Abstract

This research aims to examine whether there is a difference in learning outcomes between two groups of Madrasah Aliyah students. The first group consists of students not involved in Mobile Gaming, while the second group comprises students actively engaged in Mobile Gaming. The research method employed is quantitative research, with data collection conducted through a survey of 302 students in the twelfth grade of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 1 Tulungagung. The survey results indicate that 60.59%, or 183 students, belong to the group that does not play Mobile Gaming, while 39.4%, or 119 students, are Mobile Gaming players. The average learning outcomes of both student groups were analyzed using the Mann-Whitney U test to assess the differences between them. The Mann-Whitney U test results show that the learning outcomes of students in the group not playing Mobile Gaming are higher, although the difference is not significant (median=92.18), compared to the group of students playing Mobile Gaming (median=91.75), U=13132.5, p=0.002. The Hodges-Lehmann estimate of 0.5 supports the Mann-Whitney U test results, indicating a small median difference between the two student groups. Despite the observed difference, the small effect size is indicated by the rank biserial correlation value ra=0.206. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is no significant difference in learning outcomes between the two student groups, those who play Mobile Gaming and those who do not.

Abstract

The essence of education lies in instilling noble morals within students, fostering an environment free from humiliation. Recognizing the crucial need for children to internalize values, norms, and morals, this research explores the implementation of the Duha prayer at MA Muhammadiyah Bandung (MBS 1) Tulungagung. The institution's strategic adoption of a prayer program serves as a commendable initiative to cultivate a steadfast commitment to spirituality and personal development. This research focuses on three key aspects: the methodology employed in implementing the Duha prayer, identifying the supporting factors and obstacles encountered during the implementation of the Duha prayer; and assessing the impact of Duha prayer on the enhancement of spiritual intelligence among students. This research uses a qualitative approach, this descriptive research utilizes data collection methods such as interviews and documentation of observations. The data analysis involves three stages: data condensation, presentation, and conclusion. The validity of the data is ensured through triangulation techniques and multiple sources. The findings reveal a comprehensive understanding of the Duha prayer implementation at MA Muhammadiyah Bandung (MBS 1) Tulungagung, encompassing execution, supervision, guidance, and the purpose behind prayer implementation. Factors supporting the Duha prayer implementation include collaborative efforts between teachers and students, well-equipped prayer facilities, and a conducive environment. Challenges arise from the limited capacity of the mosque, necessitating a rotational approach and leading to tardiness among students. The impact of Duha prayer implementation manifests in students exhibiting heightened enthusiasm, steadfastness, honesty, and responsibility, contributing to an overall increase in spiritual intelligence.

Abstract

Humanism is a theory that emphasizes efforts to humanize humans and humanism theory tends to be abstract when compared to other learning theories, because in the study of humanism theory it is more towards discussing philosophy and psychology. Active learning (active learning) is an effort in order to develop the talents possessed by students, which are implemented in the types of discussion, practice and question and answer. In this study, the aim was to find out the implementation of the theory of active learning of humanism in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning and to find out the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) using humanism theory with active learning strategies at SD Negeri Wijilan. This type of research is qualitative descriptive analysis, data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study are that the implementation of the theory of active learner humanism in learning Islamic Religious Education at SD Negeri Wijilan is well implemented and learning is going well, and has the goal of guiding students to do learning using active learning methods. This can be known by the occurrence of feedback (responses) and changes in student behavior towards positive actions, for example students becoming more active in the teaching and learning process, increasing student enthusiasm for learning, increasing students' memory and increasing moderate attitudes (tolerance).

Abstract

Ideal learning in the millennial era is especially important for students of the PAI study program, where the mold of the PAI study program will later become a figure that builds the morals and character of students in the millennial era. In order to prepare the Millennial generation which is expected by the nation, religion and state in facing challenges in the era of globalization, it is necessary to have serious attention from the government in the field of education that is more targeted and measurable so that the results can be felt and utilized for the benefit of the nation and the State. Students' perceptions of learning in the PAI UIN-SU study program are appropriate for students of the Islamic religious education study program. Because the learning that is applied is suitable for Islamic religious education majors, namely to form ideal PAI teacher candidates. As with learning educational planning then studying various learning strategies, teaching the teaching profession and so on. Which basically refers to the aim of the PAI study program, which is to form ideal PAI teacher candidates.

Abstract

The highest authority in Islam is the Qu’an. It is the beginning of faith, worship, morality and principles. One thing that should be taught to children is that the entire Qur'an is a guide for human life. The verses of the Qur'an and related sources can be a gateway for children to other Islamic educational tools, especially for passion and deepening of religious knowledge to develop healthy morals in accordance with Islamic law. Learning is seen as a lifelong learning process. Al-Qur'an teaching plays an important role in the formation of children's morals by providing guidance, lifelong learning and guidance on the formation of morals from an early age. Al-Qur'an and education play a role here, namely forming morals that are in accordance with the nation's civilization and developing the ability to educate people's lives. Islamic education is also a formal institution that organizes education based on the Qur'an with the aim of forming children's morals.

Abstract

Lahirnya disiplin keilmuan pendidikan Islam bermula dari adanya pertemuan antara filsafat pendidikan dengan pemikiran Islam. Secara genealogi, disiplin keilmuan tersebut memiliki titik persinggungan paradigma yang jika dilacak akar keilmuannnya bermuara pada studi filsafat sebagai the mother of sciences. Philosophical studies dengan berbagai varian madzhabnya membuka tabir scientific spider web (jaring laba-laba keilmuan) yang saling terkait dan tidak bisa dipisahkan. Interkoneksi paradigma pemikiran antara filsafat, filsafat pendidikan, dan pemikiran Islam memberikan kontribusi bagi lahirnya pemikiran filsafat pendidikan Islam beserta madzhab-madzhabnya. Madzhab pemikiran filsafat pendidikan Islam perenial-esensialis salafi, perennial-esensialis madzhabi, modernis, dan perenial-esensialis kontekstual falsifikatif, dan rekonstruksi sosial berlandaskan tauhid dalam studi ini adalah hasil perkawinan antara madzhab filsafat pendidikan dengan madzhab pemikiran Islam.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze what are the students' difficulties in writing English using recount text. This research is a quantitative approach descriptive research design involving 33 Tenth grade students of TPMG. The data collection technique is a test. There are several steps to analyze the data: analyzing the students' work, calculating the average score using descriptive statistics and the last step is descriptive analysis. The results showed that the students' difficulties in writing English in the tenth grade of TPMG were Vocabullary 33%, Grammar 40% and language use 27%. So the highest difficulty experienced by these students lies in grammar with a percentage of 40%

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the Al-Qur'an memorization program at At-Taqwa Integrated Islamic Elementary School as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of the Al-Qur'an memorization program. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative, by presenting findings related to the implementation of the tahfidz program in the school. Data collection techniques using interviews, observations and documentation. The informants in this study were school principals, Tahfidz program managers, teachers, and students. In addition to interviews with informants, researchers also collected data through observation and study of data documentation related to information on the implementation of the tahfidz program. The data analysis technique uses Miles and Hubberman analysis, namely interactive data analysis consisting of three activity flows that occur simultaneously, namely: (a) data reduction, (b) data presentation, and (c) conclusion/verification. The results of the study showed that the implementation of the Al-Qur'an memorization program during a pandemic at the At-Taqwa Integrated Islamic Elementary School, the teacher tried to make learning possible without burdening students both through methods and the learning process. Supporting factors in memorizing the Al-Qur'an at At-Taqwa Integrated Islamic Elementary School, namely: the method factors used by the teacher, enthusiasm and motivation among students, support from parents, and a comfortable environment and inhibiting factors in the Al-Qur'an memorization program 'an, namely: the factor of facilities and infrastructure in terms of communication, the factor of students' ability to read the Al-Qur'an, and the factor of the role of parents. The results of the implementation of the Al-Qur'an memorization program during the pandemic at Tepadu At-Taqwa Islamic Elementary School were good, because this program had a positive influence on students with an increase in quality in terms of tajwid and makhorijul letters.

Abstract

The focus of this research problemisHow Impact formation of the religious character of the daily behavior of students in Madrasah. This study is a qualitative research The data collection method used is the method of observation, interviews and documentation respondents involved, headmaster, teachers, staff and students. Hasi these studies show that Madrasah using five methodsin order to form the religious character of students, namely:exemplary, planting discipline, habituation, and the atmosphere is conducive. These five methods are applied in routine activities such asDuha prayer, midday prayer in congregationand Habituation Tadarus Qur'an.

Abstract

The research aimed to know the students’ speaking ability at the tenth Grade of MA Nawawi Djamil Muhammadiyah Duri, by using accuracy, communication, interaction, and fluency to assess their speaking ability. Speaking is a productive language skill. It means that speaking is a person’s skills to produce sounds that exists at the meaning and be understood by other people, so that able to create of good communication. The research population was tenth grade students of MA Nawawi Djamil Muhammadiyah Duri in the academic year 2017/2018. The population of the research is 10 students. The sample technique is population sampling. To perform the data, researcher used descriptive quantitative approach. Therefore, it related with statistic, so that researcher uses SPSS V. 17 to analyze the data. To make the reader easy to understanding this research, the data will be presented in tables and chart form. In order to investigate students’ accuracy, communication, interaction, and fluency the researcher using oral test it was speaking test. After doing the research of students’ accuracy, communication, interaction and fluency in their speaking ability, researcher obtained the result of total mean score is 61.00 “Passed” category.
