Abstract

This service aims to provide socialization on the use of smartphones as a means of promotion in the tourism potential of Warnasari Village tourism business operators, PangalenganDistrict, Bandung Regency. The tourism businesses managed by tourism businesses and Youth Organization in Warnasari Village are Situ Cileunca, Rafting, Cukul Sunrise Point and AgroTourism. Business operators have developed several types of tourism potential in the Warnasari Village with a target market for the lower middle class. But because of the growing demand from consumers in terms of the tourism sector, the target market wants to be changed to the upper middle class. The problem that is owned by partners is the lack of ability in terms of the use of smartphones such as photo editing, video editing and the use of social media. Community service activities using a contextual approach that is providing theoretical material first and followed by workshops directly editing photos and videos using a smartphone and uploading his work produced by partners. Then proceed with the method of briefing photo and video editing techniques, and the use of social media in marketing tourism potential in Pangalengan.

Abstract

The presence of Bukit Panembongan nature tourism is inseparable from the surrounding community and the youth of Karang Taruna in Tembong Village who explore the potential possessed by one of the hill areas located in the Panembongan Village. Bukit Panembongan Nature Tourism which is located in Tembong Village, Garawangi District, Kuningan Regency was opened to the public on March 28, 2015. The area of ​​land reaches 5ha but the effective land is around 3ha. Panembongan Hill natural attractions start open at 08.00 WIB until 17.00 WIB. Based on the conditions in the field can be found the following problems: the dissolution of the group of tourism activists in the Panembongan hill destination. Partners still have not sought to increase tourism service interest at the village / sub-district level by involving tourism service entrepreneurs in order to support the success of the K3 program, Partners still do not have the ability to organize funds seeking tourism activists (Kompepar) through the sale of souvenirs, the establishment of cooperatives, kiosks and so on. After the implementation team discussed with the local authorities , the activity implementation team determined the solution priority, namely the problem related to the formation of a tourism driving group, coordinating with the management of this tourism object was the result of collaboration between Perhutani KPH Kuningan with Forest Village Community Institutions (LMDH) and Tembong Village with a system of Community-Based Forest Management (PHBM), which is managed 90% by Perhutani and 10% by the Village. In connection with the problem, this activity aims to help resolve some of the problems faced by Partners as previously stated. The implementation method used in this activity is by lecturing and training. The conclusion of this activity is that the assistance provided by the Implementation Team can be understood by partners and is in accordance with the planned activities and priorities. Suggestions that can be delivered are: the formation of a tourism driving group, holding a meeting with the Ministry of Forestry and Forest Village Community Institutions (LMDH) and the Village Head to resolve the Joint Forest Management System pattern.

Abstract

The world experienced chaos caused by the Covid-19 virus which spread and caused death. Covid-19 causes paralysis in various sectors of life as a nation and state. But what is even more concerning is that there are still sectoral egos on a micro and macro scale in their handling. The research objective is to implement cross-institutional communication synergy (Phentahelix) in accelerating the handling of Covid-19. The method used in the Cimahi case study relies on handling Covid-19 from the lowest organizational structure, namely RT and RW, Dkm and the Ar-Rahmandan foundation and other local institutional components that are integrated into the Covid-19 RW 24 Task Force by building synergy with the local government, namely Kelurahan and Public health center The presence of the Covid Task Force 19, whose main task was to disseminate and educate health protocols, distribute free masks and establish a Community Granary, for the affected residents to run effectively and have a significant impact when carried out individually by the existing local institutions.

Abstract

Siliwangi University as an educational institution that has one of the responsibilities of community service, Siliwangi University conducts Thematic Work Lecture (KKN) activities in the context of community empowerment through the introduction of the concept of entrepreneurship in several areas of Tasikmalaya Regency, one of them in Dirgahayu Village, Kadipaten District is a village which is located in a mountainous area which has 6 hamlets namely Trowek, Palumbungan, Cijotang, Cipeusing, Cilongkeang and Gekbrong. The focus that we take in Dirgahayu Village is to foster community interest in entrepreneurship, in Dirgahayu village itself there are already a few people who have started entrepreneurship, it's just that the community is still lacking in innovation or utilization of local resources in the village. This is due to the lack of good technology utilization. This service uses counseling method which was attended by 30 people of Dirgahayu Village, especially Youth Organization and PKK ladies. Aiming to provide knowledge and understanding of entrepreneurship by utilizing local resources. The results of this activity are processed cassava products in the form of chips with seblak flavored innovation, however there is still a need to improve product design for product packaging to make it more attractive.

Abstract

Professional teachers can be seen from the ability of teachers to produce quality Classroom Action Research (CAR). If seen not all teachers are able to produce research in accordance with CAR standards. Through Community Service Program, Unipa Surabaya PGSD Study Program with the theme of Classroom Action Research Writing (CAR) for Elementary School Teachers in Gayungan II Elementary School in Surabaya is expected to help teachers in producing quality CAR. From the results of the training that has been carried out, it seems that the enthusiasm of the SDN Gayungan 2 Surabaya teacher in following the CAR was very good. The majority of participants felt they needed to get CAR training. Participants feel the benefits after receiving CAR training.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity was explained, so that parents, and the community in Kauman Village, Sedayu District, Gresik Regency, had more attention about the importance of assisting children in operating the Mobile Phone (HP), especially in accessing social media. The approach that will be applied in the implementation of this activity is the lecture and simulation methods. The activities that will be carried out are an explanation of the understanding, rules, and dangers that will come if the operation of a child without the assistance and education of a parent, parenting is done by providing how the application of parents who should, in assisting their children to play mobile or social media. From this parenting activity, it can be concluded that there is an increase in the community's understanding of the nature of parenting, and the implementation of parenting, the impacts that can occur. The increase was seen from the average value of the pre-test of 85%, which initially not many participants understood the positive and negative aspects of social media, this means that only 15% of participants knew the nature of parenting. After taking part in the training in parenting activities, the average post-test score rose to 92% of participants who understood parenting, and only 8% were left with low scores.

Abstract

Pangalengan is one of the districts in Bandung Regency which is an agricultural center. One of the potential products in the Pangalengan area is Pangalengan coffee which is well known to foreign countries. However, not all of the village areas in Pangalengan coffee farming have not been made a top priority, so there is still a need for coaching and mentoring as the PPM team of this group is serving together with the PPM team of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) Unpas in February 2019 in Warnasari Village, Pangalengan District Bandung. The problems identified in the partners are human resources, raw materials, production, products, and marketing. The target or partners in this activity are coffee farmers in the Warnasari Village, Pangalengan. The method of activities includes social mapping related to the identification of problems faced by coffee farmers and FGDs with entrepreneurship material. The results of this period PPM devotion shows a change in the mindset of coffee farmers to turn coffee into a priority or mainstay of the region's commodities, in addition to the awareness related to the increasing spirit of entrepreneurship desiring to process coffee yields with variant forms in the future.
