Abstract

Multicultural theological education based on religious moderation is crucial in building a tolerant attitude among students. This study aims to develop an assessment of tolerance attitudes through the Liquid Ecclesiology approach proposed by Pete Ward. The methodology combines empirical methods based on concrete religious experience and theology. The multicultural theological education guide studied has five key elements: contemplation, reflection, construction, drafting proposals, and examining actions. This research was conducted at the State University of Jakarta and STAI DR. KH. EZ. Muttaqien focuses on Islamic theology courses for Islamic Religious Education study program students. The study results have produced a model of learning assessment instruments in Islamic Theology courses that include a commitment to nationality, rejection of violence, tolerance attitudes, and acceptance of local traditions to strengthen the spirit of tolerance in religious diversity for students.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the strategy of Islamic religious education based on arts and culture at the Kaliopak Islamic Boarding School in Klenggotan, Piyungan, Bantul, Yogyakarta. This research employs a qualitative method through observation, interviews, and documentation, with data validation using source triangulation. The findings indicate that the implemented strategies include direct, interactive, and empirical learning. As a result, students are able to comprehend the material, enhance their piety, develop a love for the Islamic arts and culture of the archipelago, and exhibit commendable character. Supporting factors include the exemplary behavior of the organizers, students’ enthusiasm for learning, support from the surrounding community, a comfortable learning environment, and adequate facilities. Challenges include the caregivers’ busy schedules, limited time, and less conducive activity arrangements. From the perspective of hadith, arts and culture are viewed as tools for fostering beauty, obedience, and monotheism in Islam.

Abstract

The writing of this article is based on the lack of environmental awareness of students at school. Therefore, the purpose of writing this article is to find out how the project-based Islamic Religious Education learning strategy for environmental awareness at school, besides that it is hoped that students can have environmental awareness at school by not throwing garbage in any place, being able to sort garbage properly and processing waste by utilizing existing school resources through interesting Islamic Religious Education lessons. The writing of this article uses qualitative research methods by using a literature study approach (Liberary research) to analyze the learning strategy of Islamic religious education based on environmental awareness projects. The conclusion of this research in general is that this strategy is carried out with project activities made by the students themselves with the following steps: 1) Research or search for problems about the cleanliness of the school environment; 2) then afterwards conduct an environmental campaign using posters not to throw garbage in place which are prepared at the next meeting; 3) Practical learning to select and categorize organic and inorganic waste; and 4) Recycling waste by trying to make ecobricks from used plastic bottles and plastic waste.

Abstract

Supervision in Islam plays an important role in maintaining morality and justice in social life, especially in the context of ethics and leadership. This study aims to identify, analyze, and synthesize the principles of supervision in the Qur'an and Hadith and examine their implications for ethics and leadership in Muslim society. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review, with literature sources drawn from indexed databases such as Google Scholar, DOAJ, and Scopus, limited to publications within the past ten years. The research findings indicate that the concepts of Hisbah, ethics, and accountability in Islamic leadership play a significant role in establishing a social order grounded in moral values and justice. Hisbah not only functions as a tool for social oversight but also as a mechanism for moral education, instilling ethical awareness in individuals and communities. This principle contributes to enhancing transparency, accountability, and social welfare, particularly within government and Islamic institutions. The main findings indicate that Islamic oversight systematically shapes responsible leadership, prioritizes maqashid syariah, and encourages active community participation in collective moral oversight. However, the main challenge in its implementation is how Islamic oversight principles can be adapted to modern legal systems without disregarding human rights. Therefore, a flexible and contextual approach is needed to ensure that Islamic oversight principles remain relevant and can be effectively applied in various aspects of community life.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in the teaching of Islamic Cultural History (SKI) at three madrasas located in Indonesia’s 3T regions (Outermost, Frontier, and Disadvantaged): MIN 2 Sangihe Islands, MTsN 1 Sangihe Islands, and MA Al-Aqsha Kendahe. The Sangihe Islands face unique geographical, socio-economic, and educational challenges that influence curriculum implementation. Employing a qualitative approach, data were collected through document analysis and in-depth interviews involving madrasa principals, curriculum vice principals, SKI teachers, and students. Findings indicate that implementation remains suboptimal due to several key challenges: (1) limited teacher capacity in developing teaching modules due to insufficient training; (2) lack of textbooks aligned with the new curriculum; (3) inadequate infrastructure, such as weak internet access and unstable electricity; and (4) a shortage of teachers, which hampers effective learning.The madrasas' stakeholders expect: (1) recruitment of more teachers through both civil servant (CPNS) and government contract (PPPK) schemes; (2) more comprehensive teacher training; (3) provision of appropriate textbooks; and (4) improvement of learning infrastructure.

Abstract

The era of disruption presents significant challenges for the world of education, particularly in curriculum relevance, learning innovation, and technology integration. As Indonesia's largest Islamic educational institution, Muhammadiyah possesses distinctive characteristics that respond to these dynamics. This study aims to identify and synthesise findings from scholarly literature regarding the relevance of Muhammadiyah education in addressing educational challenges in the disruption era through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. Regarding the PRISMA guidelines, 38 articles meeting the inclusion criteria were thematically analysed. The results indicate that Muhammadiyah education has developed innovative strategies in strengthening Islamic values-based and technology-integrated curricula, transformational leadership, and social empowerment. However, several implementation challenges remain, such as digital gaps and the need for teachers' technology literacy training. This SLR concludes that Muhammadiyah education holds strong adaptive potential but requires systemic and collaborative reinforcement to address future challenges sustainably.

Abstract

يُعد انقطاع الطمث تحولاً فسيولوجياً طبيعياً يرافقه اضطرابات نفسية معقدة نتيجة التغيرات الهرمونية الحادة وانخفاض مستويات الإستروجين. يهدف هذا البحث إلى التعرف على مستويات الاكتئاب لدى النساء المصابات باضطراب انقطاع الطمث في إدارة زاخو المستقلة وتحليل علاقته بالمتغيرات الديموغرافية كالعمر والتحصيل الدراسي والحالة الصحية والرضا الاقتصادي. اعتمدت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي باستخدام اختبار "بيك" للاكتئاب (BDI) على عينة من 75 امرأة من ربات البيوت خلال فترة انقطاع الطمث. تم استخراج صدق الأداة بطريقة الاتساق الداخلي وأظهرت النتائج معامل ثبات عالي (0.953) ومستوى اكتئاب أعلى من المتوسط الفرضي لدى أفراد العينة. توزعت شدة الاكتئاب كالتالي: 12% بوادر اكتئاب، 16% اكتئاب ضعيف، 20% اكتئاب متوسط، 27% اكتئاب شديد، و12% اكتئاب شديد جداً. أظهرت النتائج فروقاً دالة إحصائياً تبعاً للفئة العمرية (40-49 سنة)، والتحصيل الدراسي (لصالح الأقل تعليماً)، والحالة الصحية (لصالح المصابات بأمراض مزمنة). لم تظهر فروق دالة فيما يتعلق بالرضا الاقتصادي. توصي الدراسة بتصميم برامج تدخل نفسي معرفي-سلوكي مخصصة لهذه الفئة وتدريب الكوادر الطبية على اكتشاف الأعراض المبكرة للاكتئاب.
