Abstract

Public service is a product of public bureaucracy that is accepted by users and the wider community. Therefore, public service can be defined as a series of activities carried out by the public bureaucracy, for example making identity cards, birth certificates and so on. Improvements to public services, especially in education, will improve and be more equitable. This is due to many limitations, both in terms of education budget, teaching staff, facilities such as school buildings, libraries, laboratories and scholarships for the poor. Therefore, it is hoped that educational services can be felt equally by the community in meeting their basic needs. In carrying out innovations in the field of education, the Regency Government directs, guides, supervises, supervises, coordinates, monitors, evaluates, and controls the organizers of units, pathways, levels, and types of education in accordance with national policies in the field of education and regional policies in the field of education within the framework of managing the education system. National Analysis of the challenges faced and opportunities for service development of the Kediri District Education Office requires an analysis of internal and external conditions. This requires an analysis of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, challenges (Threats), or a SWOT analysis of the conditions of education, youth and sports in Kediri Regency which is basically a description of the service performance of the Kediri Regency Education Office.

Abstract

This research is motivated by looking at the existing reality, the learning process of Islamic Religious education such as Al-Qur'an Hadith, Aqidah Akhlak, Fiqh, and Islamic Cultural History in class seen as less effective and less creative in using various methods and media during the teaching and learning process takes place. So that some students are less enthusiastic and tend not to pay attention to the teacher's explanation, and are even busy with their respective activities. The focus of this research is the role of PAI teachers in improving the quality of student learning, the supporting and inhibiting factors for PAI teachers in improving the quality of student learning, and the efforts made by PAI teachers in improving the quality of student learning. This research uses a descriptive qualitative type at Muhammadiyah Islamic Junior High School Bandung Muhammadiyah Boarding School (MBS 1) Tulungagung. Data was taken from the head of the madrasa, the deputy head of curriculum, and PAI teachers. Collecting data process using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study are the role of PAI teachers in improving the quality of student learning as educators, guides, facilitators, and motivators. Supporting factors are professional PAI teachers and the availability of adequate facilities and infrastructure. Inhibiting factor lies in the differences in characteristics that exist in students. PAI teachers' efforts to improve the quality of student learning by teaching material using interesting methods accompanied by motivation.

Abstract

The Learning Process Cannot be separated from cognitive, social and cultural development. One of the figures who discussed cognitive devolopment was Lev Vygotsky, in which Lev Vygotsky argued that children’s knowledge is influenced by their environment,that knowledge is obtained by students from interactions with the surrounding environment. So it needs to be discussed about how cognitive development, the theory of cognitive development according to Vygotsky and the implications for learning. With the aim of being able to describe the theory of cognitive development according to Lev Vygotsky and the implications for learning. The method used in this writing is a qualitative method in the form of a description with a library research approach. The results of this study state that there are three theories of cognitive development according to Vygotsky, namely through the Zona of Proximal Development (ZPD), namely the distance between the actual level of development and potential development, scaffolding namely assistance from people who are more competent and language and thoughts which are the beginning of communication. Good quality so that the implications in a teacher’s learning adapt to the cognitive development of children and design collaborative and cooperative learning. Keywords: Cognitive, Lygotsky, Learning

Abstract

The research aims to describe the historical thinking of the ancient philosopher Ibn Rushd regarding education, then explain the relevance of educational thought according to Ibn Rushd to Islamic education in the millennial era. Researchers used the library research method in compiling this article. Then the researcher collects data sources through manuscript literature, journals, books, and articles that are related to the discussion of this research. While the results of the research show that Ibnu Rushd has thoughts and ideas about education, that education is an applicable matter that needs to be supported by the right model too, so that its implementation is always in accordance with its theoretical implementation, with the aim of providing an accurate understanding so that it can be realized in the right actions . Ibn Rushd's view of education that is structured in terms of goals, directed curriculum, appropriate learning methods, and qualified educators are important factors in determining the success of education. Therefore, Ibn Rushd's ideas can be used as an important guide in the development of education.

Abstract

Based on Law Number 57 of 2021 concerning Teacher Performance Standards, National Education aims to educate the nation by improving the quality of teachers, therefore there is a need for teacher performance assessments that aim to determine the ability or expertise of each teacher so that teachers can carry out their duties professionally. Teacher performance is an achievement that can be measured through predetermined and mutually agreed standards. Teacher Performance Standards are related to the quality of teachers in carrying out their duties such as being a teacher who makes students feel at home in class, understanding preparation and design of learning assessments, being able to apply interesting and not boring learning media, being able to create a lively classroom atmosphere by involving students in various activities. learning experience and being a strict teacher when learning is not appropriate. This article aims to explain the importance of teacher performance and motivation to achieve teacher performance appraisal. Teaching is a noble job, because the teaching profession is very well known among the public for its patience in dealing with students. There are several obstacles or obstacles in assessing teacher performance, one of which is an unclear standard due to inconsistent and changing standards so that it can affect teacher achievement. In addition to obstacles, there are opportunities for teacher performance, namely the achievement of teacher quality so that it can be said to be a professional teacher. Teacher Performance Assessment can improve the ability of teachers in Indonesia.

Abstract

Islamic education is increasing with the times. Experts formulate and rearrange the structure of Islamic education, especially in the 21st century as it is today. Modern Islamic education is not just a transfer of knowledge but a foundation of faith and obedience. Therefore, what kind of Islamic educational institutions are in accordance with modern life like now. In this context the author aims to identify Islamic education in modern pesantren. The modernization of Islamic education is a form of renewal of the previous education system to achieve glory in the future and can give birth to an advanced Islamic civilization. The oldest educational institution in Indonesia, namely pesantren, is consistent in contributing to the socio-religious field to date. In this millennial era, all activities already use technology so that they can keep up with the times. This existing progress can be followed by one of the Islamic educational institutions, namely the Islamic Boarding School. In his perspective on modern Islamic boarding schools, Muhammad Abduh emphasizes that any learning at a given Islamic boarding school should use the discussion method because according to him reasoning power will be damaged if you always use the rote method.

Abstract

The Darussa’adah Mojoagung Seputih Jaya Islamic Boarding School, established since 1986, plays a significant role in the development of Islamic religious education, particularly in the Seputih Jaya community and more broadly in the Gunung Sugih and Lampung Tengah regions. The management of the boarding school plays a key role in enhancing the quality of education at the Darus Sa’adah Boarding School in Lampung Tengah by employing various strategies, including: Firstly, the boarding school management actively contributes to improving the quality of education at Darus Sa’adah Boarding School, as evidenced by the effective and efficient implementation of inputs that yield positive outputs through a quality educational process. The boarding school successfully produces graduates who are not only proficient in religious studies but also skilled in various other fields. Furthermore, the educational legitimacy of the boarding school has been recognized by the government. Secondly, to enhance the quality of education, Darus Sa’adah Boarding School has devised various programs, including daily, weekly, monthly, and even annual programs, organized and implemented by the boarding school administrators and all students. These programs are supported by effective and efficient madrasah education, as well as an environment and facilities that are adequate.

Abstract

One very important component in the formation of generations is Islamic religious education (PAI). This research is a literature study with a qualitative approach. This research aims to understand the basic concepts of PAI education and learning innovation. The Qur'an, al-Hadith, philosophy, history, psychology, sociologist, scientific, and technological education are the pillars or foundations of education. Nurturing human beings intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually is the main goal of education. Educational principles are frameworks that include information about the quality of learning materials that have been informally evaluated as guidelines. The four principles that must exist in education are humanism, humanization, humanities, and humanity. PAI learning is one of the subjects taught in schools, madrasahs, and pesantren. PAI teachers can use basic learning strategies such as determining the beginning of learning, mastering the material, choosing media methods and models, and assessing learning outcomes.

Abstract

Prayer is an obligation for every Muslim; even in an illness, one must perform the five daily prayers under any circumstances and anywhere. Prayer is a worship and a compulsory act for a Muslim. Because that is one of the important pillars of Islam, which is second only to shahada. The purpose of the research to be achieved in this study is to determine the influence of understanding the Book of Fathul Qorib on the quality of student prayers at the Hidayatul Qur’an Islamic Boarding School in Batanghari, Lampung Timur. This type of research uses a “causal associative” with a quantitative approach for data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires, tests and documentation.  Based on the study's results, the author can conclude that understanding the book of Fathul Qarib influences the quality of student prayer worship at the Hidayatul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School in Batanghari, East Lampung. The value of t calculated > ttable is 2.562> 2.0 24, and the significance value is 0.0 14 < 0.05, The magnitude of the coefficient of determination (R Square) is 0.147 or equal to 14.7%. This number means that the variable of Understanding the Book of Fathul Qarib (X) affects the variable Quality of Santri Prayer (Y) by 14.7%. At the same time, the rest (100% - 14.7% = 85.3%) are influenced by other variables outside this regression equation or not studied.

Abstract

The purpose of Islamic education is the containment of certain values that view the Islamic religion which in its realization is realized by having an Islamic personality who believes and fears God Almighty, has a noble, healthy, and knowledgeable nature. This is contrary to the current reality of moral degradation so that educational institutions need to strive to live prophetic values through building a school culture based on these prophetic values. In the process of collecting data, the author made observations and interviews with related parties. This research uses qualitative methods as research methods. Based on the results of research conducted by researchers at SMK Muhammadiyah Kajen, that SMK Muhammadiyah Kajen has a school culture called the Spirit of Subuh. The Spirit of Subuh program at SMK Muhammadiyah Kajen is an implementation of prophetic values in everyday life. The congregational Fajr Spirit Movement has a noble goal, which is to get used to a healthy life spiritually and physically. The choice of dawn time was chosen because at that time we have the best energy. Through this program, the school wants to shape the Islamic character of its students. One of the methods chosen is through morning prayers performed in congregation. The Semangat Subuh program is also one of the efforts to realize the school's vision, which is to produce Islamic, competent, and outstanding graduates. This concept of example is found in the Qur'an Surah Al-Ahzab verse 21 Therefore, the teacher as the successor of the struggle of the Prophet should be an example for his students. Exemplary and habituation in education is one of the important factors that can determine success in prophetic values.
