki penggunaan yang berbeda pada kalimat. Pemarkah lokatif ‘di’ digunakan untuk menyatakan tempat, sedangkan pemarkah lokatif ‘bi’ untuk menyatakan tempat yang bersanding dengan suatu aktivitas dan ‘’alaa’ untuk menyatakan tempat yang lebih spesifik yaitu menempel pada permukaan. Analisis kontrastif pemarkah lokatif dapat dijadikan solusi alternatif bagi pengajar untuk membantu siswa mengatasi kesulitan yang dihadapi dalam mempelajari bahasa Arab sebagai bahasa kedua.

Abstract

Tujuan dilakukannya kajian ini yakni cara mengaplikasikan serta dampak Ice breaking terhadap hafalan santri madin Tunggul desa Kersoharjo Kec. Geneng Kab. Ngawi. Metode kajian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif model deskriptif. Adapun hasilnya adalah santri lebih antusias dalam menjawab quiz serta mengerjakan soal baik secara lisan ataupun tulis tentang mufrodat. Ice breaking yang digunakan guru pada proses pembelajaran memberikan porsi sedikit pada kemampuan kintestik santri dan lebih dominan pada kemampuan visual-auditory. Dampak yang dihasilkan dari penggunaan ice breaking tepat sasaran yakni membuat pembelajaran menyenangkan, para santri konsentrasinya meningkat untuk mengikuti proses pembelajaran mufrodat dan menghafalkannya.

Abstract

This research highlights the challenges in Arabic language learning at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 3 Palu City, especially the lack of learner involvement and their difficulty in linking learning materials with daily life. To overcome these problems, the implementation of Contextual Teaching and Learning model is expected to build learners' engagement, to connect learning materials with real contexts, and to motivate learners in developing Arabic language skills. This research uses a qualitative method which aims to find out how the implementation of Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model in Arabic language learning and what are the inhibiting and supporting factors for the implementation of Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model in Arabic language learning which focuses on class VIII A at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 3 Palu City. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of the learning model had a positive impact with several supporting factors such as good relationships between teachers and students, high teacher interest in interactive learning, and active participation of students. However, constraints such as the lack of facilities and technology, as well as the disparity of learners' Arabic language ability, also affect the learning process.

Abstract

This research is concerned with the problems of students in mahārah al-qirā'ah at MTsN 3 Palu City whose problems include what are the problems of students in class VIII mahārah al-qirā'ah at MTsN 3 Palu City and what are the solutions to the problems of class VIII students at MTsN 3 Palu City in mahārah al-qirā'ah. This research uses qualitative research methods and uses a descriptive approach. The results of the research show that first, the author divides problems from a linguistic perspective at MTsN 3 Palu City into four, namely sound system, sentence structure, vocabulary and writing. Meanwhile, problems from a non-linguistic perspective are divided into four, namely environmental factors, interest and motivation, educational factors, and facilities and infrastructure factors. Second, the solution or effort made by the teacher to overcome this problem is to spell out the words word by word to the students which is then followed up so that the pronunciation of the words is correct, such as pronouncing makhārijul hurūf, asking students to memorize the 14 dhamir, and giving them Arabic texts to rewrite. Meanwhile, the solution from a non-linguistic perspective is to provide motivation, vary learning methods, give prizes, and hold extra hours. Keywords: Makhārijul hurūf, Dhamir, Mahārah al-Qirā'ah

Abstract

The Research discusses the Implementation of the Drill Method in Overcoming the Difficulty of Memorizing Arabic Vocabulary at MTs Alkhairaat Pangi, Parigi Moutong Regency. With the following problem formulation: 1) How to implement the drill method in overcoming the difficulty of memorizing vocabulary in MTs Alkhairaat Pangi, Parigi Moutong Regency. 2) What are the inhibiting factors and supporting the implementation of the drill method in overcoming the difficulty of memorizing vocabulary in MTs Alkhairaat Pangi, Pangi, Parigi Moutong Regency. The results showed that the implementation of the drill method in overcoming the difficulty of memorizing vocabulary in Class VIII MTs Alkhairaat Pangi was carried out by the teacher by preparing 10 vocabulary words using image media that was pasted or written on the blackboard, after which the teacher and students practiced together repeatedly. Then the teacher evaluates the vocabulary that has been given to each student. The inhibiting factors are the lack of interest of students in learning Arabic and the lack of books that are used as references in learning Arabic. The supporting factors in memorizing students are school environment factors, the state of facilities and infrastructure, and support from parents. The implication of this research is for teachers to pay more attention to matters related to Arabic language learning, especially increasing learning reference books and always providing motivation to students so as not to get bored quickly in memorization. A lot or a little memorized vocabulary can improve students' mastery of Arabic vocabulary, so as to overcome the difficulties of students in memorizing Arabic vocabulary and make it easier for students to understand Arabic texts.

Abstract

This article explores the integration of character education into Arabic language learning in Indonesian education. Character education, foundational in Indonesian education, has gained renewed attention due to societal moral crises, prompting a closer examination of its implementation. The research employs library research methodology, focusing on literature related to Arabic language learning and character education. It identifies methods and approaches for integrating character education into Arabic language learning, emphasizing the significance of Arabic as the language of the Quran and Hadith, fundamental texts in Islam containing guidance on character formation. The article discusses the nature of Arabic language learning, goals, learning systems, and character education concepts, highlighting essential character traits and values. Strategies for character education and methods for fostering character development in students are explored. Moreover, the article outlines character-based Arabic language learning activities, from planning to evaluation stages, underscoring the role of teaching materials and educators as role models. Ultimately, it concludes that integrating character education into Arabic language learning can contribute significantly to the holistic development of learners, instilling moral values and ethical principles derived from Islamic teachings.
