The research method used is descriptive qualitative research, data collection through interviews, field observations and analysis of related documents. This research revealed several main causes of these problems, including a lack of thorough planning, frequent design changes, and problems in supervision and coordination between related parties. The results of this research can provide valuable insight for the West Sumatra Provincial Government in increasing the effectiveness of implementing construction projects with APBD funding sources. By understanding the causes of existing problems, corrective steps can be taken to optimize budget use and ensure the smooth running of construction projects. This research can also be a reference for construction researchers and practitioners in similar contexts in other fields.

Abstract

The relocation of the National Capital (IKN) of the archipelago to Kalimantan reaped pros and cons from the community. However, as a democratic country, when the State has decided to move the National Capital (IKN) of the archipelago with a democratic process through law, all components of the nation should support it. The Indonesian nation needs to minimize the excesses of moving the National Capital (IKN) of the Archipelago. There is no single decision that satisfies all people, but decisions that provide greater benefits to the Indonesian nation must be supported as a form of love and devotion for the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia in 1945. The results showed that and obstacles in determining the National Capital (IKN) of the archipelago as an asymmetric area as described in the discussion were imbalance, injustice, regional conflicts, coordination and integration, resource management, inadequate infrastructure, availability of public services, uneven economic development, lack of investment and private sector development, complex interagency coordination, and social and cultural change. And there is no concrete case study regarding the implementation of the National Capital (IKN) of the archipelago as an asymmetric area because this plan is still in the planning and discussion stage.

Abstract

Indonesia as a democratic country must involve the participation of all components of society in determining the direction and policies of the country. The female voter population of 96,572,045 is greater than the male voter population of 96,294,209. The author conducted normative legal research on the existence of women's representation in DPR. As for the research results, the urgency for gender equality is: 1. Women's freedom from the patriarchal system; 2. Women can determine their future direction and goals; 3. Women as Role Models; d. Women are able to compete. The presence of women parliament can successfully change the culture from a masculine to a more female-friendly one. Regulations on women's candidacy arestated in Article 246 of the Election Law and Article 3 of PKPU No. 20 of 2018. Currently, women's representation in the DPR is 20.87%. Women's representation has succeeded in accommodating women's rights in the form of Law No. 12 of 2022 concerning Crime of Sexual Violence. An obstacle to increasing women's representation is that political parties still tend to place the serial number positions of female legislative candidates at the bottom of the serial number. With this, political parties must also consider the potential of female legislative candidates to get the leading number

This paper will discuss the understanding of Indonesia's policies in Cyber Security, in terms of technical aspects and social effects. Where the era of digital transformation raises new risks and threats, namely Cyber Security. It is important for the government, as executor and supervisor, to identify potential risks and threats to ensure cyber security and efforts to build community digital literacy during the digital transformation era. The efficiency of the measures developed and implemented to minimize risks and eliminate threats to national cybersecurity depend on the quality and appropriateness of the implemented policies. From the research results found that a comprehensive approach to analyzing the risks and threats posed by cyber threats in the era of digital transformation is needed and must cover all related processes, both technical and non-technical, in particular the relations between the actors involved. This creates significant opportunities and challenges for Indonesia's future, especially in matters of national defense security from hacking threats and other cyber problems

Abstract

This research looked at the connection between the All-Progressive Congress's internal democracy in Lagos State, Nigeria, and peacebuilding techniques. To provide direction for the investigation, two hypotheses (tested at the 0.05 level of significance) were established. All political players in the state were included in the population, which was stratified into senatorial districts to provide a sample size of 289 using correlational and descriptive research techniques. Pearson's Product-Moment Correlation Analysis was used to evaluate the data. The results of the study show that there is a positive, moderate, and significant relationship between peacebuilding strategies and power-sharing arrangements with the All-Progressives Congress in Lagos State (r =.643, ρ < 0.05). Additionally, there is a positive, weak, and significant relationship between peacebuilding strategies and inclusivity and diversity with the All-Progressives Congress in Lagos State (r =.312, ρ < 0.05). The study concludes that power-sharing in Lagos State has become increasingly important due to the diverse nature of its population, which consists of people from different ethnic, religious, and socio-economic backgrounds as well as diversity and inclusivity, as it involves recognizing and celebrating the differences that exist among individuals and communities. It is recommended in the study that the political parties in Lagos State, particularly All Progressives Congress (APC) should endeavour to observe internal democracy so as to give room for transparent party primaries, as this would reduce incidences of replacing candidates, thereby promoting an atmosphere for peaceful coexistence, equity and fairness.

Abstract

General elections are a democratic process that cannot be separated from community involvement in determining legislative and executive leaders. The achievement of democracy is certainly inseparable from various elements of society, one of which is novice voters. The limitations of beginner voters to literacy and education about elections, such as not being registered in the Permanent Voter List (DPT), are a bad sign. The research conducted is field research, with a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection technique in this research is Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with election officers and 6 Secondary Level Schools located in Siak Regency, Kandis sub-district namely Sultan Syarif Kasim SMKS, Baitul Rahman SMKS, Ponpes jabalnur, ponpes darus shofa, SMAN 3 Kandis, SMAN 1 Kandis. In Siak district there are novice voters who are classified as generation Z totaling 87. 575 (born in 1997-2012)/26.88%. The results showed that novice voters who lack literacy and education have not been selective in obtaining information about elections through various media. On the other hand, there are still beginner voters in six secondary schools who are still not registered in the permanent voter list. This shows that beginner voters who already have the right to vote can lose their right to vote due to limited information and knowledge.

Abstract

This research discusses the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through the development of Nagari-Owned Enterprises (BUMNag) in Mungka District, Lima Puluh Kota Regency, as an integrated effort for economic, social, environmental, legal, and governance development at the nagari level (local wisdom for villages in West Sumatra). In this context, BUMNag acts as a new means and approach in utilizing the potential of Nagari Mungka to improve the welfare of its people. This is done by considering the opportunities and needs of the Nagari to 'accommodate', support, and consolidate economic businesses within the Nagari area, so that it becomes a new source of income for the Nagari government in improving the local economy. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach by considering literature or reference studies. The results showed that the establishment of BUMNag has not fully implemented the eighteen goals of the SDGs program in Nagari Mungka because it is not strengthened by locally based policies, namely village regulations. It can be concluded that the existence of BUMNag is currently not maximally utilized, and there is still a lack of a comprehensive work program.
