Abstract

Exclusive breastfeeding is very beneficial for babies and mothers, for the smooth process of breastfeeding, it is very important for mothers to take care of their breasts after the delivery process. Health education activities and breast care assistance for postpartum women at the KIA ANLIYAH Kendari Polyclinic aim to increase the knowledge of pregnant women about breast care for pregnant and postpartum women. Breast care during childbirth is an important part that must be considered in breastfeeding. This community service is carried out by providing information about breast care and assistance on how to do breast care with a total of 10 participants. This community service uses communicative technique methods with three approaches, namely lectures, demonstrations, questions and answers and discussions. The results of breast care counseling are very useful for increasing the knowledge and skills of pregnant women. The results of the evaluation during the activity process were found that pregnant women had understood and knew how to do good and correct breast care. With this health education, it is expected to be able to increase the knowledge and skills of breastfeeding mothers about breast care and how to do breast care so that they can breastfeed and do not experience interference in the breastfeeding process so that the exclusive breastfeeding program can be achieved. Abstrak Pemberian ASI eksklusif sangat bermanfaat bagi bayi dan ibu, demi kelancaran proses menyusui, sangat penting bagi ibu melakukan perawatan payudara setelah proses persalinan. Kegiatan edukasi kesehatan dan pendampingan perawatan payudara pada ibu nifas di Poliklinik KIA ANLIYAH Kendari bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang perawatan payudara pada ibu hamil dan nifas. Perawatan payudara selama persalinan adalah salah satu bagian penting yang harus diperhatikan dalam pemberian air susu ibu (ASI). Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan cara memberikan informasi tentang perawatan payudara dan pendampingan cara melakukan perawatan payudara dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 10 orang. Pengabdian masyarakat ini menggunakan metode teknik komunikatif dengan tiga pendekatan yaitu ceramah, demonstrasi, tanya jawab dan diskusi. Hasil dari penyuluhan perawatan payudara sangat bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan ibu hamil. Hasil evaluasi selama proses kegiatan berlangsung didapatkan ibu hamil telah paham dan tahu bagaimana cara melakukan perawatan payudara yang baik dan benar. Dengan adanya edukasi kesehatan ini, diharapkan mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan ibu menyusui tentang perawatan payudara dan cara melakukan perawatan payudara agar dapat menyusui dan tidak mengalami gangguan dalam proses menyusui sehingga program ASI eksklusif dapat tercapai.

Abstract

The implementation of community service in the form of training in the development of processed food products based on village potential which has the aim of developing village potential through processed food products which can be an idea for business opportunities so that they can indirectly build the community's economy as well as poverty alleviation. Bina Baru Village, Kampar Kiri Tengah District, Kampar Regency is a village where community service is located and is the target for community service. The form of the activity program from the service team is training on the development of processed food products which is carried out on a scale. The results of the training activities that produce processed food products consist of 3 products, namely Tofu Chips, Tempe Nuggets and Spinach Sticks. The conclusion is that the service goes according to plan and the community has a source of income from processed food products. Abstrak Pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa pelatihan pengembangan produk olahan pangan berbasis potensi desa yang memiliki tujuan mengembangkan potensi desa melaui produk olahan pangan yang dapat menjadi ide peluang usaha sehingga bisa membangun perekonomian masyarakat secara tidak lansung sekaligus sebagai penanggulangan kemiskinan. Desa Bina Baru Kecamatan Kampar Kiri Tengah Kabupaten Kampar merupakan desa lokasi pengabdian dan yang menjadi sasaran pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Bentuk program kegiatan dari tim pengabdian adalah pelatihan pengembangan produk olahan pangan yang dilakukan secara berskala. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan yang menghasilkan produk olahan pangan yang terdiri dari 3 produk yaitu Kripik tahu, Nugget Tempe dan Stik Bayam. Simpulan bahwa pengabdian berjalan sesuai rencana dan masyarakat memiliki sumber pendapatan dari hasil olahan pangan.

Abstract

Halal certification is an activity or process carried out to meet certain standardization achievements with the aim of having formal legal recognition that the products that have been produced meet halal requirements. Cibeusi Village, Ciater District in Subang Regency has the potential for SMEs with a variety of processing in the food sector. Based on observations made during the KKNM activities, the village has 20 SMEs with 10% of SMEs having halal certificates. The service is carried out using the advocacy method. With the Self Declaration Program accompanied by the Halal Center of Muslim Scholars, it is carried out to make it easier for business actors to obtain halal labels on their product packaging. Thus, the activity received a positive response from various parties. Abstrak Sertifikasi halal adalah kegiatan ataupun proses yang dilakuan guna memenuhi capaian standarisasi tertentu dengan bertujuan untuk memiliki pengakuan legal formal bahwa produk yang telah diproduksi memenuhi ketentuan halal. Desa Cibeusi, Kecamatan Ciater di Kabupaten Subang memiliki potensi UKM dengan ragam pengolahan dibidang pangan. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan yang telah dilakukan selama kegiatan KKNM, desa tersebut memiliki UKM berjumlah 20 dengan 10% UKM yang telah memiliki sertifikat halal. Pengabdian dilakukan dengan metode advokasi. Dengan Program Self Declare didampingi Halal Center Cendekia Muslim dilakukan untuk mempermudah para pelaku usaha dalam memperoleh label halal pada kemasan produknya. Dengan demikian kegiatan tersebut mendapat respon positif dari berbagai pihak.

Abstract

There are several factors that support the success of a company's goals and objectives, namely a business in skills that has been carried out by the amil of Baznas of South Kalimantan Province. To improve amil performance, it is necessary to develop public speaking and personal characteristics. The purpose of this study was to find out whether public speaking and the development of personal characteristics have an influence on the performance of amil, and what impact will occur in the company if there is an influence of public speaking and the development of these characteristics. Public speaking is an ability to speak to many people and individually in conveying a purpose that can be understood by the listener. Personal characteristics are ways of interpreting and seeing certain things including age, sex, marital status in the organization. The research method used in this research is to use the literature study method through a qualitative approach. Which type of qualitative literature study or literature study is a research stage carried out through library sources, either primary or secondary. The result of this research is that the public speaking Workshop has succeeded in improving the quality of public speaking and understanding of the characteristics seen from the results of the questionnaires that have been filled out by the Amil BAZNAS of south Kalimantan Province that after the workshop they know some tips to minimize nervousness and increase confidence when communicating and easy to understand. Interlocutor because they know the tips that have been given. Abstrak Terdapat beberapa faktor yang menunjang keberhasilan sebuah cita-cita dan tujuan dari suatu perusahaan yakni sebuah usaha dalam keterampilan yang telah dilakukan oleh amil Baznas Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan. Untuk meningkatkan kinerja amil maka perlu yang namanya pengembangan public speaking dan karakteristik personal. Tujuan penelitian ini diadakan agar dapat mengetahui apakah public speaking dan pengembangan karakteristik personal memilik pengaruh terhadap kinerja amil, dan apa dampak yang akan terjadi di perusahaan jika terdapat pengaruh public speaking dan pengembangan karakteristik tersebut. Public speaking adalah sebuah kemampuan berbicara terhadap orang banyak maupun perindividu dalam menyampaikan suatu maksud dan tujuan yang dapat dimengerti oleh sipendengar (Fitria, 2022). Karakteristik personal adalah cara menafsirkan dan melihat suatu hal tertentu mencakup usia jenis kelamin status perkawinan dalam organisasi. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan metode studi pustaka melalui jenis pendekatan kualitatif. Yang mana jenis kualitatif studi pustaka atau studi literature ini merupakan tahapan penelitian yang dilaksanakan melalui sumber kepustakaan, baik berupa primer ataupun skunder (Ekayanti et al., 2019). Hasil Penelitian ini adalah Workshop Public Speaking berhasil meningkatkan kualitas Public Speaking dan pemahaman tentang karakteristik terlihat dari hasil kuesioner yang telah diisi amil Baznas Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan bahwa mereka setelah adanya workshop tersebut mengetahui beberapa tips untuk meminimalisir rasa gugup dan meningkatkan percaya diri ketika berkomunikasi dan mudah memahami lawan bicara karena mengetahui tips yang telah diberikan.

Abstract

Writing an article from the results of the study may be something difficult for those who are not familiar with it. As a teacher or educator, it is appropriate to have the ability to write scientific articles so that students have a model for school academic life. The low productivity of teachers in writing scientific publications is a problem related to professionalism. Likewise, teachers who teach in schools in Ciherang village, Gunung Sari district, still do not participate in research activities, rarely conduct research in their fields, and lack understanding of articles and scientific publications. Based on these problems, the community service team of Bina Bangsa University carried out training on writing scientific articles. The implementation method has two stages, namely the preparation stage and the training implementation stage. 19 teacher participants attended the training. After the training, the teacher's insight and knowledge about writing scientific articles increases and the teacher can improve his professionalism

Abstract

The literacy level of the Indonesian people towards Islamic financial institutions is still deficient, especially in the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector. The low level of Islamic financial literacy makes MSMEs seek capital from illegal institutions, moneylenders or online loans due to the proliferation of low-interest offers and easy access to capital without complicated bureaucracy. Suppose we know that it is also easy to access business capital in Islamic financial institutions. Therefore, there is a need for socialization regarding the literacy of Islamic financial institutions in MSMEs. This socialization aims to increase information about the existence of Islamic financial institutions and products and services owned by Islamic financial institutions and to invite MSME actors domiciled in the DKI Jakarta area to abandon the concept of interest (usury). This method of implementing community service activities is still in the atmosphere of COVID.19 pandemic, so the implementation is carried out online (online). The implementation of the activity begins with the presentation of the material, simulations, giving questionnaires through the google form and evaluation. The results of the activities achieved are based on the answers of the participants who filled out the questionnaire after participating in the socialization activities for MSME actors, the level of understanding of knowledge on literacy of Islamic financial institutions, banking, and non-banking is average. The average is quite significant. The implementation of this activity implies a need for synergy between universities and the community, especially Muslims, to access Islamic financial institutions in daily life

Abstract

Community empowerment through One Village One Product (OVOP) is the concept of the Bukit Payung Village service team. The OVOP concept plays a role in improving the quality of rural potential. The service activity was carried out in Bukit Payung Village, Bangkinang District, Kampar Regency using three interrelated OVOP principles, the first principle, optimizing local potential in producing a product that is only one and number one, then the principle of development based on independence, creativity and innovation and which lastly able to develop human resources. The form of activity from the service team is in the form of training on the use of cow dung and palm sticks as well as innovation of processed yam fruit. This activity aims to create superior village products and realize prosperity by involving the role of the Bukit Payung Village community. Service activities are carried out using the PRA (Participatory Rurral Appraisal) method with three stages, starting with the preparation stage then implementation and reflection. Service activities that produce 3 products, namely Be Ice Bengkuang, compost and palm sticks. Abstrak Pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui One Village One Product (OVOP) menjadi konsep tim pengabdian Desa Bukit Payung. Konsep OVOP berperan sebagai peningkatan kualitas potensi perdesaan. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan di Desa Bukit Payung, Kecamatan Bangkinang Kabupaten Kampar menggunkaan tiga prinsip OVOP yang saling berkaitan, prinsip yang pertama, mengoptimalkan potensi lokal dalam menghasilkan suatu produk yang only one and number one, selanjutnya prinsip dalam pengembangan berdasarkan kemandirian, kreatifitas dan inovatif dan yang terakhir mampu mengembangkan SDM . Bentuk kegiatan dari tim pengabdian berupa pelatihan pemanfataan limbah kotoran sapi dan lidi sawit serta inovasi olahan buah bengkuang. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan produk unggulan desa serta mewujudkan kesejahteraan dengan melibatkan peran masyarakat Desa Bukit Payung. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan menggunakan metode PRA (Participatory Rurral Appraisal) dengan tiga tahapan, dimulai dengan tahap persiapan kemudian pelaksanaan dan refleksi. Kegiatan pengabdian yang menghasilkan 3 produk yaitu Be Ice Bengkuang, pupuk kompos dan kerajinan piring lidi sawit.

Abstract

Circumcision is the act of cutting or removing part or all of the skin covering the front of the penis. Circumcision is very beneficial for health, namely reducing the risk of urinary tract infections, overcoming phimosis, paraphimosis, balaniditis and can reduce the risk of penile malignancy and the spread of sexually transmitted diseases. This method of service is carried out by promoting community service activities in Andepali, then for those who are interested register to the committee. The committee will screen the participants for mass circumcision according to indications. The implementation of the activities will be carried out according to a specified schedule involving the health team from the Faculty of Medicine, Halu Oleo University and the Puskesmas. The result of this community service is that a mass circumcision has been carried out at the Andepali Village Meeting Hall, Sampara sub-district on March 6, 2019, which was attended by 25 patients who underwent circumcision. There are 6 health workers in the service team consisting of general practitioners, nurses and students of the Faculty of Medicine, Halu Oleo University. The conclusion of this community service has been circumcision and mass treatment of economically disadvantaged patients. Abstrak Khitan merupakan tindakan memotong atau menghilangkan sebagian atau seluruh kulit penutup depan dari penis. Khitan sangat bermanfaat untuk kesehatan yaitu mengurangi resiko infeksi saluran kencing, mengatasi fimosis, parafimosis, balaniditis dan dapat mengurangi resiko keganasan penis serta penyebaran penyakit menular seksual. Metode pengabdian ini di laksanakan dengan promosi kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat Andepali, kemudian bagi yang berminat mendaftar ke panitia. Panitia akan melakukan screening untuk peserta khitan massal yang sesuai indikasi. Pelaksanaan kegiatan akan dilaksanakan sesuai jadwal yang ditentukan yang melibatkan tim kesehatan dari Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Halu Oleo dan Pihak Puskesmas. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat ini berupa telah dilaksanakan khitan massal di Balai Pertemuan Desa Andepali, kecamatan Sampara pada tanggal 6 Maret 2019 yang diikuti oleh peserta yang menjalani khitan sebanyak 25 pasien. Petugas kesehatan sebanyak 6 tim pengabdi terdiri atas dokter umum, perawat dan mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Halu Oleo. Kesimpulan pengabdian masyarakat ini telah di lakukan khitan dan pengobatan massal terhadap pasien tidak mampu secara ekonomi.

Abstract

Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) or also known as sexually transmitted infections (STIs) are infections that are generally transmitted through unsafe sex. The purpose of this community service is to increase public knowledge about sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). The method used is counseling with lectures, discussions, and questions and answers as well as pre and post tests about sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). The counseling participants were pregnant women who visited the KIA Poly Hospital of Aliyah Kendari Hospital as many as 20 people. The result was that the participants were very enthusiastic in watching and participating in the PkM activities. The pre-test of participants' knowledge was carried out by the service team and after the counseling, the mother's knowledge was also measured. The conclusion of this service is that there is an increase in knowledge of pregnant women about sexually transmitted infections (STDs).

Early Initiation of Breastfeeding is the provision of Mother's Milk (ASI) to the baby in the first hour after birth, where the baby is placed on the mother's chest and allows the baby to find the mother's nipple. Early Breastfeeding Initiation (IMD) is one way to reduce the Infant Mortality Rate (IMR). The purpose of this community service is to increase public knowledge (pregnant women) about Early Initiation of Breastfeeding and exclusive breastfeeding. The method used was counseling with lectures, discussions, and questions and answers as well as pre and post tests on Early Initiation of Breastfeeding and exclusive breastfeeding.
