Abstract

Early childhood education has become part of the education system regulated in Law No. RI. 20 of 2003. To teach early childhood, certain methods are needed that are light and easy to understand. The basic method usually uses subtle language that is conveyed by the teacher to his students. Good and correct language can be used to tell something to the child. This method is generally known as the storytelling method. The teacher who uses the right method will become the idol of the children. The use of the right method will also be a power of enthusiasm and motivation for children to continue to want to learn. However, there are still many facts found in the field about teachers who still use conventional methods and emphasize the development of intelligence in a narrow sense. This resulted in children's learning motivation to be down. For this reason, researchers want to know the effectiveness of learning with the storytelling method on children's motivation. This research is a survey research with a qualitative approach. This research was conducted in the PAUD Al Mujannah Pakuhaji Tangerang. The research was carried out for 4 months, 2 months for proposal preparation, 1 month for instrument testing, dissemination and collection of field research data, 1 month for data preparation and processing. The research has conducted in April–July 2018. Data collection was done through interviews and documentation from the literature study. The results showed that the implementation of education through the storytelling method made children pay attention and listen to the teacher when explaining the lesson. In addition, this method is positive and creative in imagination.

Abstract

Education is one way to develop children's skills and abilities. Child development is the center of attention of parents and teachers. How not? The development of children sooner or later will affect the child in particular and parents in general. No child grows up by itself. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effect of the strategy to increase the supervision of the kindergarten environment on the development of children in PAUD Kusuma. This research is a descriptive and associative research with a quantitative approach. The population and sample in this study were teachers and children of class A PAUD Kusuma as many as 82 people. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. Data collection techniques used are observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. This data analysis technique consists of instrument testing (validity test and reliability test), classical assumption test (data normality test, heteroscedasticity test, autocorrelation, multicollinearity), regression analysis, coefficient of determination analysis, and hypothesis testing. Descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics were processed using the Statistical Product for Service Solution (SPSS) 16.0 for windows program. The results of the study indicate that there is an effect of the strategy of increasing the environmental supervision of kindergarten on the development of children in PAUD Kusuma.

Abstract

Internet use continues to increase, in Indonesia internet users with teenagers pay enough attention to it. They use it often to access social media and play online games. continue to learn internet users, especially during the covid-19 pandemic, teaching and learning activities are carried out at home and transformed into bold learning. Various techniques are used to carry out learning boldly, so that learning objectives are still achieved. In addition, parental cooperation is needed to unite learning outcomes that dare to take place from home. With the cooperation of teachers, parents and students during learning, it is hoped that it will not interfere with the efficiency and effectiveness of teaching and learning activities. We can take advantage of the internet by bringing teenagers closer to digital literacy. Based on the phenomena and problems that occur related to the use of the internet by teenagers, this study was conducted to examine how the level of digital literacy competence in bold learning at Spring Garden Middle School is. This study uses quantitative descriptive research methods. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire (questionnaire). Based on the analysis of the data results, it can be said that the level of digital literacy in supporting bold learning is at a grand mean score of 3.04. The score is on a scale range of 2.50-3.25 which indicates that the level of digital literacy skills in supporting e-learning at Spring Garden Junior High School is at a good level.

Abstract

This research is a development research that aims to develop multimedia-based learning media in mathematics. The material used is Three Dimensional material. After the multimedia-based learning media has been designed, content validation tests are carried out, media expert validation tests, user validation tests (teachers), and limited tests (students). The results of media expert validation showed an average score of 61.8% and was included in the appropriate criteria. The results of the material expert validation showed an average score of 80% and was included in the appropriate criteria. The user (teacher) validation test showed an average score of 91.25% and was included in the appropriate criteria. In the limited test stage (students) as many as 25 students at MA Muhammadiyah 1 Malang produced an average score of 82.01% and were included in the appropriate criteria. Based on the results of all media validation carried out, the average feasibility of this multimedia-based learning media is 78.76% and according to the eligibility criteria, this multimedia-based learning media is declared feasible and can be used by students as additional media in learning Three Dimensional material.

Abstract

Literacy skills in reading English need to be mastered by junior high school students. However, the reality in Junior High School N 1 Wanadadi obtained many students who still can not read English. This indicates that his literacy ability is still low. Therefore, an innovation in English learning is needed by supporting technological developments. One of them is by learning Small Group Discussion assisted by digital comics. This study is a Class Action Research with two silus, and each cycle consists of three meetings. Classroom action research procedures in the form of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. The research subjects of students of class VIIID of SMP Negeri 1 Wanadadi semester 1 amounted to 30 students. The data collection techniques are observations, interviews, and tests. The results showed that the use of a Small Group Discussion model assisted by digital comics can improve English literacy skills. Students look actively studying in the classroom and can learn independently.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain the category of democratic fostering patterns, the category of self-efficacy, and the relationship between democratic parenting patterns and the self-efficacy of students of grade XI IPS at SMA N 1 Ranah Batahan West Pasaman Regency. The research method used is quantitative research method with correlation technique. The population in this study was grade XI students of IPS SMA N 1 Ranah Batahan West Pasaman Regency numbered 119 students with a research sample of 92 students. Withdrawal of research samples using proportional random sampling. The data collection technique in this study is psychological scale, which is guided by the scale of the modified Likert model. The analyst technique used is pearson correlation. The results showed that 85.9% of students had a high democratic parenting pattern and as many as 58.7% of students showed low self-efficacy. The correlation results showed a relationship between democratic parenting patterns and self-efficacy. Effective contribution of democratic fostering pattern to self-efficacy of 22.3%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the talking stick learning model on student learning outcomes at SMKN 1 Depok. The population of this study were students of class XI SMKN 1 Depok. The number of samples as many as 73 students were taken using a saturated sample. The research method used is an experimental method using observation collection, learning outcomes tests and documentation and data analysis techniques descriptive statistical analysis, normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis. Based on this research, it is expected that student learning outcomes can be improved using the talking stick learning model. The results of the research that have been carried out based on the results of descriptive statistical analysis obtained the average value of the two groups, the experimental group taught using the talking stick learning model was 80.01 and the control group was taught using the conventional learning model was 54.47. The results of the t-test of student learning outcomes using the learning outcomes test instrument obtained tcount = 11.261 while ttable = 1.994 (dk = 71). Thus, tcount > ttable is 11.261>1.994. This means that there is an influence of the talking stick learning model on the learning outcomes of students at SMKN 1 Depok.

Abstract

The Effect of Reading Interest and Vocabulary Mastery on the Ability to Write Descriptive Text (Survey of Public High Schools in Bekasi City). This study aims to find out how reading interest and vocabulary mastery can affect a person's ability to write descriptive text. This study uses a survey method with multiple regression analysis, using a research paradigm between variables X1, X2, and Y. Then using the Slovin formula obtained a sample of 83 students, which then performed data analysis using the SPSS 20.0 application program. The results of the study prove that there is a significant influence on reading interest and vocabulary mastery on the ability to write descriptive texts.

Abstract

Writing is  a transaction with words whereby someone free his self from what he presently think, feel and perceive. In learning writing, most of the students could not achieve the MCC. There were some problems faced by the students in studying writing descriptive text at the tenth grade of SMK Swasta BNKP Daro-daro Balaekha Lahusa in 2020/2021 namely: the students were lack of vocabularies. The students were unable to describe the object. The students were unable to identify topic, main idea, content from descriptive text. Therefore, to overcome the problems, the researcher conducted a research by using Board Game at the Tenth Grade of SMK Swasta BNKP Daro-daro Balaekha Lahusa in 2020/2021. The purpose of the research is to increase the students’ ability in writing descriptive text. In increasing the students’ writing descriptive text, the researcher used Board Game and applied as Classroom Action Research (CAR). The  research has been conducted in two cycles, which each cycle consisted of two meetings, there were four steps in conducting the research namely (1) Planning, (2) Action, (3) Observation (4) Reflection. The result of the data in Cycle I that the average score was 44.64, the maximum score was 7.14 and the minimum score was 50. While in Cycle II the average score was 82.14; the maximum score was 72 and the minimum score was 28. From the result of the research, It can be concluded that Board Game Increase the Students’ Ability Writing Descriptive Text at the Tenth Grade of SMK Swasta BNKP Daro-daro Balaekha Lahusa in 2020/2021.

Abstract

Seperti yang kita ketahui dampak pandemi Covid-19 pada tahun 2020 di Indonesia telah merambah dunia pendidikan dan pemerintah telah memberikan kebijakan untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran jarak jauh. Pada hakekatnya tujuan dari PJJ adalah mempermudah proses pembelajaran. PJJ dinilai berbeda-beda oleh berbagai pihak, salah satunya dari persepsi mahasiswa. persepsi mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh adalah berupa pendapat mahasiswa mengenai apa yang dia alami dan rasakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran jarak jauh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan pengaruh persepsi mahasiswa tentang pembelajaran jarak jauh (PJJ) dan pengaruhnya di masa pandemi. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian asosiatif yang menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Unindra pada bulan April – Mei tahun 2021. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa pendidikan ekonomi Unindra. Sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yang didapat 140 mahasiswa sebagai partisipan. Sumber data adalah data primer yang didapatkan peneliti secara langsung. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu regresi linear sederhana dan uji hipotesis. Nilai regresi linear untuk penelitian ini yaitu Y = 9,361 + 0,784X. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan statistik diketahui ada pengaruh persepsi mahasiswa tentang pembelajaran jarak jauh (PJJ) dan pengaruhnya di masa pandemi secara signifikan.
