Abstract

CBT E-learning is a learning evaluation technique that switches written exams into online-based exams that are carried out using computer devices and internet networks. The purpose of this research is to find out the importance of using CBT E-learning in the process of evaluating learning outcomes in education with Information Technology which is growing rapidly. The research method used in this journal article research is the library method using journals, books and national and international web articles related to Computer Based Test (CBT), E-learning, learning evaluation and CBT utilization in learning evaluation as a source of information. The results of this study are CBT can help educators in compiling more interesting exam questions by including images, videos and audio into the question, CBT also provides an advantage in scoring which is done automatically so as to minimize errors in giving scores, but the application of CBT is not easy, because not all schools have facilities that realize, and CBT requires considerable costs in developing and maintaining the devices and applications used.

Abstract

Student learning outcomes are determined by the teacher's strategic role in teaching and learning activities. Learning will feel boring for students if it only focuses on the teacher, while the students' activities are just listening. It is important for teachers to choose a learning model that involves students during the learning process. One of them is the Team Game Tournament (TGT) type cooperative learning model. This research aims to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education subjects in class VII Rangkayo Rasuna Said SMP IT Baitul Muslim by using the Team Game Tournament (TGT) type cooperative learning model. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with two cycles consisting of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Class VII student Rangkayo Rasuna Said SMP IT Baitul Muslim is the research subject. The data collection methods are observation and tests. Data were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The research results are: 1) student learning outcomes during the pre-cycle were 56% of students completed, meaning student learning outcomes in PAI subjects were still low.  2) the use of the TGT type cooperative learning model can increase student learning outcomes in PAI subjects, namely in cycle I by 67% to 87% in cycle II. 3) student learning activity increased from 69% in cycle I to 87% in cycle II. Based on these results, this research achieved classical completeness.

Abstract

In this era of globalization and technological progress which is full of moral challenges, Aqidah Akhlak courses on campus are an important strategy for internalizing religious character values in students. Amidst the influence of instant culture and pragmatism, this religious education not only forms a spiritual foundation, but also strengthens the integrity and morality of the younger generation, making them ready to face the dynamics of modern life and compete positively in society. This research aims to provide a description of the strategy for internalizing religious character values through the Aqidah Akhlak course, including understanding, applying and living it, in order to form individuals with integrity and religious character at various levels of education, especially at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach and case study method. Data was obtained using observation methods, in-depth interviews, and document analysis, then analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana interactive model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and then drawing conclusions. Research findings indicate that the strategy for internalizing religious character values through the Aqidah Akhlak course in higher education uses methods of modeling behavior, forming habits, applying rules, and providing motivation. This strategy forms students who are sincere, honest, disciplined, patient, and care about others, and are able to integrate religious values in academic and social life. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of a holistic approach in courses to build student character who is competitive and has integrity in the modern education era.Keywords: Internalization, Religious Character, Moral Creed

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to improve students' interest in learning by applying the Index Card Match method in Islamic Religious Education in class VIII of SMP IT Baitul Muslim, Way Jepara District, East Lampung Regency. The main problem faced is the low interest in learning students in Islamic Religious Education, which affects their involvement and understanding of the material being taught. The method used in this study is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with an observation and interview approach carried out through several cycles, namely pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle II. The subjects of this study were 22 female students of class VIII Dewi Sartika. The study results showed a significant increase in students' interest in learning, namely from 58.03% in the pre-cycle, increasing to 76.93% in cycle I, and reaching 91.02% in cycle II. The application of the Index Card Match method has proven effective in creating an interactive and collaborative learning atmosphere, which ultimately succeeded in increasing students' interest in learning. The findings of this study are expected to provide practical contributions in the application of fun and relevant active learning strategies in the field of Islamic Religious Education, as well as broaden references for educators in choosing attractive and appropriate approaches to learning.Keywords: Index Card Match, Learning Interest, Islamic Education

Abstract

This study aims to (1) Reveal and analyze the influence of leadership education on the personality of students at the Manahijussadat Islamic Boarding School, (2) Reveal and analyze the influence of the role of teachers on the personality of students at the Manahijussadat Islamic Boarding School, and (3) Reveal and analyze the influence of leadership education and the role of teachers on the personality of students at the Manahijussadat Islamic Boarding School. The method used is a quantitative method. The sampling technique used purposive sampling and saturated samples of 82 students of OPPM Manahijussadat. The data collection technique used a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Then the analysis technique in descriptive analysis, Prerequisite testing, and hypothesis testing was processed using SPSS version 0.29. The results of the study showed: (1) There is no influence of leadership education on the personality of students at the Manahijussadat Islamic Boarding School as indicated by the results of the t-test in the form of a sig value > 0.05, namely 0.101; (2) There is an influence of the teacher's role on the personality of students at the Manahijussadat Islamic Boarding School, indicated by the results of the t-test in the form of a sig value <0.05, namely 0.007; and (3) There is an influence of leadership education and the role of teachers on the personality of students at the Manahijussadat Islamic Boarding School, indicated by the results of the F-test in the form of sig <0.05, namely 0.01. The coefficient of determination value is 0.204 or 20.4%, this value can be interpreted that the variables of leadership education and the role of teachers simultaneously have a contribution to the influence of changes in the personality of students at the Manahijussadat Islamic Boarding School by 20.4% while 79.6% is influenced by other factors. Thus, this study shows that leadership education and the role of teachers have a simultaneous influence. In contrast, partial leadership education does not have a significant effect on the personality of students at the Manahijussadat Islamic Boarding School and the role of teachers has a significant impact on the personality of students at the Manahijussadat Islamic Boarding School.Keywords: Leadership Education, Role of Teachers, Personality

Abstract

The teaching and learning process between Prophet Khidir and Prophet Moses in the context of educational interaction is an example that is rich in educational values in Islam. This story, listed in the Qur'an surah al kahf verses 66 to 78 which describes the journey of Prophet Moses who wants to learn from Prophet Khidir, a person who has knowledge that he does not have. This study aims to analyze the aspects of educational interaction that occurred between the two prophets, including the principles of learning, the manners of teachers and students. Through a qualitative approach and text analysis, this study found that the interaction between Khidir and Moses reflected the importance of discipline, patience, and mutual respect in the educational process. In addition, the lesson given by Prophet Khidir to Prophet Moses shows a contextual and gradual learning method, where every action has deep wisdom. The results of this study are expected to provide new insights into the concept of education in Islam and its application in the modern context.

Abstract

This research addresses the issue of transforming learning evaluation models to be more aligned with the demands of Society 5.0, where technology integration plays a crucial role. The study aims to explore and analyze the adaptation of technology-based evaluation models in educational settings, highlighting their effectiveness and challenges. Utilizing a descriptive qualitative research method, data were collected through interviews with educators, document analysis, and observations in various educational institutions. The study found that while the integration of technology in evaluation processes has the potential to enhance learning outcomes and provide more accurate assessments, there are significant challenges related to the readiness of both educators and students, as well as infrastructure limitations. The findings underscore the need for continuous professional development for educators, investments in educational technology, and a more nuanced understanding of the diverse needs of learners in this new era. The research contributes to the ongoing discourse on educational innovation and the necessity of evolving evaluation models to meet the expectations of Society 5.0.Keywords: learning evaluation, learning process, and learning application

Abstract

Communication is one of the important elements in da'wah. The success and failure of da'wah is determined by the accuracy of the communication used by da'i as a communicator in conveying messages or information to mad'u whose position as communicant. The purpose of this study is to find out how to proper communication in the da'wah perspective of the Qur'an. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with this type of library research. Collect data through the study of books, journals, and literature related to the theme discussed. In understanding the content of the Qur'an using the approach of tafsir maudhu'i / thematic. The results of this study show that the position of communication perspective of the Qur'an occupies a very important position. In the Qur'an the word referring to the meaning of communication is the word al-bayān mentioned in the Qur'an surah ar-Raẖmān[55] verse 4 which means the ability to speak, then the word qaulan which is repeatedly mentioned in the Qur'an among them in surat an-Nisā [3] verse 5 which means speech. The Qur'an gives a hint that in preaching must use proper communication with qaulan ma'rûfan which means speaking in good words or not saying harsh words and hate speech in conveying the message of da'wah. The second uses qaulan sadīdan which means true words or messages conveyed based on facts and do not lie. What the Qur'an hints about communication in da'wah shows that words that contain hate speech and words that contain lies cannot be justified in da'wah activities.

Abstract

Islamic Religion has been present and developed in the *Onderafdeeling* Indragiri Riau region for several centuries through neighboring areas. However, the actual practice of Islam in Indragiri Riau was not fully aligned with the teachings brought by Prophet Muhammad SAW. Nevertheless, Islamic teachings underwent significant *changes* in the early 20th century when Tuan Guru Sapat (Syekh Abdurrahman Shiddiq) settled in the area. Therefore, this research aims to explore in detail the contributions of Tuan Guru Sapat during his relatively brief presence in the region, which nonetheless had significant implications for the Riau community, particularly in the Indragiri Hilir area. This study employs historical research methodology, including: *Heuristic* (data collection process), verification (source criticism), interpretation (data analysis), and *historiography* (historical writing process). The research findings reveal several key contributions by Tuan Guru Sapat in the region: 1. Establishment of the first Islamic boarding school in Indragiri Hilir Riau 2. Appointment as Mufti in the Indragiri Riau Kingdom 3. Encouragement of Indragiri residents to pursue studies abroad (Mecca, Medina, Egypt, etc.) 4. Abstract

This research is motivated by several things, including the negligence of the majority of Muslim communities in emulating the intelligence of the Prophet Muhammad in facing and solving various life problems. The Muslim community's ignorance and unwillingness to study the history of the life of the Prophet Muhammad means that they have no guidance, so they cannot face, let alone solve, the problems of their lives. This research aims to reveal the essence of intelligence/fathonah possessed by the Prophet Muhammad SAW, which is then used as a reference for the Muslim community as a basis or reference in navigating a life full of all trials and problems.What is used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The results of this research are that the Prophet Muhammad had the most perfect and diverse intelligence (multiple intelligences), In fact, no one can match the intelligence possessed by the Prophet Muhammad. The diversity of intelligence he possesses has been proven by his having held all professions and succeeded in carrying them out well, he has been in trade, he is a teacher who teaches, he is a preacher, he is a state leader, he is a warlord, he is a diplomat, he is a thinker, and so on. Therefore, it is appropriate for every Muslim to emulate the intelligence of the Prophet Muhammad as a basis or guide in living a life full of problems and challenges.Keywords: Intelligence, Fathonah, Prophet Muhammad SAW
