Abstract

Perlocutionary speech acts is a speech act that provides information uttered by a speaker where the utterance contains intentions and objectives that cause an effect or influence based on the utterance. However, there are still many people who find it difficult and confused about the meaning conveyed by the speaker and the meaning understood by the speaker is different from the intention conveyed by the speech partner. This study aims to describe perlocutionary speech acts based on types and sentence forms in the anime movie Yuru Camp by Director Yoshiaki Kyougoku. This type of research is a qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive method. Qualitative research was chosen because the data studied is in the form of utterances that neeed to be explained and described in words. Data collection technique using tapping, listening, and note-taking technique. This research uses the theory of perlocutionary speech acts types and sentence forms according to Yule, and context theory according to Hymes. From the research results, it wa foun that there were 63 data of perlocutionary speech acts which were divided into 5 types and 3 forms of perlocutionary speech acts, namely: 3 data of declaration speech acts, 22 data of directive speech acts, 20 data of expressive speech acts, 11 data of representative speech acts, and 7 data of commissive speech acts. while the forms of sentences are: 42 data of declarative sentence forms, 10 data of imperative sentence forms, and 11 data 0f interrogative sentence forms.

Abstract

Tantangan yang dihadapi siswa ketika mempelajari hiragana, ketidaktertarikan mereka pada bahasa tersebut, dan sifat usang dari materi yang sebelumnya digunakan untuk mengajarkan hiragana adalah tujuan dari penelitian ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah media video pada siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan hiragananya. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pretest-posttest dengan metodologi one group dan eksperimen kuantitatif. Strategi purposive sampling digunakan untuk memperoleh data siswa kelas XI IPS 2 yang berjumlah 29 orang. Ada tiga puluh soal pada tes objektif pilihan ganda yang berfungsi sebagai alat pengumpulan data. Hasil uji-t menunjukkan bahwa H1 diterima pada tingkat signifikan karena sig dari 0,05), menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan hiragana posttest dibandingkan dengan pretest. Terbukti keterampilan hiragana siswa kelas XI IPS 2 SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang sangat dipengaruhi oleh media video.

Abstract

Mempelajari hiragana bukanlah suatu hal yang mudah, karena dari segi huruf, hiragana mempunyai bentuk huruf yang berbeda-beda dan jumlahnya banyak, sehingga hal itulah yang membuat pembelajar bahasa Jepang merasa kesulitan. membantu mereka merasakan misalnya kesulitan dalam membedakan atau mengingat huruf. Berdasarkan observasi peneliti pada saat melakukan Praktek Kerja Lapangan (PLK) periode Juli-Desember 2022 di SMAN 13 Padang dan wawancara yang dilakukan kepada guru dan siswa di sekolah tersebut, diketahui bahwa siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam mempelajari hiragana karena mempunyai ruang yang besar. banyaknya huruf dan kesamaan bentuk huruf sehingga menyebabkan menurunnya penguasaan dan minat belajar hiragana. Oleh karena itu, untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut diperlukan suatu media pembelajaran yang lebih menarik dan efektif untuk membantu atau memudahkan siswa dalam meningkatkan penguasaannya ketika mempelajari hiragana. Penggunaan media puzzle dapat membantu atau mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media puzzle terhadap penguasaan hiragana siswa kelas XII IPS SMAN 13 Padang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen kuantitatif dengan desain one-group pretest-posttest. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yaitu kelas XII IPS 3 yang berjumlah 32 orang. Hasil uji-t  diterima pada taraf signifikansi 0,05, karena nilai sig < 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05) yang berarti penguasaan hiragana pada posttest jauh berbeda dengan pretest. Dengan kata lain penggunaan media puzzle yang efektif dalam pembelajaran hiragana.

Abstract

This article reports the findings of observations regarding the implementation of project-based learning (PjBL) in Intermediate Japanese Writing Courses (Chukyu Sakubun) at one university in Indonesia. The research instruments were observation and online questionnaire for 47 students who attended Chukyu Sakubun course. The project-based learning which is implemented in this course takes the form of a group writing activity with the output of the Tadoku reading books. The activity is divided into three stages: preparation stage, implementation stage, and evaluation stage. 15 tadoku books were produced with various genres. The results of the questionnaire explained that the majority of participants were actively involved in the process. Meanwhile, observation results show that during the project work process, students are able to communicate and collaborate with group members, as well as think critically and creatively in producing products.

Abstract

The purpose of this is to describe spatial deixis in the manga Doraemon vol 1 (chapters 1-3) by Fujiko F. Fujio. The type of research used in this research is a qualitative approach. The results of this research show that there are 35 data containing types of spatial deixis and their uses, namely 26 pointing deixis, 3 situation deixis, 4 place deixis and 2 direction deixis. Meanwhile, for the type of spatial deixis, there are 18 data which are included in ninshou-gata and 17 data which contain enkin-gata.

Abstract

This study was inspired by the researcher's observation that pupils struggle to learn and remember Japanese terminology. The goal of this research was to examine the impact of crossword media on high school students' ability to learn Japanese vocabulary. This study employed a quantitative approach and a Pre Experimental Design for its investigation. The study employed a pre- and post-test design with a single group. Twenty-five students from IPS 1 in Grade 12 made up the study's sample. This research employed a systematic, unbiased sampling strategy. The information in this study comes from before and after examinations. The method of information gathering is a multiple-choice test with as many as 30 questions. The results of the Paired Samples T-Test show that the crossword game medium is significantly effective on the Japanese vocabulary mastery of students in class XII at IPS 1 SMAN 13 Padang, with a sig (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05. Additionally, pupils improved their Japanese vocabulary knowledge after utilising crossword puzzles as a learning tool. The average score before the test was 70.76, thus this boost from that to 83.32 is clear.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apa saja penyebab kesulitan belajar hiragana pada siswa SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium Universitas Negeri Padang. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI di SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium Universitas Negeri Padang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik total sampling yang berjumlah sebanyak 36 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan skala likert. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif dengan persentase. Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa faktor eksternal lebih berpengaruh terhadap kesulitan belajar hiragana dengan hasil sebesar 50,69% sedangkan faktor internal hanya berpengaruh sebesar 49,31%. Berdasarkan dari semua indikator faktor internal (kesehatan, intelegensi dan bakat, minat dan motivasi, cara belajar) masuk ke dalam kategori “tinggi”, indikator intelegensi dan bakat merupakan indikator yang memiliki persentase paling rendah, dengan demikian cara intelegensi dan bakat yang paling memiliki pengaruh paling tinggi terhadap penyebab kesulitan belajar hiragana. Pada indikator faktor eksternal (keluarga, sekolah, masyarakat dan lingkungan) masuk ke dalam kategori “tinggi”, akan tetapi indikator masyarakat dan lingkungan memiliki persentase paling rendah, berdasarkan hal tersebut faktor masyarakat dan lingkungan yang memiliki pengaruh paling tinggi terhadap penyebab kesulitan belajar hiragana

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe teachers' perceptions of the implementation of origami in craft learning in elementary school. This research is a qualitative research. Qualitative research is research that explores and understands the meaning of a number of individuals or groups of people originating from social problems. Respondents are elementary school teachers. Data collection through questionnaire. All data is collected and analyzed descriptively to obtain reliable and reliable findings. The results showed that teachers' perceptions are very positive towards the use of origami in learning crafts in elementary schools because origami really helps students in practicing motor skills and can foster students' curiosity.

Abstract

Adverbs that express certainty in Japanese are often difficult for Indonesian learners due to the lack of equivalent references. The adverbs are kitto, kanarazu, zehi, and zettaini. This contrastive analysis research will discuss the equivalence of Japanese certainty adverbs with Indonesian adverbs that use the words certain, sure, and undoubtedly with semantic studies. In addition, it will be investigated what matching phenomena occur between the meanings of the two languages. This type of research is expected to help Japanese learners to better understand the meaning of adverbs that express certainty. The results of this study show that kitto, kanarazu, zehi, and zettaini can be paired with Indonesian adverbs pasti, tentu, and undoubtedly. Kitto can be paired with certain, kanarazu can be paired with certain, zehi, can be paired with certain, and zettai ni can be paired with certain.

Abstract

This research was prompted by students challenges in comprehending the usage of Ni and De particles, which, despite conveying similar meanings, serve distinct functions. The objective of this study is to assess the proficiency in employing Ni and De particles among students in the Japanese Language Education class of 2021 at Universitas Negeri Padang. The research methodology employed is quantitative, utilizing descriptive research methods. The study’s population consists of 53 individuals, with the sample size selected through purposive sampling from the JPG 1 class of 2021, totaling 27 participants. The data for this study were derived from scores on the Ni and De particle proficiency tests administered to students in the Japanese Language Education program. Based on the findings of this research, the following conclusions can be drawn as follows. Firstly, the overall proficiency in using Ni and De particles among the class of 2021 at Universitas Negeri Padang’s Japanese Language Education Study Program falls within the “Well” qualification, with an average score of 64.8. Secondly, the proficiency in using Ni particles is categorized as “Good,” with an average score of 73.3. Thirdly, the proficiency in using De particles among students is deemed “Sufficient,” with an average score of 57.4.
